HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND TO BOOT OVERALL SIMPLE QUICK AND PAINLESS PROCESS TO DEAL WITH. MY TOTAL TIME TO PICK UP A VAN AND DROP IT OFF WITH NO RESERVATION WAS APPOX. 8MIN..YES 8MIN IN PICK UP AND OUT DROP OFF AND NO CORNERS WERE CUT AND I DID NOT FEEL CHEATED OR CONCERNED. IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO A PERSON THAT KNOWS HOW TO BE FRIENDLY CONFIDENT AND COMPETENT WHILE DOING THEIR JOB! I had purchased 2 shorty wardrobe at the West Roxbury site and tried to exchange them at the Brookline Rt 9 since I did not need them and needed a large TV box I did not have my receipt the gentleman would not do it. They are from U-Haul do not know why the exchange could not be done they were not used and had the strapping still around them.

Improve the app. Requiring everyone to take pictures of everything is cumbersome. There should at least be a discount offered for all the work customers are doing. You've made it more self service, but you shouldn't expect the customers to do the employees job, and not give a discount. I was personally out in 20 degree temps walking around this big truck for 20 minutes taking pictures. You also never asked me to return the car keys, but I did.

I didn't know how many gallons to put back, so I ended up overspending on gas. It would be helpful to give a guide on how many gallons it's needed to get to half tank from 1/4 and near empty on a printed sticker by the gas tank. That way I wouldn't have to guess.

The UHaul had a leak in the "Attic" and all of my boxes were wet upon arrival to my new apartment.

This was not my rental! Somebody was somehow allowed to rent a vehicle in my name. I called the office and ask them to look into this, and they have not called me back yet. I called them after I received a text message confirming “my” rental earlier today. They did not offer an explanation at the time, but the person who answered said they made the rental, would correct it when the customer returned, and would call me back to explain at that time. I never heard back from them. So my primary question is how could someone be allowed to rent a truck under my name, and then complete the reservation under my name and receive a copy of the bill with my personal information? Second, how will it not happen again?

Truck box was not cleaned, they charged $.60 per mile more than the Natick store charges and they charged me $10.00 for blankets and a Hand Truck which i never used. The employees that I worked with were very polite and professional and I have nothing but praise and respect for them. These must be management policies and I do not agree with them. I lease a truck from U-Haul over 40 times per year for my business.

After-hours checkin is a bit of a hassle with all of the photos to be taken and so forth. But better than not having after-hours checkin, I suppose.

The truck I rented was older with 100k miles and the door handle was not working well. I also did not get a breakdown of the final cost after dropoff.

Need more people working. We waited for 40 minutes with one customer ahead of us. Also we were told there was more gas in the van than there was and we decided to put more gas in, than we used, so that we wouldn’t get hit with the $30 surcharge, and we told the employee and he said ok and didn’t reimburse us. We paid $17 for gas and we used about $7 worth. Left a bad taste in my mouth

The printer didn't work, so my contract or receipt couldn't be printed. As a result, someone drove 54 extra miles after I dropped off the truck and billed it to my name. I had to speak to the manager, who was very forthcoming and empathetic, to reverse that charge. Considering this was my first U-Haul experience, I was really stressed.

When we arrived at 10:05 for our 10:00 vehicle reservation, no employees were present at the rental site but the store front was unlocked. An employee arrived ~10 minutes after us (approximately 10:15am).
