Get a real office instead of a construction trailer and don’t let your people smoke up a cloud in the building where customers are coming in to do paperwork. It smells horrible in there and I came out smelling smoky.

Computer system slow to check out Gas was down and had to call low fuel to Asst Manager attention. Also uhaul changed pick up location which caused me an extra day. I wanted Young’s Service but had to get to before noon. Had I known about Hillside location I could have picked it up around 2pm and only cost me one day. I should get a refund for extra day.

The truck was clean but smelled absolutely horrible. The second I got in, it made me think of the elephant cage at the zoo, thank goodness it was a quick move!!!!

The location was good and the front office staff was courteous. Never trust the UHAUL fake 50$ Guarantee, finally, they will say depends on availability false advertising. They changed my preferred location an hour before pickup which increased distance by 10 miles. The corporate office staff so rude to even explain.

The woman that took care of us at this location was WONDERFUL. Although, when we went to originally pick up our uhaul there was NO truck there for us. Uhaul did not call me once to explain the situation and that they were trying to move us to a new location to pick up a new truck. Very disappointed in that. We were not sure we were going to be able to move to Georgia.

Rented an immaculately clean Transit Van! Route 88's parking area for the U-Hauls is VERY easy to exit, and then enter again when returning. Conveniently located next to a gas station for topping off your rental. Route 88's office staff are all extremely kind, efficient, and personable :) They deserve "10 Stars" if there was such a thing!

This is not meant to be a poor review of the 170 Hillside Drive location, but rather a complaint against the U-Haul customer service apparatus writ large. I waited on hold for close to 45 minutes, made three attempts to access the online help portal to no avail and even began a lengthy and circular chat with a chatbot- all to resolve the issue of having locked the keys in the cab of the truck. Once I finally reached a human person, I was informed, simply, that U-Haul does NOTHING to help a renter who has locked themselves out of the rental vehicle. If this policy had been made clear to me anywhere in the contract or in the fine print on the website, I wouldn't have had to waste an hour trying to reach a customer service representative. In the end, I paid to have a locksmith open the cab. I am sorely disappointed in U-Haul's no help policy for lockouts and the general lack of ease in accessing customer assistance over the phone and online.
