I had to go to two locations for drop off. First place I called the day prior to drop off with no answer, went there at 8:30 am to drop off, no one there did not answer phone had to get customer service to change drop off location fortunately it was nearby.

I reserved a trailer online Tuesday night at the Clairmont location for Wednesday at 8am. As I was standing in line, I got a text from uhaul at 8:04am telling me to go to another location. When I got there, upset that your text was about 30 minutes late, they didn't care about this lapse in business practice and rented a trailer to me. After we hooked it up, I asked about the lock on the back. The employee said it must have been left by last user - so apparently, the NE location doesn't inspect equipment. He then had to unhook it and hook up another trailer. I was on a schedule - this incredibly bad experience took over an hour of my time. My client was upset, as I was late meeting them. All you do is rent equipment - seems like you could get that right or at least train your staff the phrase," I'm sorry, we'll have the manager address this issue, it shouldn't have happened." I got blank stares and "do you want a trailer or not".

Well first and foremost, I want to say our experience was horrible to say the least. My husband reserved a 26’ truck on March 7th to pick up on March 29th. Well a few days before they called to confirm a 20’ truck which he declined and they told him to go to another location to get a 26’ truck. So we did and when we arrive they still had us confirmed for a 20’ truck. To avoid confrontation, my husband took the 20’. Well, of course, it wasn’t big enough. So he had to call customer service( which took an hour out of our moving day) to have them provide us with a trailer for the rest of our things. Luckily, they were very nice and rented it to us for $1. Well it doesn’t end there. My husband specifically requested to have all the vehicles returned by 7pm on March 30th to the Buford location and NOT ghr Brookhaven lovatioknbcause WE WERE MOVING and wouldn’t be down that way. Buford is an hour from Brookhaven. Well to no surprise, my husband gets a call stating that he should have returned the vehicles by 10am. Now why would we do that when we were moving. So to avoid being charged any late fees, we hurried to get everything out of the vehicles to get them returned AND we were still charged $20. That May not be a lot to some people, but it’s somethig we should have not had to pay! All of this could have been avoided if someone just did their job and ensured that they had a 26’ truck by March 29th especially since we reserved it 3 weeks in advance. Let’s just say, we won’t be using U-Haul again. And I know pure probably reading this thinking” so what? We have thousands of happy customers”, well keep pissing off multiple customers and you won’t have any! I would like my $20 back by the way! Oh and thanks for pissing off a Marine veteran! Be glad my husband didn’t write this review, you would have a PR nightmare!

On the day of my move, The employee notified me they had give away my reserved truck to another customer. Then told me technically it was not my truck. So I had to go to another location further from my home. The truck had a horrible vibration, and then you charged me 38 dollars for an 1/8 of a tank of fuel. Never again

Confirmation of pickup location through the 1-800 number should be made by phone not by email. Especially when changing the assigned pick up location. The new location that was was assigned to me was eight additional miles. I will never use the 1-800 number again.

I rented the uhaul for someone else and they didn’t. Return it to me so I had to take other actions ! Uhaul did everything that they were supposed to do . I learned a valuable lesson you can’t help everyone

Have a second charge on my credit card with no explanation. Cannot get an answer from anyone to explain what it is. No damage done to vehicle and I cleaned it and filled gas back to the appropriate level before I returned it.
