The guys working were hardworking even when the line kept getting bigger and bigger. Very helpful manager. I had some issues with my online check in but he made sure I got what I needed.
Understaffed when I checked in. Vehicle was not filled with gas when I picked it up and billing in reference to miles driven was wrong

Very positive experience. I'm glad I chose this U-haul location. My only complaint would be that the truck was not swept out when I picked it up, and there were alot of remnants of plants from whomever used it before me. It was an easy fix for me to get a push broom in there, but wish it had been done prior. Otherwise no issues in the whole process.
I'll never do business with Uhaul.

The trailer i had leaked and lots of my stuff got wet boxes were falling apart because it rained.
Gas wasnt correct Customer service took a pic of my credit card vechicle wasnt clean. Manager has not contacted back about issues.
The employee that help me was friendly and professional and deserves a pay raise. He was the only employee there when I picked up my rental.

Short story: Seems the closers maintain a standard for the crappiest customer service ever. In factâ€” It's completely none existent!! Long story: I had a 6:30 pickup. A gentleman employee walking out of the front door asks if I needed help. I told him I had a reservation to which he responds they're only accepting cash because the credit card systems are down. Now, I found it inconvenient that I was not called since I did not intend on paying cash but I said thanks I would be back. The store closes at 7PM so I had to run to an ATM. By the time I got back we had about 15 minutes before the store closed. The first 5 minutes I waited in the empty lobby. When he finally came in and began checking me in we get to discussion of payment and he then chooses to state there was a $100 deposit for cash payments. Are you kidding me?! I asked why he couldn't tell me that before I left to go get cash to which he insisted he did. Um, sir we stood outside the door for a hot second when you turned me away with your sad news of no cards. No ya DIDNT. By this time it's five minutes to close so I didn't have enough time to get a deposit. I moved my reservation to the next morning and the guy with the fancy cane was there ready to help me out with a smile. Granted he forgot my dollyâ€”which I noticed when I got the rental to where I was moving from but I called and they were happy to note my account so I wouldn't get additional charges. Later that day, after my move I return my truck. I wanted to speak with a rep to verify I wasn't going to get a charge for the dolly since they ran my card before I took it and we just proceeded the move without it. There were two people working. One guy followed me in, took my keys and said I was set. I asked him if he could verify that the dolly situation was squared away and I wouldn't have additional charges on my account. This man sighed and told me the other guy would help and walked into the realm of â€œemployees onlyâ€. Well â€œthe other guyâ€ didn't make his way back into the lobby until about 15 minutes later. By then there were about three other people beside myself are also awaiting service. He says â€œdamn y'all all really waited?â€ One of the people asked if they would be able to get a fill on their propane. This rude employee a ays â€œif you want to wait you can. I might get to it but we're closed in 5 minutes.â€ Moral of the story: Don't go to Burlingame location if you're in the Wyoming area.
I'm sure the situation was that they did not have enough employees working the day after Xmas. There was 1 employee to start - we were in line for almost and hour and a half. We even completed the on-line check in - but it did not make a difference. What is the point behind the on-line check-in if you can't just get what you've rented. Anyway, the poor guy who was left to do the job completely on his own, checking people in and then getting the equipment for each person made for a painful wait. Then another employee came in who apparently was in a car accident the day or two before - he could barely function. We were concerned for his health. It was very unorganized and I felt bad for the employees. But the real issue is the on-line check-in. It would seem to me that if you check-in - the only thing you should have to do is show your id, they print out the paperwork and bam you are on your way. We had difficulty with giving him a contact person - the first one was 'wrong' which made no sense as there was no explanation as to what that meant. Would highly recommend improving on the on-line check-in
System for drop-off was a little confusing, though it appeared only one person was working and it was in fact dark, so I do not blame that on U-Haul or staff. Individual that came out to help (orange beanie and cane) was extremely pleasant and helpful and make the drop-off experience easy and fast.
Hire more staff.
More then one cashier at a time. Lines get way too long and then it starts getting crowded.
The slider door was sticking. Seemed like it was binding which made it hard to open and close.
Customer service was excellent and staff was very helpful.
The fella that was working had a bum leg and couldn't get in touch with anyone to come in and help. He was friendly, efficient and was "Taking care of business"!!! The trailer that was reserved for me had issues with the lights. He said to head out pack and we would pick another one. He helped hook it up and sent me on my way. I was concerned that he would get busy and forget to change the contract to a new trailer number. When I called uhaul to make sure I wouldn't have a problem when I dropped it off in Florida and he had already cancelled the previous contract and paperwork was all set. The trailer was in great condition and pulled without a problem. The young lady at uhaul in Florida was friendly and the drip off went well. The whole experience from reservation to drop off was excellent! Thanks U-haul! Rocky Kimball
