The customer service was amazing, but the truck was filthy. Overall the experience was great, but the truck was just gross and the tire light was on.

The entire ordeal was ridiculous. I was not charged when I was told I would be and when the charge went through it was on the wrong card. My shipment was late with no communication from the company and no one knew where my box was. I was constantly promised a follow up call and received none. A piece of furniture came shattered and other damaged. Worst experience. Would never recommend to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful! No 4x8's so they loaned me a 5x8 at no extra charge. Trailer harness wiring was done fast and good and at a great price. The 1 month free storage unit is such a great value that I'm probably gonna rent it for a while. I was making an ambitious move for my limited means and U-Haul made that endeavor more quick and easy and I didn't have to part with as many of my things as I would have without the trailer, wiring job, and storage. It exceeded my expectations. Great doing business with you!

Man at the front desk who worked on 12/26 at approx. 9am, around 35-40 yrs old was hitting on the girl with me when I left and she came back because we forgot boxes. First off he asked if she was married (irrelevant and unprofessional) , secondly asked if she would want to come over sometime or go have a drink (she is 20 years old). What a disgusting display. Not what I would expect to deal with coming into U-Haul. Had he been there when I returned the truck I would’ve escalated it further. Absolute pig. Made her feel very uncomfortable to the point where she didn’t want to come back later

the guys working at pickup were great, very friendly, very helpful, 5/5 for them. The trailer wasn't particularly clean, and the door wouldn't open smoothly, but not really a big deal, 4/5. When I went to return it the doors to the store were locked, even though the lights were on and the sign clearly said "open." after ten minutes of staring at me through the glass, the employees started turning off lights and left. All I wanted to know is where to put the trailer back, ended up having to call a different location for them to explain the return process. It was totally simple, would have taken them 30 seconds to direct me to the proper site instead of making me stand out in the cold so they could avoid a minute of work.

I was charged twice the amount I was told I would be charged. I specifically asked them the amount, in front of 3 other employees, and they were wrong. Once I got on the highway the truck shook as if it had two flat tires. We were under a time crunch and therefore did not have time to return. Then we were charged $16.05 for a cleaning - when there was nothing in the truck except the blankets we rented. The truck was only used to move a dining room table and hutch - two pieces of furniture. There was nothing at all in the cabin except for myself. No food for drink. I absolutely should not have been charged. It doesn't matter who I speak to, no one can help or even wants to discuss why I was charged twice. I keep getting transferred to different departments and the location I picked the truck up will not answer the phone.

I took a picture of the gas gauge and mileage when I got the truck in Ironton. I returned the truck with the same gas. Evidently I was a gallon or 2 short. They are trying to charge me $55 for short gas including a service fee for pumping that gas. Total rip-off I have appealed to that location and sent my pics from my pick up but as of yet heard nothing. Gas in Columbus is crazy high $55 a gallon. I hope the company makes this right for me

They made me stand in line for 30 minutes when I had a pickup scheduled online. The staff kept helping people get cash. Two people were invited up to the counter to cut in front of me to be helped. Everyone in line that day was wondering what the hell was going on and why everything was taking so long. Then the truck was given to me very sticky, as if someone spilled their big gulp. And the whole thing smelled like cat piss.

Owen was very nice as was the manager Erin but there were so many errors with my rental. It makes me question the team’s ability. It took what should have been an easy pick up and turned it into a multi-step project with issues at every step of the way.

First it took them forever to check me in and your website was DOWN AGAIN. Also no blankets were included with this order or hand truck the last time I had a uhaul and I got charged for them both times. Still waiting for that to be fixed. Also I was ready to check in my truck when done and your website...you guessed it...down. I called customer service and they had me do the same thing 5 times before they just said to leave the truck and turn in keys.

THIS GAUGE ON THE PAPER WAS AT 1/2 TANK. ACTUALY IT WAS 3/8, THEY SAID THEY WOULD CORRECT IT AND THEY DIDN'T. The U-box originally arrived two days late. The two men you sent to pack the box refused to bring anything to the box from the apartment, as they said their only job was to have me bring the items to the box and they were only to stack the items inside. They did a terrible job at the only thing they would do, as many items inside were damaged in the move, and the contents had also become wet somehow in the process. The delivery to my apartment was late, but the workers were very efficient and good and took my items into my apartment for me.

Upgrade the servers and/or get servers to service customers within the State or Region that they're trying to rent a truck. It took an hour to get a rental on Saturday, Sept 28 due to the system crashing and crashing and stalling out. And the same scenario occurred when we returned the truck - on the same day. We waited an hour to check the truck in, and the system was so slow - we left without getting the final receipt. Luckily, I was able to provide an email address - to have the final receipt sent to me via email, which was sent on Sunday morning. And to put insult on top of the irritation of waiting so long to get a truck, the General Manger, white female, was so unprofessional with customers. She told one customer, who just wanted to ask a question, that she has heard enough questions for the day, and she wasn't trying to assist him at all. He had to wait in line just to ask his question. Mind you, that this was before 12, noon - it was still morning, and she telling customers that she's heard enough questions for the day? In addition, she was answering the phones - instead of assisting customers, who has been standing in line. The other two (2) clerks available were so overwhelmed with the fact that the system was stalling out and crashing. Needless to say, this was a horrible experience. More than likely I'll be renting from Enterprise next time.
