During the online process I selected one location, and was told that I would get a follow up call to confirm my appt. I received no call, only a text message that let me know the location, that I totally missed. Then the guy at the new location was nonchalant about the rental.

Had made a reservation for a 4x8 trailer a week or so ahead of time. Got there about 5pm and there was a long line with no worker in sight. Eventually two workers showed up, but only one assistant customers, the other was just hanging out behind the desk. The worker helping customers didn't seem to be in a hurry at all and moved as slow as possible. It ended up taking almost an hour before we got our trailer! This seems like an inappropriate amount of time considering all I had left to do was sign for payment and go around back and snap the trailer into my hitch. Also 2 days later when I came to return my rental it was after hours and I had to do my return online. The online system would Not allow me to advance past confirming my location (even though I had my location services on And was connected to the Uhaul guest WiFi). Eventually after trying various different things for a half hour a worker wondered by and gave me another suggestion to try, after that didn't work he ended up quickly checking me in on his device, which I was grateful for! Overall I definitely think this location could use with some updates and fixes to their procedures and technology.
had a long wait to check in and then it turned out the trailer I rented wouldn't work with my truck systems, so changed to a van rental. I had to wait in the long line again. Only one worker working the front desk. Should have had 2 people working
2 hour wait. Only one person checking in. The other employee was helping someone complete application questions while playing on their phone. Had I not needed the trailer so badly I would have left. I will not return to this location again.
When I received the pickup truck, the exterior was dirty. I expect to rent a washed vehicle. Upon returning it, I indicated on the mobile check in form that the truck was dirty. U-Haul wanted to charge ME a $25 cleaning fee! I'm not the one that dirtied it...
Return experience was poor. Apparently system was down as per the gentlemen cleaning the trucks but no one greeted or provided direction upon return.
Smooth and easy process. My only complaint is that it's expensive!

I was supposed to pick up my truck at the downtown location and it was not ready at my scheduled reservation time. I waited 45 minutes for the truck to be returned before being sent to this location to pick up a truck. When I arrived, they had not been contacted about my truck and had to make it work. I did not receive my dolly or furniture pads due to the mix up. I don't fault this location for that. Overall, very unsatisfied due to waiting and driving all over town to get a truck that was supposed to be â€œguaranteed.â€
The guys that were working the counter didn't seem to be motivated at all. I was the only customer there and dropping off on Sunday and that was the feeling that I came away with. The young lady on the other hand different story she got right on it to get me on my way.

The cargo van was fairly clean, who knows how bad it was before, lol. The staff were helpful and it was a quick transaction, just as it should be
I am appalled that, first. I had to stop the original contract on the day of pick up. There was a 6 six-year-old bill of approximately $63. We had to start a new contract. I believe it was around 445 PM. This was an unnecessary inconvenience. Second, I called the rental location and asked why is 4 pm the recorded pick up time when I was detained and wasn't released until closer to 5 PM? I was told I could return the equipment at 5 after adding 1 day. I returned shortly after 5. Why on Earth would you charge me a whole day for everything even after putting the wrong time?????????????????????????????????????/. Good grief. You're in the moving business. You KNOW How stressful moving is. So why don't you just charge a customer a whole day when in reality the equipment was returned under 30 minutes past the actual time the contract was signed.
While they have a lot of equipment and supplies, staffing seems to be an issue. The location seemed to be understaffed.
Everything went smoothly. Reservation was here and very. Kean..vehicle ran well and the employees were courteous.. thanks guys
Truck kept cutting off
They didn't have enough staff for the amount of returns so no one was behind the desk. They had a sign to go around back but when I found someone they had no interest in helping beyond yelling above the loud music to leave the key in it. They probably need more people to handle the amount of work at this location.
Do all you can to get any deposits back to the customer ASAP
First of all, I had reserved a truck before arriving at the location. But once I had arrived, they told me they didn't have any available and they couldn't find my reservation. So I opted to rent a trailer for 2 days, filled out paperwork, hooked up, and drove away. I returned the equipment 2 days later and was charged for 3 rental periods. I attempted to dispute the charges but nobody from a U-Haul even contacted me despite the website stating someone would contact me within 48 hours. This is absurd and now that I check my bank statement, U-Haul did charge my card for 3 days rental fees.
There was only one person waiting on customers. Service would have been faster with at least two people at the counter. He was trying to move quickly, but again he could've use some help.
I had a reservation and had paid with a credit card online. When I picked up my trailer the fellow said I had to pay cash. thankfully I had the cash, but then I had to pay $60.00 MORE because I paid cash. This was on 9 July 2020, and now on 30 Sept I am STILL WAITING FOR MY $60.00!!!
Not enough staff to handle the customer volume (Seems like the right people, just not enough of them - they were all helpful and friendly). This wouldn't have been a non-issue if my online check in and online return would have worked (I tried the app and the web site). I shouldn't have to wait so long or work so hard to give you my money?? If the online rental process (pickup truck or van) worked as advertised, I'd probably use it more often.
Everything went very smooth no complaint
The sales associate was not knowledgable, she told me if I return my one way rental a day early I would receive money back, which I didn't. She told me I would be refunded for miles I did not use, which I wasn't. I told her multiple times I didn't want the smart saver insurance but she charged me anyways.
Put a buzzer or bell that rings out loud over your system to alert staff that a customer is waiting to be serve.
