Tried to get the general manager to cut the lock off...I left the keys n the uhaul truck I rented....I called and a lady said she would have to gm call me cause he was the only one who can cut the lock off...never got the call...emailed and never received a reply...they didn't call me...until money was due...bad communication.....now i have lost the lil stuff I had...was not going to pay for another month...the first time I came in to rent my storage two employees was arguing n front of mang...he didn't say or do anything..just set there..
Willette H | Overall ExperienceI reserved a storage unit back in September 2024 because I knew I was moving in Jan. 2025 and would need 2 months of storage for my items. When I showed up to check in and receive my unit I was given a 5x10x10 climate controlled unit, like I reserved. However, after locating the unit I was given, there was still a lock on the unit (#857). I went back to the office and they said that meant someones stuff was still inside, and I was able to reserve it because it was marked as "moved out" in their system. I was then told they did not have any more 5x10x10 units available and after the employee called the GM, he said on the phone that a reservation does not guarantee a unit - then what is the point of making a reservation?? He also said he is unable to provide a 10x10 unit for the price of a 5x10, even though I specifically reserved a 5x10 and did not need the larger size or want to pay for it. He did offer the first month rent free (the phone was on speaker) but the lady helping me still ended up charging me. She was then quite rude when I asked why she charged me, since I heard the first month should be free, and told me "not to worry about it". The most upsetting part is they no longer had any climate controlled units and some of my items required that, so I was unable to store all of my items. Overall I was very disappointed in the disorganization on their end that caused this problem, and the lack of basic manners when trying to resolve it. I would definitely not recommend this location to anyone in need of storage, I'm sure you can find a more organized facility with better customer service elsewhere.

Erica H | Overall ExperienceThe only problem that I had was with the size of the unit that I was able to get. When I first rented the storage unit I rented a 10x10 but had to change to a 5x5 because that was the one I had to get for the free month storage offer. Well that size was two small for my queen size bed so I had to get the 10x10 which ended up costing me more money, that I was aware of when I first rented the unit but not upon arrival to Ohio. I guess all ended well with me getting the larger unit, it just was an inconvenience of having to come up with more money when I was already waiting on a refund from U-Haul for the first tracker rental. Long story short, it wasn't the fault of U-Haul in Ohio, they were great, the problem was with the online booking. Very stressful.

JASON M | Overall ExperienceWe rented out a storage that already had a lock on it. We didn’t notice until we had unloaded our belongings and couldn’t place the lock we received from them on. This caused us to leave are unit unlock. They stated they have cameras. Came back the second to unload as they also told me it would be taking care of and it wasn’t so I brought this to there attention and a nice lady help me out and had to taken off. And it was by construction which made thing hard to unload our stuff there was a lot of debris and dirt blowing towards us.
