I was charged $222.44 which was ok didn't use any acquitment put a half a tank of gas back in as told for returning truck and paid $14.00 insurance clean truck out brought truck back at 10:45pm -11pm on time put keys in Dropbox check with my bank which was a pending deposit of the $222.44 amount was taken out later called bank again amount of $317.48 was taken out of my account call uhaul spoke with NA I was trying to ask her about the situation she stated I call you back but never did I was told that uhaul is supposed to credit that back to my account now my account is in a negative blanance of $317.48 that was over drawn from my account and I've never over drawn from my account ever and wasn't give any knowledge of any of these transactions until I spoken with my bank and I need some action taken upon this matter seems if they have stolen money out my account with out my knowledge and without the money being there $317.48 will like it back and file a complaints location Willow in Antioch

Prior to the U-Haul pick up on Willow, I was under the impression of the location chosen in advance on Railroad. It was changed by someone from U-Haul without my consent. Due to the last minute change it caused a stressful trip since the location desired closed at 6 pm and the new location was closing at 5 pm. The service she provided was absolutely amazing as she stayed till 6 pm until i arrived. I appreciate the customer service she gave me since there was a change in pick up last minute and understood that I wasn't going to be able to pick up the U-Haul by 5 pm.

It's located on private property. There was ONE person working, she was rude. It felt very uncomfortable to be on someone's private property to pick up a truck. And I was still overcharged at the end of the day, so yeah, no.

This relates to the people at the 114 Railroad location. The people at the Willow Ave location were awesome and super helpful. The Railroad location was terrible. First, I went to the wrong location because the person who was supposed to call me and confirm never did, however he lied and put that he spoke to me on the phone. When we finally got there, they didn’t have the truck I reserved, and the guy said that my reservation was actually for the Sunset ave location. So we drive to that one only to find out they didn’t have our reservation and the guy completely made it up because he had given away our truck. The lady at Sunset was super helpful however and secured a new truck for us at Willow. All in all we went to four different places and wasted hours of time only to end up with a truck 5 feet smaller than what I originally reserved. Lesson learned never ever go to the Railroad location and call instead of making a reservation online.

Not only was my truck not located (even though it was gaurenteed to be there) at this location but the employees here did zero to help accommodate me. I had to Uber to ANOTHER location where there were. I blankets or dollies available and made me over an hour late for my movers. Employees were rude and dismissive. Exact words “that guy really fucked you” in reference to the fact that they booked a drop off and pick up at the same time and that the drop off never happened.

I was charged a $150 missing/damage fee for an undisclosed reason that Inwas not made aware of. There was nothing damaged or missing from the truck that I rented. I submitted all required photos upon return through the U-Haul app. I have called the U haul customer service line and was kept on hold for a very long time. This is not the first time that I’ve had issues with local locations that work with UHaul rental equipment. I am deleting my account and will no longer use U haul for my rental needs.

My reservation was made for another location nearer my home but I could not rent the truck at that location because the lock combo was not entered into your system, meaning I wasted 2 hours of time (and the time of my waiting helpers) while your customer service could not access the combo. Also, it was assumed I could go to that initial location and complete my rental using a smartphone, which I do not own. I had to borrow my wife's phone, run home to forward the e-mail to her phone, then waste time while going thru the self-service steps . . . . and in the end having to run to the new location to get a truck.

When doing a 24/7 pickup have clear instructions and make sure that the keys are where they're supposed to be the keys were not under the seat which was an inconvenience also the customer service line wait time for way too long I was on hold for almost 30 minutes before I spoke to a live person

Online, they posted their hours were 9-12 on Sunday but they didn’t show up until 10. The guy that helped me told me “it’s my wife’s birthday, she said 10.” I don’t appreciate having to wait.

Although the branch that I rented from was fine, I was pretty upset that the branch I reserved a truck with didn’t have a truck of the size I needed, so they took it upon themselves to reserve for me at a place over 8 miles away rather than bringing a truck to the location that I needed. It costed me a bit more time and money, because the original branch was right between my old home and new home. And they’re within a mile of each other. Super inconvenient. Next time I’ll probably go with another company.

They charge me $10.5 for gas although I returned the truck at the same gas level I received. So this should not be charged. I did not want to call and argue for $10 but I do not recommend to any friend.

I was disappointed that I didn't get a 15' truck that I feel I was duped into thinking I had reserved. ? Apparently the fine print of my online reservation doesn't guarantee anything. In fact the only option I had was to drive to another uhaul location 30 miles away and pick up 10'. The customer service was good overall.
