The woman who checked me in at the Anderson location was very unprofessional and rude. When I was trying to ask a question about why I had to give her two cards when it took off the one on file she interrupted me and she pointed to the paperwork and said this explains it all not one but twice. When I was expected the truck there were someone's pill box left along with a color book. I tell you this due to the safety if there had been somes small child riding and got a hold of those.
Chelsea R.Is our truck cost $681 to drive from Anderson South Carolina to Alpena Michigan, The toe Dolly we ordered for $95 had a broken emergency brake cable, When we Rented the toad alley we were charged $585 to take it!!! Basically a $100 less than renting a 26 foot truck!!! Was extremely upset!!! But we had to rent it we were towing my mother's car!!🤬
Greg H.I set an appointment and had to wait for an hour and a half just to get it and when I got it maybe 30 minutes down the road the breaks on the trailer messed up on me so I had to get roadside assistance and had to wait till the next day just to get it fixed literally an hour before it had to be returned so I didn't even get to use it. The man who fixed it told me that he could tell that the breaking mechanism had been messed up for a while and they just let me rent it when it was messed up.

Had an issue last time I dropped off with her but overlooked it but will definitely never use her again, renting from or dropping off. Rude and unprofessional! If Uhaul doesn't contact me soon to correct this I'm going to dispute the charges with AMEX.

Spoke to someone on the phone and they assured me it was only a hold and the final amount would be the total charged but instead the whole $278 settled on my account. I did not drive or use the uhaul $278 worth of miles. Had I know this was going to happen I would've used a different location. Where is my $200 “ deposit “ and why was I charged so much? Truck was left with the exact amount of gas I started, dolly returned, truck in the same shape and I purchased the insurance so what is the point of purchasing insurance if they just stole my money as a “ deposit “

Uhaul arranged for a truck from Liberty Food Mart BP. They were able to help me immediately and they were very professional and kind.
Jill G.My wife had just rented the same UHaul size on July 8th and paid $65.06. The only extra purchased this time was for the dolly which was for $10. The mileage was shorter distance this time. So, why was I charged 98.17? I really liked the service location. However, I don't understand the difference of $33.17? I even put the more gas than was originally in the UHaul

Otherwise the move, the truck, and the value was great. I would use U-Haul again, but with a different pick up location.

Jon W.The woman here automatically rented us the most expensive truck that was far too large for our needs and a safety hazard to drive. She claimed all the other trucks at the location were damaged or broken down, despite them being marked "available" on the website.
Matthew P.Lady was very rude; upon return the lady tried to charge me for extra stuff like fuel and and after hours service fee. When I question her she told me I would have to take it up with U-Haul customer service that it wasn't her problem. The customer service agent was very nice and helpful and got the issues resolved quickly and reimbursed me for the charges that the lady at the drop off location added. I would not recommend renting from this location due to their lack of customer service and they don't clean the vehicles if they come back dirty they tell you it's not thei job or problem.

Buford C.I didn't receive rules and regulations document to my email but I did get it on text message. However, it disappeared shortly after. I would have expected to get an itemized list of my bill to see how final cost was determined and there needs to be a way the customer can call and talk to owner directly without going to store. I don't know why I was charged so much. Only had truck 6hrs, replaced gas with extra, cleaned truck before return. Would be good to have information on how you calculated my total cost. Itemized reciept of total charges need to be sent to costumers for fair and honest practices. I don't and can't refer this business to anyone accurately without full transparency.

Logan B.I ordered the twelve blanket bundle with my rental and when I picked it up, there were no blankets available. I was told to drive around to Home Depot or other uhaul locations to find some. Driving around the region looking for blankets while being charged for mileage and fuel is bad business, not to mention the time and stress.
Christopher S.I paid for appliance dolly but was only giving a utility dolly bc its all they had,and price wasnt adjusted for it ...the cashier was facetiming family the whole time and wasn't sure how to process it so had to call his boss to get step by step...after i returned it on time to loaction i got it from, i got a call from another store saying my reservation was sent to them for some reason and i was late so i had to call customer services to fix problem to avoid late return fees. Was a very big hassel from start to finish. Would not recommend. Price wise was good just everything else was a headache.
Shantia L.When I picked the truck up and put gas in it, it was pouring gas out all over the ground for some reason, which cost me extra money.. it eventually stopped. The woman told me it was fine and not to worry about it. Having no other trucks in the area for like 50 miles I had no choice but to take that truck tires on the rear of the truck seemed slick not the best U-Haul experience I have had, hopefully U-Haul will make it right on the next truck I rent

No help offered to lift and set on trailer hitch also added the insurance to the bill and didn't ask if I wanted or explain anything. Equipment was in good shape and worked as needed, no issues there.
MARK T.The communication between the person who runs the uhaul side of this business and the customer needs to be better. I rented the uhaul for 1 day and was charged for 2 because of a miscommunication. I was told by the woman behind the counter I had until 9pm the next day to return the truck which wasn't true. I rented the truck at 2:45 pm on Wednesday and returned it at 5 pm the next day.. I would have gotten it back by 2:45 if I would have known. Better luck next time to me I guess.

Barry K.Ordered a cart. It was not in the truck or available at the pickup site. Placed order at one facility but was sent to a different one for pickup. Clerk at time of pickup was rude. Vehicle had water in back of truck. Had to put tarp down to keep items dry. Either the battery or starter is going in vehicle. Had trouble starting numerous times. Clerk at time of vehicle return was wonderful and the ONLY reason for three stars.

DAVID R.Units do not appear to be inspected. Had to go through 3 trailers to find one I could use. The 1st trailer did not have a connecting hook on the chain, the 2nd trailer had a visible screw in the tire and the third trailer I did use but the tires were getting close to needing to be replaced.

oliverto M.I was supposed to pick up trailer at Midgard in Anderson SC. When I got there, I was informed that uHaul was supposed to call me because Midgard didn't have the trailer. UHaul failed to call. After I drove across town, entered the gas station, the attendant handed me a portable phone with a man online. He sent me a text and asked me to send over my DL and then told me to go find a specific trailer. After searching the lot, with no assistance, the trailer wasn't there. I sent him a text message that he didn't respond to. I had to walk into the gas station again and have the attendant call him back and he gave me another trailer. There was no one present to assist with picking the trailer up and placing it on the truck, zero assistance in hooking the trailer up. I was initially supposed to pick up the trailer at 4:30 and at 5:45, I finally had the trailer on the truck. When I got home, the trailer was covered in sand and dirt inside and had to be swept out. Terrible experience. If I have to utilize Liberty Food Mart BP for uHaul pick up again, I will not use UHaul. A compete customer service overhaul should take place there.

REZSAUN L.Customer no service and the worst drop off location ever! Owner initially did not want to accept trailer despite it being the drop off location in the contract. Owner then refused to help unhook trailer, instead stating if I needed help I needed to go to another location. Rude, unprofessional, uncaring, and embarrassment to U-Haul. Franchise should one pulled. I would avoid this location at all costs as you will be disappointed!!
