Contacted uhaul via phone. Spoke to the site manager regarding a 2 day truck rental. After securing the reservation. He asked if we had any storage needs and quickly and clearly explained a special rate..1st month free! The rate after the free month was reasonable. We took the offer and used the storage unit for 2 months. Units were clean and uhaul even supplied the secure locks! Overall it was a very easy process to contract and close out. Well done. UHAUL!

DON P | First ImpressionsI had a great experience renting a storage space from Uhaul Old Bridge I had to find a place pretty quickly and it was really easy to find and reserve one online. And when we left Dan was so patient and helpful and I can't say enough how much I appreciate his help and patience. He really went above and beyond. It's been a very good experience.

CARL K | First Impressions1) The person in charge, Dan, was friendly and helpful. However, U-Haul in general (for example, your website) has done an extremely bad job at explaining the real difference between “reserving” and “renting” a storage unit. The detailed differences between the two terms weren’t apparent until I physically went to the office on my move-in day and Dan told me that the unit would be in my name because I was the one actually “renting” it, even though my brother had “reserved” it online several days ago. Dan also asked me to provide my card # for monthly charging, even though my brother had already given his card number during the online reservation process. Anyway, this whole discrepancy between “renting” and “reserving” was needlessly convoluted & confusing due to a lack of transparency on your website. 2) Not really sure what can be done about this, but the Route 9 North location in Old Bridge, NJ, is such that it’s very easy to completely block off the entire entrance to the site if even a single moving truck just stops at the office. The incoming ramp is very (single-lane) narrow, with car parking at the left side. My moving truck was blocked off from entering the storage unit by other trucks, which didn’t look like they cared much for the backup being caused, and this happened with other vehicles too. No one was there directing the backed up traffic. People just left their trucks wherever and went inside the rental office. 3) Your rates are very expensive. I found other options nearby for the same storage unit type/size that were $100/month cheaper. The only reason I stuck with U-Haul was due to the time crunch I was under.
