The XC2 bike rack had everything I was hoping it would. Stable and with a ratcheting center hook to makes the bike secure in the hooped tire wells. Light enough for my wife to handle with all features adjustable and the assembly was fairly easy.

What are the differences between the Reece Q-slot 2 bike rack and the Swagman XC 2 bike rack (besides price). Thank you

–Claudia 8/4/2018 12:26:21 p. m.

Hi, Claudia! Here is a quick comparison of the Swagman XC and Reese Q-Slot:

  • The Swagman XC is secured to the receiver hitch using an anti-rattle bolt vs. the traditional pin and clip on the Reese Q-Slot.
  • The Swagman XC center mast folds down to the side over the wheel cradle and the Reese Q-Slot center mast folds straight back towards the rear of the vehicle.
  • The Swagman XC wheel cradle is flat, allowing the wheel to rest fully in the cradle vs. the Reese Q-Slot's raised cradle with wheel straps.
  • The Swagman XC offers a 70 pound weight capacity and the Reese Q-Slot offers a 90 pound weight capacity
I hope that is helpful!
