Vehicle was in perfect condition. Service was speedy and well executed. However, location does not feel very safe at night. There are no fences or controlled access. The lot is dark, especially between vehicles. There is no apparent indication of security monitoring to deter crime. I would recommend after hours returns be a last resort.

Being 10 minutes late to pick up will result in you having to redo your order. Even though I had called and made arrangements for my boyfriend to pick up the truck and they had asked for his drivers license number they refused and insisted that I drive all the way across town to sign out the truck. Do not use UHaul. They are the worst.

Young lady in office was not helpful after she told us the truck we rented was not available - we had to wait for the manager. He is the only other person in the office, the only one who seems knowledgeable and able to help, and he's unable to provide good service if even two customers are on site. They knew our equip was not available long before, the reservation was made about a month in advance. Informed us we could go down to Denver to get a truck or rent two smaller ones from them. If customers and commitments are important then they should have had the right truck transported to Brighton for us. Two trucks, two drivers, two tanks to fill and twice the trouble - their bad. After negotiating, they adjusted the prices for rental and mileage to be equivalent to the original 26 ft truck. The early check out at 7am went smoothly with the lock boxes, again, twice the process. Overall, Uhaul's "policies" are NOT customer friendly. When there is an issue it is a big surprise AND they make it YOUR problem. The only reason we knew there was an issue is because we stopped by the day before to verify everything; they would not have called us. I wonder what we would have encountered at our 6:30am checkout with no one around. The trucks worked flawlessly after WE had to fill the gas tanks and TRY to return them with the same fuel levels. Overall, my most negative experience with Uhaul, EVER!

We rented a car dolly to pull my car from the Denver area to Gt. Falls, MT. I have never used a dolly before and wanted to make sure we understood how to hook the car to the dolly. The younger lady that took us out to the dolly did not offer any assistance. I even asked to get one of the guys to help. Her comment was it's easy enough to understand. Just following the instructions on the dolly." We even brought our car to the store to hook it up, but she was not interested in helping in anyway. I even had to move the dolly from the storage location to our motorhome. I understand that Uhaul is using more/smaller locations to rent trucks/equipment. That said they need to be trained to the same standards as your main stores. This just didn't cut it and was well below the Uhaul standards we have come to expect.

Although we were very happy with the location where we rented our truck we were not happy because our original reservation had us picking up our truck in Northglenn, CO. Less than 24 hours prior to our reserved pick up time we we called and told our reservation was no longer valid as someone else reserved our truck. I am still waiting to hear from someone in customer service to contact me regarding this issue.

I have never had a worse experience with U-Haul. They were not prepared for me when I arrived. The location was unclean and run down. I could not sit in front of the desk because there was not enough room. Personnel could not communicate in English. I stated several times that I could not understand them and all they did was repeat the exact words that I could not understand. They were argumentative and demeaning. They said there were no drop-off locations in Missouri. We had to find that for ourselves I had requested from U-Haul a different location to pick up the trailer. When I reserved the trailer I explained that I did not like the location on Main Street in Brighton Colorado. I do not understand why my request was not honored. The trailer hitch and wiring was done in Aurora on E. Peoria St. I arrived at the scheduled time. I was told the installation would take approximately an hour. Because I had errands to run I left my car and said I would be back in about an hour. When I came back they had not even started on my car. From the time I brought my car in to have the hitch installed until the time they completed the task was three hours and 17 minutes. While waiting for my car another customer asked if I was having a hitch installed. He told me to be sure and check everything because they had wired his car wrong and he was back to have it corrected. Before I drove away I checked the brake lights, backup lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, and headlights. Everything worked. After the trailer was hooked up to my car a few days later I was told by Olivia's Auto personnel that everything was working. While driving to our destination in Missouri and after it became dark, we could not figure out why we were getting honked at. Arriving to the storage place after dark we discovered that not only did we have no trailer running lights but the left rear tail light of the car did not work while the trailer was plugged in to our car. After disconnecting the trailer wiring from our car wiring our taillight started working again and functioned normally. I own and operate a small business and charge customers $2.00 per minute. When I took the car in to have the trailer hitch installed it took a total combined time of four hours 53 minutes away from. I now have to find additional time to leave my business for another two hours (minimum) to have the wiring fixed. Allowing three hours plus travel time for the first install, which I consider to be very generous, leaves a balance of two hours and 17 minutes at a cost of $274.00 minimum to my business. I request that cost be applied to my next trailer rental in February.

We had a rental agreement for 9am Saturday morning to 9am Sunday morning, and the facility was not even open on Sundays.We were told that We would get a partial refund dfor early return We used the trailer for 7 1/2 hours and got $0.51 back. Some credit ??
