I was charged 40 dollars for gas plus 30 dollars for a gas fill up charge when we literally went 6 miles with the truck and had it back in an hour in a half. The mileage was wrong as was the gas charge. The gas gauge never moved from a quarter tank yet we were charged $70 for gas fraudulently. Also, it is listed that we returned the truck the next day at 10:30 AM when we gave the keys directly to the guy we rented from an hour and a half after we rented the truck. When I called to dispute this. I was told that I needed to return to the place of service. As if I have time to waste driving back to Uhaul with a car full of children due to mistakes made by employees of this company.

The salesperson did not know how to add furniture pads to my order, the truck had not been swept, and I was overcharged on mileage. I disputed those charges on the online check-in form, but was never contacted about. This was a Very dissatisfying experience.

Customer service and etiquette was no wear to be found at time of pickup but really good when we brought van back. Lessons on recognizing a person standing for over ten minutes while you are on the phone and at least saying I will be with you has soon has I get off the phone would go along way. And not taking care of the person behind you that says she only has one question when she just walked in after you, she slams phone down walk around in a circle and then helps the other person first. Leaving us alone in store for ten minutes waiting for her to come back.

All sites should have rental trucks with working gas gauges. This is my second rental from a UHaul site where the gas gauge was not properly working. Without the gas gauge properly working, I return each rental with more gas than required by the agreement. I was told by the site staffer that I should take a cell camera picture of the odometer reading and gas gauge. My contract failed to should the gas gauge reading when I picked up the rental. Your policy should be that all rental units show the correct gas gauge reading is working correctly.

While checking the vehicle out, I was informed the vehicle had 2997 miles, but it actually had 2998 miles, which I brought to the attention of the employee who checked the vehicle out. The employee wrote the correct mileage(2998) on the contract, initialed the hand-written correction and drew a line through 2997 miles, but did not make the change in the computer which resulted in me being charged an additional 0.89 cents plus tax. I would like to have my credit card credited for the difference.

Several people entering were confused as to what exact address the Office location was at now since it's new modeling relocating.. I'm suggesting a more visible sign board for customers to see from a far. Placed OUTSIDE in FRONT of its 1506 Woodlawn Drive location. It can be very challenging walking back and forth, side to side, disabled or abled bodied, Seniors, ect especially during inclimate weather trying to figure out where to rent a storage unit, or rent a vehicle. Update your Website's address locations also because you have two different addresses, 1508 Woodlawn Drive STORAGE BUILDING. Also placed a sign visibly there as well. Great customer service from Ms.A. Lea at the its 1506 Woodlawn Drive Gwynn Oak MARYLAND location. ??..kudos

We had to walk the dolly ourselves all the way around the huge building because the two service associates where too busy texting to get the uhual and drive it to the front door. We also truly believe the associate gave us a fifteen foot truck instead of a twenty foot truck. To top all of this off they never updated our miles even though this was not the location we were supposed to pick it up from and uhual never called to confirm anything with me. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I did not find out my pick up location changed until 7:30 the night before our move.

My reservation was honored even though there was a shortage of available trucks. The manager was very professional and cordial. She greeted multiple customers and managed what could have been a very tense situation. I selected this location because the one closer to my home was highly inefficient. I’ll use this one in the future.

I would like to start off by saying the staff that was on site was EXCELLENT overall. There were only 2 people working, and there was a large crowd of people waiting; some who had reservations and some who did not. There was a glitch in the computer system which hindered the location from receiving reservations that had been booked online or over the phone. Because of this, there were not enough trucks available. The lady who worked called the store manager ON HER DAY OFF to determine what to do. She tried her best to assist from home. She recommended a van for me but that was not big enough, so I got a bigger truck than I had originally reserved which cost me more money. I was upset, but because I needed to be out of my apartment the same day I agreed to the cost. Overall, my recommendation is that Uhaul as a company invest more money into their computer systems to ensure sufficient customer service. No one should be bothered on their day off (store manager) and customers should not be inconvenienced to this extent.
