This was not the location I originally reserved. Original location had to close due to some emergency and I was sent to Mark's Auto repair. Way farther away from where I'm located, a bit of inconvenience.

Rep was quick and efficient. We were on our way in no time. We wanted to upgrade, get a larger trailer, next size up. No problem! The trailer was relatively clean, not spotless (bell pepper in one corner), but no complaints. Not true of drop off in Madison.

suppose to be open, but closed did not answer posted phone numbers (two different listed) I call u-haul HQ in Phoenix to get instructions as to what to do; spoke to a Cyndi OLSBERG. Very professional and helpful! Gave me instructions as to what to do. Give her a raise!

I only added 6 miles to the odometer, but got charged for 3 gallons of gas. And no I didn't have the truck running for any period of time other than moving it. Find a better way to measure fuel or get trucks that get more than "2 mpg".

The staff was very helpful, friendly and prompt with getting the paperwork done and trailer hooked up so I could get on my way. The single axle enclosed trailer did not pull very well when empty. The lack of any tongue weight combined with concrete highways had it bouncing completely off the ground when empty. Fortunately I was able to add some weight to the front to make it safer to pull at highway speeds until I got to my destination. Once loaded the trailer pulled fine.

We have been using the U-Haul rental out of Appleton Area Storage on Mayflower Drive for years and have had zero problems. After arranging our rental with them, we started receiving calls from the Mark's location with the wrong pick up time and wrong order. I spoke with John at AAS and he changed our pick up time and made it a 24 hour rental, not a 48 hour rental. The morning of pick up we were receiving calls from multiple people asking to cancel our rental as we had missed the 830am pick up (which was the wrong time, which we had changed with John days before). I spoke with a man from Mark's about the change and he said it was fine. About an hour later I received a call from a woman who didn't know about the change. This is clearly a rental system issue that U-Haul needs to work on.

Was charger for 4 gallons of fuel I never used! At price of 16 dollars I drove the truck 8 miles thats not even a full tank of fuel! At a dollar a mile! That's right there pays for two gallons I was never told I had to put more fuel in the truck then what I used! Also the check in at this location is guess where the keys are? Doors unlocked and under driver seat. Was never told that and the video online says there is a key code lock box. Not here no one answered when we called either it was gaint guessing game.

My total charged on the receipt was $82. I could not get my card to run so I was going to pay cash. She said I had to pay $200 cash then. I used a friend's card and it $114. That doesn't make sense. You should not give a quote online and then require that much extra money on the spot. There were still soda bottles from the last renter in the cab. The Tow light kept coming on. I turned it off several times. I tried to call Mark's as soon as I left to ask about the light and no one answered. They need to have a phone that is actually answered if they are renting equipment.

They told me that the gas tank was full and to please fill it when I got back I put 21 miles on the truck and when I went to go fill it it took 6 1/2 gallons of gas so obviously the person before me did not fill it up should not of been my responsibility
