Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulI had went into the store and made a reservation back in August. I was moving in in October when I went to move-in. They said I did not have a reservation so they gave me a different locker when I got to the locker. There was still items inside, so it wasn't clean so I walked back to the office. They gave me a new locker. I was told there was gonna be a lock inside the unit there wasn't I had to go back to the office again to get a lock. Very inconvenient on my first day moving in.

TONY K | Primeras impresionesI have been a customer since October/November of 2025 and have seen management change hands three times. How is U-haul treating it's workforce? Or, is it that management above the store level poorly manages it's mid level managers? The storage facility is fine. It is crowded with Uhaul trucks, making it a challenge to navigate. There is a lot of trash in corners, mostly abandoned furniture or debris, broken units and wrecked cars and dilapidated vehicles in their long term parking areas.

Linda R | Experiencia generalWe rented a storage room for a number of years. In that time, we saw the faciiity go downhill. Each building used to have a secure access, but then they removed the access control system such that only one door had it which made it inconvenient if your storage room was at an opposite end or not close to the main access. Then they removed all security from all doors. Finally, approximately two to three years ago, the person in the storage room next to mine reportedly ran a conecssion stand of some type and stored food in same. My unit was invaded by rats and we suffered some significant damage due to the urine and feces they left behind. No one informed of that and we don;t make it a point to inspect the unit on a regular basis so it was not discovered for quite some time afterwards. When I asked the personnel at the front desk about the issue, they are the ones who told me that yes, they were aware and informed about what had happened. When I tried to get more details, the response was that it had occured sometime ago and that they had evicted them and then could offer no other info. In essence, i got no where, but had to deal with issue on my own. In the meantime, no explanation as to why i was not notified, no apology and my rent kept going up. The new manager seems to be much better as i have noticed improvements, but it was too late and she was too new as we made the decision last year to move to a different Public Storage locaation,. which is newer, cleaner, has security and is less expensive. She at least expressed regret and apologized when I informed her of the reason we were leaving. Hence, why I gave the staff the response that I did. It took us quite some time to clean up the mess as we did this overtime as we had to clean and disinfect every item we had stored. Had we been at least informed of the situation when it occurred the rating would have been much different, but as stated they never did and we did not discover it until months later. So, was the security the same as when we first moved in - no. Was the facility clean and well maintained - no, not at the time. There was a continous lack of carts or at least people would never retirn them to their dedicated speces when done (we ended up buying our own portable cart to avoid havijng to hunt them down) and we oftentime found dead rats in the hallways some that had been there for some time given the state of dehydration on their way to decomposition. As stated, this was my observation over time, but the new manager seems to be much more involved and we did notice improvements, but we made the decision to move before she cam on board and hadd already rented the other room. In essence, my experience and rating is based upon the events of the past and if asked by friends or family, they would get my experience with the UHaul facility as to why I moved and in the same breath, they would get my current experience with Public Storage which would be night and day apart with U-Haul being the night part. I have used U-Haul many times for trailer and truck rentals and will do so again. If I should ever need storage again, I will consider U-Haul, but likely only after checking out others first.I get it that people will be people so not all will follow the rules, but the lack of any notice about the rat issue and no apology or other and then the downfall of the controlled access to the building was the breaking point. Again, this review has nothing to do with the current manager.

She was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely took the time to make sure we understood everything. Her positive attitude and willingness to help made what is usually a stressful part of moving feel so much easier. She is a real credit to U-Haul. We recently moved out of Texas and used the storage facility during a very busy time, and the excellent customer service we received made a lasting impression. He did not help us and we had to call for the supervisor to come in to assist us because lying and being honest with people that’s a very bad combination when you’re running an establishment.
