The one thing I'm frustrated about is the fact that I paid for the units, then decided we should get some moving boxes, and those boxes came with a one month free storage certificate that I couldn't use because it wasn't for a "new" unit. And the staff was like "Yeah, you could've used that if you'd bought the boxes first." That part was not cool. I also think units should be accessible later, until at least like midnight if not 24/7. I work until 8pm and it was tough to get anything done at the unit before 10pm. I showed up one night with a full load at like 10:15pm and couldn't drop it off. It's strange that even with security cards or a pin, you can't get to your unit 24/7.

Adam was extremely helpful in getting me transferred to a new unit and showing me how to arm\disarm the system to access the storage. I also received a courtesy call earlier in the day to confirm that I was still going to make my reservation. At that time I had mentioned my request for a street level unit and noticed upon my arrival there were notes regarding said request. I really do appreciate both of the employees doing their best to ensure that my experience and rental was a smooth and easy process and I appreciate their effort towards that.

John D | Overall ExperienceMost of the problems I had Uhaul storage at Dilworth MN location surfaced when I arrived to move my items out of storage 2/27 prior to next billing cycle/due date of 2/28. First, I forgot or could not locate my Uhaul disc lock key(s), so I could not enter my storage unit (I think #2335) on 2/27. So I walked on over to the office to get help breaking the lock off. No one was in the office to help me break off lock. The next day, 2/28 (Saturday) I come by Dilworth Uhaul office again around 2 pm. Ethan, a tall young blond/brown haired Uhaul employee was there. He told me he texted Isaisha Crawford, the general manager, but her phone was on silent. He told me he didn't know how to break lock off & that either Marcus or Isaisha needed to assist with this (with shop mtnc men). Ethan told me to come back the next day, 3/1 (Sunday). So, this caused me to be delayed by one day, which disrupted my other plans & ability to get my items out of storage on 2/27. Also, I don't live in Fargo Moorehead Dilworth area but do live 4-5 hours south. I had to drive up to take care of moving my belongings out, planning to spend no more than one night at a hotel in Fargo while doing this. Having to come back the next day, required me to stay another night in hotel as it would and did take several hours sorting through and removing/loading my belongings in vehicle to remove from storage unit, not leaving me enough time to drive back 2/28 4-5 hours South (home). On 3/1, the next day, I came by the Dilworth Uhaul office to again seek assistance to break my disk lock off my storage unit locker, but again, it was the Uhaul employee Ethan in the office.i came about 11:45 am. Ethan told me he called General manager Isaisha Crawford. After he got off phone he told me Anaisha (GM) was driving back to office, that she was at office earlier. Isaisha arrived back to Uhaul Dilworth office around 12:30-1 pm. I found out from Aniasha, as she came in office, without looking at me for most of time she was talking, in a drone like stressed hangdog look way, that she tried to break lock off (I have photo image) , drilled hole in it, but it didn't work, couldn't get lock off. I was appreciative of the effort but upset lock was still not broken off my storage unit so I could remove my storage items, especially having already been deleted 2 days. Aniasha told me I had to wait for her to talk to shop my c guys next day to see if they woukd break lock off then. I was not happy with answer, wanted more assurance/ details. Anaisha rudley went into to scold me in an exasperated rude condescending voice about how she already repeated what she told me about me having to wait yet another day (to 3/2, Monday). She then offered her business card for me to contact her but did tell me she would text me the next day (,tomorrow 3/2) when she found out if and when maintenance shop guys would remove/break my disk storage unit lock off. So, I am/had to wait yet another day for help to get my lock off. I had to pay for one more night at hotel as result I would not have had to pay if I had received good customer service from Uhaul. I did come back 3/2, Monday after I received text from Anaisha letting me know maintenance guys likely would have lock off by 11:30sh to 12 some pm. I came by Uhaul storage unit around 1 pm. The lock had finally been broken off & removed so that I could get my storage items moved out of my unit I am upset at the additional time/days I had to wait as well as additional expense of 2 more nights of a hotel stay I had to spend on, when I should have received help in short time 2/27 to break my Uhaul storage unit lock off. I would very much appreciate compensation for the additional time & expense caused for myself, a Uhaul customer, fr the very poor customer service I received from Uhaul staff at this Uhaul Dilworth storage unit location . I have used Uhaul for many moves in past (truck rentals) & storage units over the length of 2-3 decades, I will no longer do so

I was late paying my storage about every month I paid the late fees my choice, the staff took days to remove the locks, sometimes made me wait after I got to the storage days later after paying my units and wouldn’t remove the locks. The manager a lady from the cities was super rude, mean and swore at my daughter. She wouldn’t give me a unit the size that I rented I was forced to have two 10’x10’s instead of a 10’x20’ and I was charged for 6 months for a 10’x20’ unit which costs more than two 10’x10’ units. She came off the elevator one time screaming at me swearing and I didn’t have any contact with her prior. One time she was telling me about having sex with her husband in a car for no reason at all. U haul you need to change the management and a couple employees that don’t care about customer service they act like they are in charge of not just the units but peoples belongings. That plus being over charged over $200 in 5-6 months I was paying just under $300 a month. Horrible experience and will not recommend or rent from a place ran like that again not worth the amount, the way I was over charged and treated
