First, need to praise the customer service representative who was excellent. Second, location was clean and well stocked with items to support the move. Two areas of improvement: 1) if you make a reservation on line, you should not have to wait twenty minutes behind people who did not reserve in advance; and , 2) you should provide instructions on where to make a U turn when you leave the location as it is a one way street.

There was a problem with the Internet during the pick up process, which is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. However, other than that the staff were friendly and helpful. They even made sure that I didn't over pay for my rental....saved me $100 by correcting the bill at the end. Definitely would recommend this location!!

A hold was placed on my account that no-one can find or fix. Then I was charged 3 TIMES for 1 truck. The gas you said was in there was wrong. I was told I was given a credit, but it's not in my bank yet and you proceeded to charge me a 4th time after I absolutely said I did not want, yet another, charge on my account. You're now holding almost $200 of mine hostage. I don't care of your computer says you refunded my money. It's not a refund until I have it back. Guess I don't get to buy groceries this month because of Uhaul.

The mi in the truch did not reflect the mi on my bill. I was charged for 224 miles according to the bill. I only had the truck for 2 hours. Its not possible for me to drive that much in 2 hours. Luckily it was resolved (after trying to reach them for 15 minutes, and i kept getting hung up on by the receptionist.) but they should be checking these things more carefully. i also mentioned it to the desk associate at the U-hall pick up spot. I told them the miles on my receipt did not reflect the miles in the truck, this was right after i dropped it off. I did this to prevent being overcharged. he said he'd fix it but guess what! i was charged 142$ for what should have been around $35. Completely ridiculous.

My destination was 270 miles from where I was. We checked the odometer before we got there and we were 70 miles below the limit. I got charged for being 10 miles above the limit (of 361) The associate went into the van before we checked it and also tried to charge us a $30 cleaning fee for not folding up our furniture pads we used. Something scummy was going on. We drove 10 miles to pick up extra stuff in the van but we did not go 100 miles over our limit. I got unfairly charged and the associate seemed smug about it and I will not be using this location again.

Great service, thank you! The only thing that bothered me was the intensity of air-freshener smell in the car cabin. It's too much of a good thing. After one hour driving the van this week and the truck one week earlier, I got headache from the smell.

There was a nut bolting down the tire jack that poked out a bit too far. It snagged transported items. I pointed it out to an employee. He was receptive and said he would do simething about it immediately. It always feels good when someone agrees to act on my feedback. Brookline Uhaul always has exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this uhaul location.

What was so surprising was that the u-haul associate met us outside, just as we stepped out of the truck after parking. We didn't even have to go inside to complete the vehicle return. That was excellent. Also, I liked how quickly I received my receipt. Again, that was excellent.

It would help if inside the truck there was a suggestion on the ratio of gas tank volume to number of gallons. I ended up filling almost twice as much gas as I should have. Something like “? of tank is 4 gallons” would be helpful

The Uhaul personnel that checked me in had an issue with processing my Amex card. * It is important to note than when entering amex info, the 3 digit number on back of amex card is not used, it is the 4 digit number on front of card that is used. *Please train your staff Thank you kindly

I had set up the mobile check-out process to just show up and take the van and go, but the van that was assigned to me was not one of the ones that was prepared for this type of check-out. I would make sure that the vans that are pre-prepared are on the same ones assigned to people that have the expedited mobile check-out. Also, upon returning the vehicle, the attendant had wrong information on how much gas was initially in the tank. I had to show him my picture to rectify the situation, otherwise he would have charged me a fee, even though I had filled up the tank to the original level. Luckily I had the picture, so it wasn't an issue.
