I have a deep concern regarding the rental charge with the contact 91194128. On August 11, 2017, my friend Hao MA and I rent a 10' truck to move from 3009 Madison Ave, Boulder 80303 at 4:38 PM to 2885 Aurora Ave, Boulder 80303 at about 6:00 PM. However, this morning I got an "updated" receipt saying that I drove for 49 miles. This is such a big mistake, and I totally cannot understand why this happened. I called the customer service to raise this issue, but the representative just said she would put this on file to me. And the place where I rent the truck -- Nick's auto repair, does not open on Saturday, and I am not sure how the miles are read and how the vehicle is transferred to someone else. What happened to me is really disturbing. I have called many people, both at the rental location, or the customer service, but no one really helped me out. I used the self-pickup system and on the whole was satisfied - it was great to be able to get and return the equipment after normal business hours, as my work and my move timeline did not play well together. My only gripe was that the "live verification" comparison of my selfie and drivers license took very long - 9 minutes of just sitting in the truck staring at the screen waiting for someone to show up. I was also concerned that the truck was unlocked and the keys were just chillin in the glove compartment, maybe a lock box with a combination would be a better option, but I understand that the self-pickup is a new thing so that may come with time. Overall, good experience, I called the location ahead of time to make sure I was set and the people who took my call were helpful and did well in assuaging my fears. I definitely will consider uhaul first next time i need to move.

This was the most stressful and unprofessional experience I have ever experienced. We reserved a U-Haul 4 weeks before we needed it and a week before we were supposed to pick-up, we called to make sure every thing was fine. The person we talked to at Nick's Auto Repair was extremely rude and told us we did not have a truck to pick up there because we had signed up for self-service pick-up, but they don't do that at their location. I called U-Haul, they assure me we do have a truck, so we had to play phone tag with Nick's Auto repair until U-haul finally contacted Nick's Auto repair themselves. Nick's auto repair called us and explained we would definitely have a truck on our pick-up day and we could find a key in the lock box. When we went to go get to truck, the shop was closed and there was no lock box. we then proceeded to call U-haul, sty on hold for a half hour, before we were informed the key was hidden on the outside of the truck. Why no one in the 7 people we talked to from both U-HAUL and Nick's Auto repair failed to mention this detail is beyond me. I am never using U-Haul for my moving services again and Nick's Auto Repair needs to seriously brush up on their customer service skills if they ever want people to return to them.

My reservation was not ready when I arrived. I was given my van an hour late and told to have it back before the scheduled end time. When the owner arrived late, he greeted all the men in the parking lot that were waiting for him and completely ignored me (as a woman). The card scanner would not accept my credit card which was definitely working and I was forced to use another form of payment. The van was dirty. There was a gallon of orange juice sitting in the front seat from the previous day. It smelled. The back was full of dirt and unclean.

The way the charge disappears from my bank account for a couple days, then reappears later is the most annoying shit in the whole world. I try every route to move my belongings that I can, before using uhaul, because of that reason. You really can't figure out how to do the charges without messing with your customers finances for a week? Weak.

Call them direct. Skip the uhaul website it was useless and offered me a smaller truck 15 miles away when I requested it from Nicks Auto repair. I called Nicks and they had the one I wanted. Great location for CU moves.

I was absolutely disgusted by my u-haul experience. First, I reserved a 10 ft truck for 12pm and had friends coming to help me move at 1pm. However, somehow my truck was not available so I received a call saying that I couldn't get my truck until 2:30pm, which was not going to work because I had planned my day and my friends had planned their day around me moving at 1pm. Then, I was told that I would be called back in 10-15 minutes with news of a replacement truck at a different location - one much farther from my apartment, meaning I would have to drive additional miles because of your mistake. Then, I didn't receive a call and it was already 12:45pm and my friends were coming in 15 minutes so I NEEDED the truck already. So I called back and I was transferred around to someone else. I was put on hold, waiting to talk to someone, when YOU HUNG UP ON ME. So then I called again and was again transferred to someone. But this time I got to speak to someone. She told me they had a 15ft truck at the new location, again, further from my apartment. She also promised me that I would not be charged for the upgrade in size. Then, I go to pick up the u-haul and the online system kept glitching and not going through with the process, so getting the keys and starting everything up took a hell of a lot longer than it should have, requiring multiple phone calls to you and keeping my friends waiting. Using the truck was fine. Then, I just received a bill and of course, you CHARGED ME THE PRICE OF THE BIGGER TRUCK. All of this culminates in the following: 1) I want a refund for the price of the extra truck and/or some credit/discount for the absolute NIGHTMARE this experience was. 2) Not only was I inconvenienced by your multiple errors, but so were about 10 other people who were helping me move. 3) I will tell everyone who is moving about this negative experience - online reviews, friends, family, everyone. I don't want anyone else to have the experience that I had.
