Better communication and customer support. I was told to just pick the closest location in martinsburg wv to return the truck. Then after I left they randomly picked a location very far away from the house. It was a pain and cost us extra mileage and time. The whole process had very poor communication and support.Rachel D.

1. The facility opened about 30 minutes LATE. 2. After the extremely long wait in line where it seemed that only a single person out of the three in front even knew what they were doing, I went to my storage unit to get my bed. Unfortunately there was a FIRE HAZARD as the sliding doors, which are supposed to operational while the building is occupied was NOT open and was visibly locked. 3. The parking lot is horribly congested and small. The Equipment is haphazardly parked throughout the lot. I personally witnessed people almost being run over from drivers not paying attention and equipment being damaged from bumps due to the congested area.YAHVONNE R.

This location needs to adhere to their stated business hours!! Sunday hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This location did not open until about 9:40 which imposed a problem because I had to pay my movers for just standing around waiting for this location to open. This is unacceptable business practices and I will never ever use this location again!! I lost money because they did not open in a timely manner as stated. I called U-Haul twice to verify that I was not going to be charged each day I needed the truck. I received a 680 bill. I called to dispute and the assistant manager tells me she doesn't know who told me that. Your employees told me that. Twice I called to verify a d twice I was lied to. The online pickup/check in was super bad all around and too much to mention here. I've rented a van for 24 hours on Sundays about 10 times now and checking in online is always such a hassle. I would easily have gone elsewhere if there were other options but there really isn't nearby. I hope Uhaul app developers do some work to fix the app!!Michael G.
The van was very damaged with lots of scratches and dents. The mileage only showed upon turning the engine one, then it would show â€œsystem tire monitoringâ€ or something similar. The van smelled of cirgarette smoke and the steering wheel and the dashboard etc were extremely dirty.suzanne B.
