No place for u-haul customers to park their cars, I was told the vehicle had. 1/4 tank of gas but it was actually empty and when I brought it back it had over half a tank of gas. I should have gotten some kind of credit for that but I didn’t. And I asked for a dolly but there was none in the vehicle.

Vehicle was filthy. And smelled horrible. Ashes all over the seats and cut holder. Cigar Tabacco was everywhere. Had to drive with windows open because the smell was so unbearable. Notified the front desk employees twice and all they said was they’d look into it. Tried to show the guy at the front desk but he didn’t even care to check it out.

I originally scheduled my location at Fairfax and was rerouted to La Cienega. I wasn’t told that I would have to park 4 blocks away. Because if the rerouting and parking my check in took much longer than expected and I left the location with the van almost an hour later than I had planned, and reached my destination about 45 minutes late. I received a very rude call at 4pm, my scheduled return time, with no indication of who was calling me, demanding that the van be returned immediately because another client was waiting for the van. I was still unloading the van but I rushed and returned it within about 40 minutes. Because I was rushing I forgot the dolly at my house. The person who checked me in should have adjusted my return time based on my departure time. I stated I needed three hours, not two. And, the person who called me was extremely rude and unprofessional.

The location was fine but my experience overall would be Very Poor. The "Pick Up Your Truck" Application repeatedly was not working. It kept saying I needed to "Get Assistance" with a number listed to call but after 3 times of calling with no answer or return call then I had to call Customer Service. After Calling Customer Service and Speaking to two different Representatives, who had no idea had to resolve the issue, I was then directed to go to Live Chat, who again didn't help. All the while I waited 45 minutes outside the location where finally the worker of the United Mailboxes assisted me with my reservation. If your application does has this issue then someone should know how to fix it. I waited a total of an hour to get my Truck and by then I could only move for a couple hours since I had to go back to work. Overall not a great experience.

Do not rent from here. If you specifically reserve a dolly ahead of time, you will not get one, and they will still charge you for one even though the customer service rep upon pick-up made a notation in the file that it was missing AND a note was included in the comments upon returning the truck. Poor customer service and no apology or follow-up for the inconvenience. Would NOT recommend. There are PLENTY of other RELIABLE locations in the vicinity, go there!

Really it worked out so well and no hassle whatsoever I don't see any way to improve on it. Good affordable price, Van with under 1000 miles on it(new), convenient location and the people working at the location were courteous, accurate, honest and on top of things. Washington DC senate all of them could take a lesson from it.

Make the truck-share mobile-based system actually work. After going through all the prompts, it said we had to go inside. Defeats the whole purpose and wasted 20 minutes. Also, the checkout process with all the photo taking was a bit much for a short 3-hour reservation. I'm comparing this to Zipcar, which I also use and find to be way easier with none of these steps.

No, the man didn't attach the chains to the truck under carriage, not did he attach the chains to the car frame. During my trip the tire straps caused the front tires to turn. I was lucky to have made the trip OK. One more thing, the trailer had a broken light, but he rented it to me anyway.
