The location was fine and atom was very helpful. The truck was not cleaned prior to pick up. The drivers door did not seal properly creating a lot of wind noise and the window crank handle knob kept falling off. These little things added to the fact the truck did not have cruise control made for a miserable 2,000 mile trip. This truck around town would have been fine but not across the country. I will be hard pressed to rent another truck from U-Haul or recommend that anyone else do the same.

I received an email showing one preferred location for pickup of the 9’ cargo van I reserved, but no other email. Upon trying to obtain the van on it’s day of use, that location was unaware of my reservation. I called other local U-Haul dealers to find another dealer had the van waiting for me at their location. A confirmation email of when and where the vehicle was to be picked up at could have prevented that miscommunication and saved us a lot of precious moving time. As always tho, everything else with the rental was excellent. Thank you.

truck had lots of damage from scraping into things. I rented from this location 2 times, both times the gas in the truck was 1/4 tank less than what was shown on the contract. I had to call both times and one time had to ask them to credit my credit card back because they charged me for gas. They were friendly on the phone, but overall not pleased with the service.

Customer service was aweful and rude. Not to mention I drove for 30 minutes to 2 prior locations for pick up, I had email conformation. Huge hassle.

Check equipment better. Trailer lights wasn't working. I had to fix broken wire. I had to use packaging tape because i didn't have electrical tape. Trailer was parked in different location than office building, about 1 to 2 blocks away.

Forgot to mention.the seatbelt alarm goes off all the time in the truck I rented even when the seatbelt was fastened

The Van smelled like someone had smoked in it. Being a non smoker this was not appealing. Otherwise everything else was clean and the ride was great. Will rent again but hopefully the smoke smell will be gone. You should put a Do Not Smoke sign in the van.

kept calling and calling and texting me asking when I will be done with my trailer. i had the trailer for another 18hours and they kept calling asking when I'll be done with it because a family wanted it when I was done.

The whole experience was dishonest. They said I could pick the truck up on Friday at closing and then charged mean extra day. I ordered two dozen moving blankets and they barely scraped up 18 to give me, some of which came out of the back of a filthy truck and weren’t even folded. Would not recommend U Haul to anyone.

I reserved the truck online and was not aware until I dropped it back off, that if I would have returned it to the Orrville location, it would have cost me a fraction of what I was charged, I called UHaul and talked to a woman who said she would have a district manager call me. Nobody ever contacted me. This was a total scam to charge 3 times as much as you should have. I will never rent a UHaul again and will discourage everybody I know from doing so by warning them in person as well as using social media. VERY VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I returned the van with a full tank of gas and was charged for 9.4 gallons, we're working to correct this with East Side Storage, but it is annoying that they made the charge in the first place.

This was a terrible experience. I reserved a 10' truck on Feb 23 and was given one pick up location. On the day of pick-up, I checked in online and it switched location to a different dealer. I arrived and was told that I could not have a 10' truck, only a 17' truck even though there was one on the lot which was still there in the same spot when we brought it back. The employees laughed at me for wanting the truck for 2 days, seemingly thinking that I'm a fool for not wanting to rent it for one day. Finally the employee told me that women are the ones who wreck all of the trucks. The truck was dirty inside and in bad shape, struggled to even go up a slight incline. I called customer service and waited on hold, hearing the same thing about leaving a review instead of seeking help, over and over again for 15 minutes. Nothing was done to change anything. We will not use UHaul in the future. We are so disappointed by our experience. I didn't get what I ordered, was mocked and got a shoddy, dirty truck.

He first told me he didn't have any trucks. The other gentleman had told him they have one. He looked at him & said no we don't. I had to go to another dealership & he checked for me. There was one available at Eastside Storage. The truck was empty on gas and he marked 1/4 of a tank. I took it back on half a tank. The truck was filthy and the dolly had no straps. The attitude of the agent was demeaning to me and rude. I've used UHaul many times over the years and never had this trouble until I went to this particular location.

The only reason I put no on the equipment condition was one of the ramp holes on the truck was damaged and the light in the box of the truck did not seem to work. Other than those couple of small items, the truck seemed fine.
