Truck was very old, transmission was slipping, and brakes needed adjustment. A novice driver would may have had issues driving. Overall, all other vehicles i have rented from this location have always been top quality. -1 Star for the truck, 5 stars usually, great place to do business with.

I had to rent a trailer for about 2 hours today. All went well when I presented my credit card, drivers license, license plate, my home address, and my business address. What really bothered me was when the representative asked for a "third party" who knows me. The reason for the request was some absurd policy that U-Haul has to call a the friends or acquaintances of a renter if they fail to return the rental. Here is the problem I have with that so called policy. You already have an open-ended charge card, plus my drivers license, etc. If the equipment is not returned, it becomes THEFT and a matter for the police. Moreover, U-haul has a mechanism to recover their costs beyond what insurance would cover. That mechanism is a credit-card. This so-called policy is so far beyond stupid I have a hard time finding the words to describe it. I've rented equipment for over 30 years and have never experienced anything like this before. This "policy" guarantees I will never do business with U-Haul again.

The key would not turn when I sited to start the truck, it took 15 to 20 min to finally turn, other than that a very good experience!

I was interested in renting a car trailer and stopped in a week in advance of needing it to look at the trailer and talk to someone in service about pricing. He informed me the cost and I let him know what kind of vehicle I was going to tow and what kind of vehicle I was using to tow with. He stated that I was all set and see you in a week. I Showed up next week and was informed that I was unable to rent the auto transport due to the 2007 4x4 Takoma was too light. I now had to borrow a Tundra to rent the trailer. This was a complete waste of a morning to me. I am unclear of why nothing was said on my initial visit about the my Takoma as a tow vehicle. By the way, it was the same service person on both visits.

There was confusion on pricing between the customer service people and the Woburn location. When I arrived I was quoted a different price by two different people. I was happy with having a free month of storage.

Haven’t received a receipt. When I dropped off the van, I handed the csr the keys and he stated he would email my receipt within 5 minutes because he was eating.. other than that service was quick and promt. I would use them again

Everything went very well, the truck was clean, the staff was very nice and efficient a very good experience. One PROBLEM was that the two wheeler was in my way and if I moved it it might of cost $7.00.That was my mistake for not looking inside the box first.

The sales people were helpful and nice. It was no problem to change my reservation when I needed to online. When my movers did not show up to unload my truck they extended my reservation and let me drop off overnight. I had a great experience. Thanks!

I ran into a challenge where my stuff didn't all fit onto the truck I reserved, and Jeff helped me find a one way trailer so I could get everything to Connecticut. He really made a difference in my move, solving my problem quickly and getting me on the road with only a short delay.

The check out process took a bit too long. I did everything on line but still had to wait in line for a long period as the two employees worked with other customers. There should be an express line for people who went through the online process.
