I had a great experience and was given an extra day rental for free - in case the weather was too bad to drive. The truck was even warmed up for me!

The online check-in went very poorly. IT took over an hour to complete the check in as apparently the app does not recognize a Canadian Enhanced Drivers License. When we finally got through to an agent and handed to the manager, it was mentioned that this was the second time that they had seen this problem with the enhanced Drivers license. That should not have taken that long to find out about a fairly common type of license that is used. Please fix your app so that you can easily scan the back side of an enhanced drivers license. BTW, the folks at Bighorn are great and been very helpful every time we rent there. This time, they were closed when we needed the vehicle and they got everything setup for pickup and had the vehicle ready. It was just the scanning of the license that was very poor.

The people behind the desk are doing their jobs. However Uhaul policy overall is crappy and unorganized so its hard for their employees to do a great job. we booked a uhaul only to find the day before our move this particular unit was not available . These are details that should never be a thing.
The first vehicle l took out of the yard had a flashing light stating an issue with the emergency brake. Fortunately l hadn't gone far and was able to return and was given another vehicle which handled well.
the attendants where very professional. too much paper used for the process of renting a vehicle. U haul should try to be more environmentally friendly. also have aero miles or air miles.
