Ryan was so helpful and he gave me a dolly to use cuz I was moving up three flights of stairs but I can't use it cuz the dolly was pure metal. He was so nice and he was helping 3 others when I arrived but like was super nice about it all. Person at facility was not very friendly. I had a 1 7/8 ball and not a 2" ball and aske if I needed to put a 2" ball on. Response was the 1 7/8 ball would probably be ok...NOT the answer you expect from a professional. got a 2" ball but didn't have wrench to change it out. She provided channel locks that didn't do it and no further assistance. Ended up going to muffler shop to get the ball removed and then Auto Zone to get a wrench to change it out.Kenneth T.

During the winter I suggest opening up the back door just before giving it to the customer. Sometimes ice forms making the back door difficult to raise, so I suggest opening door on the customers' behalf prior to their pick up so that way the hard work is already done, and customer can lift the door on their own with easeTaryn E.

I've been there the past 2 days and the guy that helped me with my storage (again, I'm really sorry, I can't remember his name) was absolutely fantastic. Originally my storage was on the 3rd floor and he was able to help me get one on the 1st floor so it would be easier to load. He also came over to the units where the motorized door was to make sure the entry card worked so I wouldn't keep getting locked out. Today when I returned the truck, he make the whole process quick and easy plus he was able to help me secure another truck for when I move the storage out. I couldn't be happier with uhaul in Clearwater and Ames. (Also when I called the 1800 number in Clearwater, the customer service lady was great too).Monique M.
Check the truck over before allowing to be rented. No windshield wiper fluid, winter in IA/MN, unacceptable. Equipment I rented not included in the truck, had to drive be back to the location to get them. Truck had faulty front wheel bearing and was undriveable halfway through my trip. Awful experience. Truck had to be towed, we had to unload and reload a new truck, pickup location for the new new haul was unaware I was coming even though I was assured they would be called.Jennifer G.

Fix your app. When I returned the trailer I rented, I tried to return it online using the Uhaul app. I could not get it to work. It wouldn't let me add a picture of the trailer, but when I tried to proceed, it wouldn't let me without posting a picture. If you want people to use the app, make sure it works!Kevin P.
