The employees at this location were arguing with each other back and forth with a line of customers waiting. Completely unorganized and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this location to anyone as the experience at this location was less than favorable.

Poor costumer service. When returns the truck make sure you take dashboard photos to records the gas gage and the mileage otherwise you wouldn’t have a proof if they charge you for something different than what you excepted

I hand piicked through the furniture dollys because some off them are dirty and I learned this through past experience. some require repairs, such as the protective covering over the bolt heads. these are furniture dollys and mostly used for moving furniture; they should be clean and serviceable.

Difficult to park and get your rental out of the parking lot. Some of the returns should be in an overflow lane behind the building to keep traffic moving.

I was able to easily drop off the truck without issue, and the general manager was kind enough to speak with me about scheduling an appointment for the installation of a hitch that was supposed to have taken place in Fairbanks. Veronica listened and validated my concerns and experience with the Fairbanks store as unusual, and she took steps to coordinate the service I needed for my next move.

Reserving was smooth. Pick up was smooth. Drooping off was not. I waited in live for 35 minutes to checkout. Which made me miss my ride home. I had to pay for an Uber instead. I was told I would receive the final bill in 30 minutes. 4 hours later, no final bill. After speaking with a rep, I come to find that my bill is $100.00 more than it's suppose to be. After everything settles I look in my bank account and it's a mess from 1 authorization, 5 charges and 4 credits :(

Maybe set up a temporary wifi password so the 24/7 returns can upload the info and pictures without disconnecting on GCI data repeatedly :-/

When I went to rent the vehicle, there were 50 more miles listed as the outgoing mileage on the contract than were on the odometer ! When I asked for a correction, I was told that it would be adjusted upon my return. When I returned the vehicle the next day, there were 2 people ahead of me at the counter so I started a line. I stood there for 50 minutes waiting for the counter people to unsnarl a problem over a reservation for one couple at the counter and an EXCESSIVELY long time to get the other couple a rental. When I finally got to the counter, the person" helping" the couple with the reservation had left her position empty and the young man helping me did not know how to make the mileage correction on my contract, though I had only driven the van 10 miles. Though he radioed for help, no one came. Now there was one person at the counter stymied as to what to do and a line of more than a dozen people lined up to conduct business ! I waited an additional 17 minutes to get my contract corrected and get a receipt when someone FINALLY came to his rescue. All this after I had waited almost 15 minutes to have someone check me in, though I was the first (and only) person in that line. Your folks at this location need SERIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE training ! I will never use this location again, though it is the closest one to my home !

better communication, train staff a whole better, and ANSWER THE PHONE I was put on hold 3 times for approximately 10 minutes each and then just gave up, THIS IS STORE IS RUN REALLY POORELY it seems as though there just trying to rent as much and as fast as possible and worry about mistakes later, but mistakes are to high, UHAUL Should be ashamed of this store.

I learned that the van I picked up did not lock once it was loaded and we were on our way to our wedding in Alaska. Had to unload everything to keep it safe. The following morning I call the anchorage location from 7am-9:30am until I was able to get there. Once there was told they don’t answer the phones. Van was swapped quickly. The following morning I got a call say the van that I dropped off was damaged when it never was by me or even inspected by location when I dropped it off. The women on the phone was of no help or understanding. I’m sure it happens in the uhaul parking after I left because the place was a circus. I’m sparing details but in all it was the worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever had.

Had a problem with the fuel amount registered. Tried to call. I called 4 times and sat on hold for a long time. Never did have anyone pick up. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE! If you answer the phone, I would probably recommend you.

I was traveling from Anchorage, Ak to Rapid City, SD. I should have been given a newer truck that was clean and ready to go. Instead I was given a older truck, that was dirty, had bug splatter all over the front of the truck including the windshield. Not good.

I booked a 17’ truck one month in advance. A few days before my move, I received a text informing me that the 17’ truck was unavailable for my requested day, so I could rent a 20’ truck for the same price. On the day of my move, an associate called me to inform me that now my 20’ truck was unavailable, so I would have to use a 15’ truck. I found this location to be unprepared and disorganized; when someone books a truck a month in advance, there should not be this many issues with availability.
