I called to extend my truck rental from 4 hours to 24 hours. They said was ok but instead when we showed up my reservation reservation was canceled When I was ready to return the truck, the truck didn’t want to start! They gave me a truck that broke down after 1.5 hours after I picked it up and after I only drove 4 miles away from the rental location I tried calling to report the issue, but after I was place on hold for 15min I decided to drive my car to the drop-off location, where I had to wait for over 30 minutes in a line to talk to someone and When I got finally my turn, I was told I needed to call myself a1800 number! The worst service I ever experience ever’ they were rude like if I was an inconvenience to them, when I was the one dealing with a huge inconvenience during my move The 1800 number dispatched someone to handle the truck issue and I was finally able to return the truck but by then I was very irritated and decided to return the truck the next Day

Employees in both locations were nice but seemed to be struggling with conditions they were working under. No one should be reprimanded but you could see they wanted to be helpful but were drained somehow.

To whom it may concern, I had a pleasant and very unpleasant experience with using the UHaul services. The pickup location was very good and everything was smooth. I went to deliver the truck yesterday Thursday afternoon at the drop off location at 1300 SW 27th Avenue In Ocala at the Self Storage place and I was treated very badly. I walked in and explained to a lady by the name of Judy there that I was dropping off the truck. She goes to check and she tells me they don’t have me in their system to drop off the truck. So she calls someone on the phone I think may have been the owner or manager. She explains to her over the phone how to search the computer to pull up my information which took a while and she finally got it up and she tells me she still can not take the truck in. I asked why and she said that I have to take it to another location that they can’t take it and I explained to her that’s the location on my contract and I am trying to leave to come back to West Park where I reside in which is 4 1/2 hour drive back. She says she can’t help me and she stayed on the phone with either the manager/ owner. I decided to call the West Park location and explained to a lady working there what had happened and she checked and sure enough I am suppose to be droppping the truck off at the location where I was at. She also told me I could come back at 6 pm and just leave the keys at the drop box. I told her i am trying to leave and go home. It was a rough day raining all day, I was stuck in traffic on my way up for 2 hours, I was cold and wet, and I just was trying to drop off the truck since I was finished with it. I told the lady at the west park after she suggested I bring the truck back to west park it was a far drive back and to put more gas was not easy. So she said I could just leave the truck there and leave the keys in the ignition. I went inside and told Judy that I will be be leaving the truck there and she was saying that I have to take it to some different location and they were waiting for me there. Then I explained to her that this is my drop off location and I would be leaving the vehicle there. She said she don’t care and do what I want to do. She seemed very racist but in a polite way from what I experienced. It was just as simple as dropping off this truck and she gave me such a hard and difficult time. I asked her her name and she said Judy but with a displeasured face and attitude. While I was happy with the service at this location, my reservation was for another location, and when I got there, no one was there, and when I called the number on the door, the guy said they were not operating any longer. Then, I waited on hold with U_Haul for 20 minutes before I was re-directed to a new location. This put my move back considerably, and I should have been contacted prior to pick-up date to be told that there was an alternate pick-up site. Also, by having to travel so much further to get the truck, it increased my overall miles for the day, for which I was charged. I tried really hard when making the reservation to pick a location halfway between my home and my new location, to minimize miles.

This had nothing to do with the location we got the truck from but of the experiences beforehand. I hope this is a good place to write this review considering no one with phone support would take down notes on the many issues that occurred leading up to my move. My company reserved the truck for me no problem online. Later I realized I needed a larger truck so the paid for the upgrade. When I looked online to confirm I saw that it needed me to drop off far from my final destination, so I called and they were unable to help me through support because it was a corporate account but then the corporate account system was also unable to assist with this issue. I was told UHaul would call me a few days before pick up to confirm all the details. The next contact I got was from a woman in the Pine Island (Davie) location who I wish I remembered the name of. She told me that I should have never been able to reserve a truck of that size since they do not have them at their location (rather rudely too.) At this point she told me I could have the size up for no additional fee. When I went online to confirm her changes I saw that she also changed the location to very far from my preference, adding time to my trip. When I called back to Pine Island she had a bigger attitude when I asked about the location change, was no assistance then I called support again where they could also not help. At this point my company went through their UHaul corporate contact for help fixing the issues at hand. They got us to a location in Weston, on the morning of the reservation the location again changed and then the new location was CLOSED. I then had to call my corporate HR manager to have her call UHaul Corporate contact to try to find us a location, to when we had to drive an hour out of our way (each way) to just pick up the truck before our move. UHaul has not been helpful in this issue at all and does not want to remedy all of the inconveniences for the 6+ hours of phone calls and 2+ hours lost during our move. On the other hand, the West Park location was nice to us during this time and was able to give us a small credit for all of the issues we experienced.

The staff are very nice since I did everything online before hand the young girl who helped me made it easy for me to get my truck. The guy who helped me get my truck walked around with me to see any damages. The guy who took the truck back was very professional and nice overall everyone at that location are the best.

The worst serivice of my entire life. I waited over 2 hours for toad side assistance to come an unlock the van to get my keys out, I WILL NEVER TEMT FROM UHAUL EVER AGAIN. THE SERVICE WAS SO HORRIBLE THAT I SJOULD BE GIVEN A REFUND.

This location was normal. But I have a general complain about UHAUL I reserved a trick in north miami beach, so you changed me to another location an another time. I went late to the place and nobody shows up, So I had a really bad day with people waiting for me, I had already paid. So I went to this place 2033 S State Rd 7 in order to get a new reservation. I want my money back for the first reservation.
