So I was really pleased with the tow dolly but it wouldn't be nice because I went from Anderson and I ended up in Charleston but I could have just dropped it off at a 24-hour full no fee it was just a car dolly

I want to start by saying that I very rarely write reviews of my experiences with customer service. I tend to respect all customer service representatives being a firm believer in you get what you give in primarily ALL customer/worker relations. This particular transaction at the Liberty Hwy U-Haul pickup at Liberty Food Mart BP was deplorable. The date of service was 2/24/2018 at 12:00pm. My name is LaShella Ellis and I made a reservation on line for a 10' truck to be picked up at 12:00pm. I was expecting a very simple transaction having arrived early to pick up the truck. I would also like to add that the U-Haul server/system was down on this particular day. And I was totally understanding that this was not at all the clerks fault who was assisting us. However, the young woman who served as cashier and U-Haul representative at this location was unprofessional, extremely rude, and hurtful in her dealings with me. She did not verify my reservation, sent me to another location only to find I should have in fact picked up with her. And when I returned she was extremely off putting in her demeanor, agitated, disrespectful, she refused to wait on me, and she even called traffic and lied saying she could not locate the key to the truck in order to re-route me again to another location so that she would not have to wait on me. I have never been so disrespected. She continued her blatant frustrations with the situation by bad mouthing me to the other patrons in the store. It was unbelievable. The young woman I feel hoped to drive me to frustration so that I would leave in a huff and go somewhere else. I did not. I waited until she was fully calm in order for her to complete the transaction; and that was approximately 45 minutes. This exchange should have taken no more than 5 minutes. Although a large inventory of trailers on hand, NOBODY was available to help me lift the tongue of the 6x12 trailer. Woman at counter said she was there alone, and I would have to ask a gas station customer to help when one came along (which I did). Also, she had to hand me her phone to speak to someone about paying for the rental, as well as which trailer # I was to take. Have rented many times from U-Haul over the years, and have always been assisted both picking up and returning.

I was given the options at point of rental to drop at alternate locations at a reduced amount. I agreed to drop close to my destination due to time restraints and not take the lower priced options. When i called for my drop location I was forced to return 18 miles away at no reduction in price. The location was not staffed by a uhaul rep, I was put on the phone with a rep and the truck was not checked for damages and I had to get mileage and all handled by my self. I want reduction in my rent to compensate for my time, mileage and also increase fuel cost.

Was unable to fuel up at location when the truck was returned after hours. It was annoying to have to go to another gas station to buy my fuel and then return to drop off the truck.

Pickup got moved to this location so I had to drive and pay for additional 10 miles each way. Personal pointed me at wrong truck and seemed unfamiliar with the whole rental procedure.

I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. Went to pick up truck that I reserved a week prior. We when arrived at the location @ 7:00am no truck. Once a Uhaul representative became available it was 10:00am then we had to go to a location that was 20 miles further. Once there no one knew what I was talking abt even after the Uhaul rep told me that my truck would be there and ready. By this time it's 11:30 and still no truck. All the while my movers are waiting. Now we have to agree to rent to truck for 2 days instead of 1 and now we have to pay $100 instead of $59 that I originally agreed to. Once I returned the truck, a day early, I still had to pay the $100 plus I was informed that I went over my miles so I was charged again!!! $28 more. Your customer service stinks, your business is run poorly and I will never use your company again. BEWARE DO NOT USE UHAUL!!
