When I arrived at the store no one was inside at the front counter. I had to go back outside to find an employee, only to find them directly outside socializing with each other. They had seen me through the window but did not come to my assistance until I engaged with them. Once one of the employees came inside to the counter and got me checked out with a vehicle, the process and customer service was very good.

Hire more employees. The wait times are rediculous and now I got a call that says my truck is due back when its been over a week since I returned it. What the hell is going on with you people?

the only problem at this location is often the long lines with only one person at the counter. I suggest that once there are two or more waiting for service, a call sends down at least one more person to rent the vans.

Customer service was not pleasant at all. The clerks were not very friendly at all, I have worked customer service for years and i would have written up employees for being rude and unfriendly. The truck photos were not up to date on the wear and tear, there were a lot more dents and the bumper was cracked.

I had a problem with the foot feed too close to the brake pedal...I nearly had a wreck because my foot went from the foot feed to the brake I was able to touch the foot feed as well,

The guy with the beard kissed another guy in front of me,that was very unprofessional and he asked me how many miles to put down and I said 100 and he put down 30 and when I brought it back I had to pay 87 bucks for over milage,u haul is a rip off!! Get a rental somewhere else

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AS MY BOOKING WAS A LITTLE COMPLICATED, BUT THE REP STAYED WITH ME ON THE LINE IN THE FREEZING DARK PARKING LOT UNTIL IT WAS FIGURED OUT AND THE CODE WAS RELEASED SO I COULD DRIVE 3 MORE HOURS UP INTO THE WILDS OF ALASKA! THXXX, GOOD JOB OVERALL AFTER THE FIRST HICCUP! I WILL RENT AGAIN FOR SURE!

I reserved a small 10’ truck for 3 days from the Boniface location and only drove 43 miles. On the morning of the rental pick up I received a call from Uhaul asking if I was given a 50 mile credit could I return the truck to the Old Seward location instead. I happily agreed to accommodate. I originally started out with an online virtual rental to speed up the pick up process but it failed on two attempts so we had to go into the store physically. Computer issue/failure #1 The attendant working and Veronica the manager were very nice and helpful. However, the system kept incorrectly charging us for a one day rental causing the roughly $70 charge to come out to almost $300. Veronica spent some time on the phone, I assume with corporate to get them to manually adjust the rate correctly. After an hour sitting there they were able to fix it to just over $40. By this time it is almost 6pm and pitch black outside and the attendant had already pulled the truck up and left it running. It was rented to us with less than 1/4 tank of gas. Knowing at this point we are in a hurry to get where we need to be, Veronica apologizes for how long it all took and that the gas was so low and said if returned with 1/4 tank it would be ok. And she sent us on her way and no one accompanied us to the truck or mentioned any kind of walkthrough done physically and no mention to look for a link in text messages to upload pictures of damages, which would have been difficult to do since it was now almost 6pm and it was now pitch dark outside. And how about those that don’t have reliable phones/service?? None of this was mentioned and I didn’t get any text message. I assume computer issue failure #2! While using the vehicle we only loaded with boxes of tshirts and drove straight to Eagle River for our fundraising youth basketball tournament and parked the truck for two nights in a wide open well-lit parking lot where it didn’t move again until we went to return it. It was returned with more gas then given to us to start as well as an hour earlier than required. After the return we received an email that we were charged $275 for damages that there is absolutely no way occurred from us! Spoke with Jasmine, assistant manager at Old Seward store and explained my whole scenario and that there was no way any damages occurred from us! She was very rude and dismissive and explained that I should have Received a link to upload pictures of damages and verify. But this was the first and only time I had heard of receiving a link which I explained. She said well, there’s nothing she can do if I didn’t click on the link to verify no damages. No apology or acceptance from her on Uhaul’s responsibility to customer service and ensuring the customer understands the process and the consequences if the process is not followed. I am just left to pay for damages that I did not do! I’m also left with having to take even more time out of my schedule to talk to people who are not helpful and will have

I returned the van on Sunday , being charged until Wednesday and for extra miles, and gas. After spending 2 hours on the phone yesterday I’m still waiting for a manager to get back to me about fixing this problem
