Explain the fees a little better. I saw an after hours charge and mileage charge that wasn't explained to me. I thought we returned the truck before or right at 8pm.

Robinsons is always a nice place to shop.
Truck was covered with snow and I had to clean it myself. I was also charged for missing blankets, although they were never used nor missing. Had trouble dropping it off due to snow and was on hold for 45 minutes only for the woman on the phone to tell me there was nothing she could do and then I was charged the $20 convenience fee even though it was only an hour after I was supposed to return it (because of the snow).
Nothing. Staff, especially Ken, was very helpful. We made a last minute change to a larger vehicle with no problems.
The contact-free rental experience was completely negated by the need to physically enter the store location, travel through the entire store to the service desk in the back, to receive the key directly from the hand of a clerk with no sanitation for the key observed. You might as well opt to do the rental transaction face to face, since the contact-free rental process is time-consuming.
Cab valet and cupholders were filthy and I had to clean thoroughly before using. In the era of the pandemic, this made it much more imposing on me the renter. Also I returned the vehicle fully fueled, well-past the "F". When I picked the car up, the needle was above the "F" so I returned it w/more gas that picked up. Also, I'm very dissatisfied with the 2 day rental charge. I returned the car to the lot the evening before the return date, and at just after 7pm. I tried to execute the return by phone, per instructions, but the U-Haul app would not read the location, and thus, would not process it. I called U-Haul several times from the site to try to resolve it, and on the final call waited 15- 20 minutes with no customer service. I then departed with the truck locked at the return site, drove home for the night, had to return the next day arriving at the pickup location to turn in the key upon the store's opening. I request that you consider refunding the second day $19.99 fee.
I was overcharged on my credit card. I was quoted at $51 before I picked up the Uhaul van. I returned it with 4 less than miles than quoted at and you charged me $71! My bill says â€œ $1 environmental fee, $4 renters taxâ€ I'm sure these are just hidden bs fees you tack on without disclosing in the estimate, but what really upsets me a the $20 â€œafter hours service feeâ€. I returned the Uhaul 3 hours early, dropped the keys off at the service center inside the store hours before they closed, and confirmed when the Ace Hardware store employee that I wouldn't be charged specifically for a $20 after hours fee since they were still open and I returned it with half my time left. Please explain to my why this happened? When will my money be returned? If this is corrected than I will continue to do business with your company and will recommend your service to others in the future.
Your web based application does NOT work. I reserved a vehicle at this location the day before but when I went to pick up the vehicle, the UHaul app did not have my reservation in your system . So staff at this location had to process the transaction . Then when I returned the vehicle, the UHaul web app did allow me to return it. Again, staff at this location had to process the transaction. So your web based app failed completely .
The process of checking in and returning the vehicle through the self check-in does not work with Firefox mobile. Please add support for your website for Firefox.

I wouldn't recommend U Haul at all. All the cost are hidden. I didn't realize it was going to be so expensive. And I was never told when the truck needed to be returned. The smell of cigarettes in the truck was so strong that we had to drive with the windows fully open. It was honestly a horrible experience. This review doesn't have anything to do with Ace Hardware, they were very nice. Yes just feel financially, I was ripped off.
Overall I would rent from this location again, but the engine oil light was on where the mileage was so the only time you could see mileage is when turning vehicle on and off, so I think k they should check that stuff more often, obviously the oil was low or needed to be changed. Thankfully I had no problems with the vehicle.
I would recommend that Robinson Ace Hardware thoroughly clean the rental vehicles after each use. The cargo van we rented smelled like an animal farm. The driver and passenger seats were covered with animal hair. In addition, the cargo area floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Very disappointing.
They didn't check the truck in from the night before so it took me an hour to get the truck when I had scheduled it for 8:30 got there at 8:20 and didn't leave till 9:10. If anyone deserves that 50$ reservation guaranteed it should be me. I lost money from being late to the job I had reserved the truck for.
The staff was extremely rude.... And unhelpful... We were told to return the trailer to any location in Albany and was given a list of places.. when returning gave my boyfriend a hard time was rude and nasty.. throwing cones and stuff.. very unprofessional for a manager to act that way....
Customers have to check their invoice before and after very carefully. I was about to be charged for equipment I did not order, and was charged for two days even though I only had the van for 2-3 hours. $20 convenience fee? For what? I don't remember a Uhaul member helping me to move anything. Ill think twice before using Uhaul again.
I was old they do not sanitize vans between use , only buttons and controls. The entire vehicle should be sanitized, esp, when it comes frrom a state with high CovID. I;m. in NY,& van had AZ plates. Made me vert nervous.
It took me almost 40 minutes to pickup the truck as the employee was not sure how to do that.
I wanted to report I found a bag of money under the seat. I gave it a ace hardware employee. I hope it makes it back to the original owner. Thanks, Mary
Easy drop off, great location.
Online check in process sucks. Website to check in is not user friendly. Location services didn't work. Settings on phone were correct and not the issue. I'm mid 30s and can use technology. I had to go into the store both checking in and checking out. Defeats the purpose of Mobile Check in if the technology doesn't work
My contention is with what I was charged, versus what I agreed to pay. The figures on my bill were completely different than the numbers in my order confirmation. I have emailed this dispute, I do not know if it was UHaul or the ACE store that made the error in charges, I expect it to be resolved today.
Your 24/7 system is not great. I actually lost 1 hour out of my paid time trying to get my approval. Noone answered the phone and noone responded back to me via contact us on your site. I was very aggravated.
