Used the app to check out. Then went inside to return the key. Was told there was not a Uhaul location there and they just never removed the "Uhaul Rental" sign. Called Uhaul, they claimed to have no record of me renting the truck. I still have the key as there was not a box and no one would take it in the gas station and there was not a key box for me to drop it in. Called Uhaul again the next day. Was told that was a valid location and the clerk must have been confused. Was told "Danny" would call me to let me know how to get the key to him as we still have it. No one ever called. I still do not know what to do with this key. No one at Uhaul cares or will help me, but I was threatened with paying a lost key fee. I HAVE TRIED IN VAIN TO GET SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO WITH THIS KEY. I TOLD UHAUL THE TRUCK WAS LEFT IN AN UNSECURE LOCATION, THEY DO NOT CARE. This was the worst experience I have ever happened.
Originally to pickup 15 ft truck in Athens, GA. Updated on Saturday to pickup in Madison, GA. Jasmine guaranteed truck at updated location at 1:00 pm. Also, I asked if my son, 20 years old could pickup, she said no problems, because I listed him as additional driver. My son is in Madison at 1:00 pm and there is no truck. Next, we receive update at 1:30 pm that truck is now a 26 ft and pickup is updated again to Buckhead, GA. My son is able to get transportation to Buckhead, thank goodness. Now, there seems to a problem with son picking up truck. Gentleman at store enters all data on his cell phone. My son calls the main office to speak with Jasmine, she is apologetic. Someone at Uhaul offers my son $50 discount for problems. I confirm to Uhaul via email and we finally get the oversized truck. This truck presented problems with entry to my location and was worried about breaking pavers on driveway. Overall, this rental was a nightmare! I have been a Uhaul user for many years, but I will seek others options available next time. My son says he will never use Uhaul again.
Maybe have a clue that the customer is actually coming to pick it up at the scheduled time?
Cashier did not know how to check in returns. Had to wait. Have email stating I had 1 day and 3 hours which would put return at 12:30pm. When I rented truck it changed my 1 day and 3 hours to exactly 24 hours (10am). I had to wait for person to get there to check in...she showed up at 10:15am....causing a charge I disputed
We received a call that we could not pick up the truck we wanted at the location they promised and that we would have to drive to a location further away if we wanted that size truck. They also changed the pick up time from noon to 5pm. I called at 1:00 to make sure they would have it and they said it was already there. If I hadn't called we would have had to wait until 5. They should have let us know. It was inconvenient and we were waiting on the truck.
Employees were police. Gas station /convenience store. No moving blankets or other supplies available at this location. The truck was very clean.
The gentleman that took care of me was very nice and friendly and never rushed me in any way he was very professional and kind his helper was also very kind and helpful. This was my first time ever getting a uhaul and they made it very easy to do and I was super nervous
The inside of the winshield was very dirty when I pciked up the truck. I don't think I should have to clean the winshield when I pick up one of your trucks.
PC was down; wasn't sure how to rent the truck under that circumstance; used tablet pc to send / receive Credit Card information - secure?
I took the time to reserve a trailer and check-in on-line, but when I arrived the location said they had to re-enter all of the info, and eventually got the initial invoice amount wrong! They corrected while I was there, but then later when I returned the trailer they still tried to charge the higher amount. And, they had no working printer to provide a receipt!
We had originally planned to get a truck at the Greensboro location but no one bothered showing up for work that morning. It was out of our way ans added mileage to go to another location but we were appreciative they had a truck available. The clerk at the store had too many responsibilities and my husband had to take her phone and take a picture of the mileage for her. Not the best experience, but again grateful they had one at all for us to rent.
They only had 1 person working and she had never rented a uhaul before. She had no idea how to do it and I was there over 2 hours getting the trailer. Needless to say, there was no one to help lift it on to the hitch.
Personnel was very helpful and accommodating.
I had an 8:00 appt but had to edit on them checking out another customer who was arguing that he had the wrong truck size. I did not leave with my i haul until 9:00. I was supposed to have I haul for 8 hours. However when I returned it at 5- they charged me for double rental charges. Also I rented 12 furniture pads, but was only given 6
every thing was fine, if I needed help the lady said she would get someone to help me remove the trailor 6x12 thanks again judy at chevron seven island rd buckhead ga
The people at the store were not clear on how to check out the trailer that I rented. Also, there were no furniture pads even though I ordered them.
Agent who accepted the key when we returned the truck was not customer friendly. She was about to charge us more than 70 miles when we only had 43.5 miles. Good that we checked. She even looked mad when we had questions about the discrepancy. Truck's light (inside where our stuffs are) is not working. We unloaded night time.
computer was down when picking up and dropping off the trailer. Left without processing the bill and securing a receipt.
We would not recommend U-Haul to a friend. We have rented three trucks in the last month and rented the first and last time ever from U Haul. We rented the other two times from Budget. And have to rent again in the week and it will for sure be Budget. We reserved a 26ft on line to be picked up in Milledgeville GA and a few hours before our pick up we received an email that U Haul changed our pick up location to an 1 1/2 away from where we reserved it. We called them and they said they texted us of the change. #1 we didn't mark to be contacted by text. This is so unprofessional!!! We called the U Haul main corporate office and they could of cared less that our pick up location was messed up and caused us a lot of time and money. They told us that they just can't produce a truck for us!! And basically told us U Haul did not need our business if we wanted to cancel the truck. We will never rent another U-Haul truck again. And we will make sure anyone that we have contact with will not either. Matter of fact I think I need to post on Face Book and Twitter our story.

Gas tank gauge was not properly put in the computer and it malfunctioned not allowing change. I was charged $60 as a result.
I updated my info on line and had to wait forever. Check-in took 35 minutes. Waited forever for the printer to work and it still didn't work. I did not have a contract or any printed material. The attendant (said she was the store owner's daughter) had horrible customer service skills. I guess that was my penalty for being 5 minutes late. No furniture pads. Never heard of a u-haul facility not having pads. Returned truck on time and the return was just as horrible. Attendant had to call someone to manually provide the charges. Wasted a lot of time. NEVER will I use this facility again. I don't know which was worst: the horrible customer service experience or the flies in the store
