I would recommend if the gas tank really was full when it was picked up. Customer is expected to fill tank. Problem is, they are not checked...just if the gauge is on the â€œFâ€ if you are an honest customer and fill your tank on return, you get screwed. This location should top off tank, give full tank to new customer and charge the top off to previous customer. My 17.2 mile rental cost me 5.55 gal of fuel in a 15' box van. Not cool Old Seward UHaul...not cool.

The kid that checked the truck in was great. Other than that, a bunch of idiots here. I will not ever have anything to do with this location again. And I will tell as many people as I can. I'm 55, a life long Alaskan, and a business owner.
the truck I was given only averaged 5.1 miles per gallon. I drove 46 miles I put in 7.4 gallons of gas and was charged for another 1.5 gallons of gas; your truck took 8.9 gallons of gas to drive 46 miles. when I googled the average mileage of a 10 foot uhaul it said the average is 8 to 12 miles per gallon. I did not get even close to that for mileage; For mileage to be so low it has to be a mechanical issue not of my fault. Uhaul is a rip off and I will never rent another vehicle from this company.
I was lied to, and the CSR guy raised his voice at me like I had stolen his equipment. He would not listen to the events which surrounded my rental and continued repeatedly telling me i was an illegal driver. I could not have gotten the keys for the truck unless someone from UHAUL had not authorized and approved me. I DID NOT STEAL OR MISREPRESENT ANYTHING.

Check warning lights on dashboard make sure there's none on before turning it over to a customer, the dripping light was on I'm guessing it's a sensor, but wasn't listed as approved on the checklist for customer to check mark that as one of the items Uhaul is aware of. The waiting period for equipment return lane was too long, no one outside to meet us upon arrival during business hours, the sign says to wait in our equipment upon arrival for return, since there was no one around, I went inside to stand in line before my return time is up. One of the employees finally came to the vehicle after 15-20 min. waiting in the truck so I had to get out and walked inside the store and got back outside. The line waiting in the store is also too long, one person at the counter handling customers for over than 15 min is kinda awful, probably need to have multiple people with this busy location I'm sure. The Uhaul truck I picked saved me from multiple trips, it was a one time only trip. One of the best thing I like about Uhaul, low and affordable pricing and I am happy with how they handled initial order/reservation processing every time I rented there.
I was over charged. And when I called this morning inquiring why I was over charged, I was told that I did not put gas in the vehicle when I returned it. I am so disappointed because when I pick up the vehicle it was not on full tank and when I returned the vehicle I put a full thank of gas. I do not understand what type of scam is going on. I have been renting from Uhaul for many years and never had an issue. I know the drill. I went out of my way to put a full tank of gas and am being told I did not put gas in the vehicle. Usually I wait until they check me out but the lady told me you can leave and we will email you your receipt and then they over charged me. Out of principal, I want to be refunded for the gas they charged me because what they are saying is not true.. It's a flat out lie. Thanks, Amadou.
I did after-hours drop off, which was easy using the online prompts. There was no signage indicating where I should park, so I left the truck in the vehicle return lane.

Returning was too impersonal. Basically, it was, :"give me the keys and we'll email the receipt. Goodbye."
The owner helped us get checked out. He was great, the process at the register was quick and helpful. We had an unavoidable delay in returning the truck. I called Uhaul 10 minutes before our reservation ended, it was no problem they extended our reservation free of charge for the 2 additional hours we requested. Another representative called and confirmed that the reservation was extended, I appreciated that! I've used this location a number of times (and will continue to do so), there always seems to be more customers than employees. So, if you're on a schedule go early to give yourself extra time to get your truck. The online checkout didn't work for me, it could have been user error. I wish there was an app or a more user friendly way to pickup/checkout online. Overall a good experience; everyone was helpful, truck was clean and worked well, extended reserved time free of charge. Thank you!
Smooth move. Because of Covid We did clean the steering wheel and the rag was very dark afterwards.
I selected mobile pick up to streamline the process and avoid waiting in lines or doing extra steps as I was on a tight schedule but when I arrived and checked in, the map of the lot was inaccurate and I ended up having to go inside and wait in line to ask for better directions to the truck. It was literally the farthest vehicle away from the building at the very back of the lot, which would have been fine, except that the staff did not tell me I would need to pick up the key inside the store and sent me all the way across the property only to have to come all the way back to get the key and go back to the truck. I hope to not need to move again for a very long time but if I did need a U-Haul again, I wouldn't go to this location and I wouldn't do mobile pick up.
Had to redo things already done on line, so took longer to rent than it should have. Fuel tank was not completely full, so it is difficult to match the level on return. My guess is that is your way to make more profit as renters will tend to overfill to make sure it matches. Upon return, was not sure what to do. A worker rudely told me to just leave since the transaction was online. I had more mileage than I put down originally so thought I needed to talk with someone. It would be nice to not be treated as if I were ignorant.

EZ Breezy... staff was courteous, helpful and efficient. Return was fast and simple. And email receipt was on the money and accurate.

I got charged for gas when gas wasn't in a full tank. They never once told me to check and verify anything. I did replace gas
Tires for Alaskan winters need to be better. I was in danger several times in just hours because I could not get traction at intersections or hills. The moving van slid sideways at one point going down a hill. So I suggest studded tires for winter. Also I was charged for SafeMove of $14. I never asked for this to be added. To top it off I had to clean the steering wheel because it felt gross. I went through 4 wipes. They were all brown when I was done.
Give the client the option to rent the vehicle to include a driver.
