Have yet to receive a receipt via e-mail. There was a discrepancy with the amount of gas in the tank (gas gauge indication) and what the employee indicated on the agreement. Please forward the receipt.

Mileage off by 29. Escpepiqcllt bad when you pay extra for mileage. Customer service was poor. No paperwork for pre existing damage. Gas gauge from vehicle to contract off by 15 dolllars. Dirty interior. No washer fluid. Bad wiper blades. Smelled like smoke. 17ft was told is being phased out or sold. Maintain your equipment new or used. Absolutely disgraceful business. Please review your customer service and maintainers. Not a lot going good for you guys. Good luck in the future

I originally reserved the unit online weeks in advance to pick up in Seward. My wife called Seward 5 days in advance of the pickup date and they had no idea that we had equipment reserved, and we were told they would not even have the 20’ truck available we thought we had reserved. Additionally, they said no one would be there for us to pick up the vehicle on Saturday anyway. I thought that’s what the app I downloaded was for. Good thing we called to check. Big communication breakdown between the website and the Seward store. My wife then called the main U-Haul number and they were tremendously helpful. We were able to modify our original plans and switch to picking up the truck in Anchorage, where we wanted to drop off anyway. The Anchorage location was great. The only exception was as that The equipment checkout process is very lengthy. Just using the app would have been much faster. The Anchorage location should invest in locking gas caps however, as they appear to have an ongoing fuel theft problem.

I rented a 10’ van and I was surprised that the loading dock didn’t have any kind of grip and was very slick when wet, also no warning signage of it being slippery. I went to step up into the back of the truck and slipped off the loading dock and both my legs are bruised. I mentioned that to the person I checked the van back in with but they just shrugged it off. I’d like to speak with someone in management about this.

It would have been nice to know that the 10 foot box van doesn't have a ramp. I was moving a piano when I found out. Also the truck didn't have studs on. I was on the hillside.

The seat belt was not working properly. I notified an employee, Rosie, and he whacked the buckle a few times and said it would work and they would replace the part when I returned. Each time I buckled the belt I had to try multiple times before it would stay fastened and I was never sure if it would hold. After I returned the vehicle I was unclear about the charges, so I called to ask questions. I spoke to Tim, and he did not provide relevant answers to my questions. The information he did give was contradictory. When I asked clarifying questions he quickly became aggressive and then accused me of not listening. I was charged for fuel even though I returned the car with more fuel than it had at pickup, even though Rosie told me I would get an $18 credit if I returned the car with the same amount of fuel. At this time the charges have not be accurately settled. Please contact me to correct the bill.

Made phone reservation online. Did not have the right equipment when I arrived from what phone agent told me. Rental process took excessively long and the step of calling a second point of contact is ridiculous. I'll never rent from U-haul again because of that alone. Counter person was socially awkward. Did not get promised e-mail receipt. Very dissatisfied.

Truck was clean but not well maintained. Front tires had very low tread and front wheels seemed to wander around - I had to constantly turn them left or right to stay on the road. Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was very busy so they were hustling to keep the paper work flowing. Plenty of supplies plus some free containers which saved me a lot of money. Thanks.

The lady at the front desk that helped me was amazing. Possibly try to increase the speed of service for costumers that did everything online before they came in. Im not sure as ro why you can do everything online if you just have to do it again once youre in the store.

After I return my rental trailer, the corporate office called me twice once a day for two days after returning the trailer. Both times they asked me when I was going to return the trailer. Finally I had to drive down to the old Seward location to ask for a receipt showing the return of the trailer. The people at server helpful enough, but I think corporate needs to get their shit together.

Your staff at this location are extremely friendly courteous and above all else professionals. Moving is stressful time and they treated everyone with a smile even when a customer started screaming. called to tell me truck not available, yet it was. Called to tell me truck was late 24 hours into a 72 hour rental. OVERCHARGED at checkout and charged a cleaning fee though returned it cleaner than I got it. Horrible service

We had a reservation the guy that helped us had no idea what he was doing then we drive over to our move destination and loaded up. When we went to leave the battery was dead. Union examination the batterie cables where loose and corroded We had to go get cables. Nonin the truck. When we told the counter guy in anchorage he said it was up to us to check out of the maintenance on the vehicle before we drive it away. Really ? The guy at the counter was rude and could not check the moving blankets back in had no idea what he was doing. We have lived in Anchorage 35 years used your services lots never again.

The woman on the phone kept cutting my off. I had lots of questions because I had never used Uhaul before. All she really cared about was getting my card information and didn’t care about what I was asking her. She also told me my reservation was for a 17 foot van and when we arrived our only option was a 15 foot van. AND I asked for our time to be set from 8 am - 5pm and she only reserved it until 2. Terrible customer service.
