I was sitting at the stater Brothers parking lot eating lunch from Taco Bell when a tow truck driver by the name of Dennis came in and started to hook up the rental truck saying that it had been past due and he didn't realize by the supervisor in cathedral City to tow it away even though my furniture was still in it... She advised me that you all's policy is that a rental truck cannot be in a parking lot more than 2 hours or it's subject to tow is this true.. I had already been online and extended my time frame to 9:00 p.m. but yet I had to stop what I was doing and talk with a person in another store where I did not written it from and she didn't advise him that both my credit cards have been declined which was not true as well... I'm completely disappointed in the way the service was run the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing I tried to use the website all evening and I tried to call all this morning all it would do is just put you on hold it's very disappointingBryan M.
Wait time was horrible. We were at the counter for about 30 min and no explanation was given for the long wait. Only after we asked what was taking so long did the agent say there was an internet crash or meltdown. It was odd he never shared that info until after we asked. And then of course the vehicle I wanted wasn't available because it hadn't been returned yet. However we were upgraded to a bigger truck for the same priceKenneth M.

U-Haul's website is terrible! I tried to reserve a 15 ft. truck on 5/2/21 and it took me 45 minutes to go through the entire process of selecting the truck and trying to pay for it before your website froze at the point of accepting the terms and conditions for the truck and rental contract. There are no telephone numbers listed for you local facilities, so I had to call you toll free corporate number and was on hold for 20 minutes before I could speak to a live person to rent the truck. When I picked up the truck, I mentioned my bad experience to the staff at the rental facility and they stated that U-Haul's corporate office is aware of the problems with the website, but has never fixed them. U-Haul will continue to loose customers to your competitors because your directing all customers to a faulty website and waiting on hold for long periods of time on your corporate phone line just to talk to a customer representative to correct the problem. Customers will get frustrated and call a competing rental company that provides a better customer experience.Mark W.
The first location where I was to pick up my trailer (not my preferred location or time) was closed when I got there even though I was on time. Was redirected after a prolonged effort to make contact by phone. Moving pads that I hadn't ordered were in the trailer which I didn't find until I got home, too late to return them. The online experience was awful. I tried multiple times to do it online and had to open a bunch of different times, QR location code didn't work, when I got the vehicle it stated there was 1/4 more gas than there was. The worked helped me go online to report it, I took a photo and thought I uploaded it, found later that it didn't process. Super irritating overall.Elizabeth S.

The check in process with giving two additional phone numbers was a bunch of BS. I had a credit card, CA DL, and a phone number I will not use U-haul again because of this inconvience I will go to Penske for future rental needs and I will refer friends to do so as well.
