I walked into the store and waited 15 minutes as there was no one to assist me. Finally, an employee showed up and I asked him if he had a 10 foot truck available. He said, "I am booked for the day. I have nothing available" I asked him can he pleease look in the computer if any other Uhaul locations near by had anything available. He did not hesitate to say call the 800-Uhaul number which he proceeded to provide. I thought this was very unprofessional specially since I am a returning customer. I proceeded to call the 1800 Uhaul number provided and I was on hold for over 30 minutes. While I was on the phone, I drove to the Uhaul at 560 Bank St in Waterbury and a very nice lady was able to assist me as she saw me on the phone still waiting for the Uhaul rep to answer my call. The young lady was able to locate a 10 foot truck available at the 169 Meriden Rd location. I was very upset because I just came from that location and the guy said there was nothing available specially since he didn't bother looking into the computer. She was nice enough to do the reservation for me and provided me with proof so that I wasnt denied of a truck. I went back to the store to speak to the same guy who said he didnt have anything available. When I asked him, he proceeded to speak to his coworker and complained about the lady who did my reservation. No apologies no nothing. The man looked upset and called "Central" to complained to them that she is booking his truck from the other location. Honeslty, I dont even know how to react about the situation. But I am upset over how all of this was handled. I would love to speak to a manager about this incident. I am sure you look up my number on file.RE M.

I was not called or emailed to explain why I was charged $150 damage/missing charge for a rental dolly. Especially since we returned it and told the gentleman who was outside processing the return of vehicles that it was in the backELIZABETH N.
I was not happy with the way uhaul switched my contract , I had a contract & it was changed so uhaul traffic or corporate charges me an additional $179 dollars so I'm really not happy about the switch & bait . I've been renting uhaul trucks at least 3times a week for the past year & last year alone I spent $4k in rental , sadly to say this will be my last , Truly RYDER does not charge for miles as well as PENSKE & BUDGET . Normally I wouldn't complain but I did everything on line reservation and pick up some stupid program 24/7 the application doesn't work correctly so I had to go into the building . Get in the truck it's on Dead E , I putted to the nearest gas station. I was already late because I had to go in . Then when your suppose to return it lol even worse you can't get a hold of anyone on the so called 24 hour number the application was completely crashed at this point . I'm a female in a shady parking lot at night clueless about what to do with the truck no communications and there going charge me xtra $20.00 for there inconvenience lmao never again will I choose UHaul really terrible customer service and no class .ELIZABETH K.
I was over charged for fuel after informing uhaul the contract was wrong. Although I'm suppose to get refunded i suffered over draft fees do to this. I don't think I'll be using uhaul again.kenzil C.

Disappointed that upon renting noticed gas tank was between 1/4 and 1/2 tank. I filled the tank and when returning left truck just under 3/4 full. You beat me out of at least a 1/2 of a tank of fuel (about $30 dollars). Whatever happened to pick up full drop off full? Then there is no guessing.Roger W.

I dropped off my trailer a few days after a snow storm and there was still massive amounts of snow on the ground. It appeared as though they did not plow much at all. If I did have a truck it would've been difficulty to navigate the parking lot. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful.Melissa R.
Amazing experience. Mary in the online Help Dept called me back when we were disconnected. She advised me to use the Fleet option since I wanted to rent a truck for extra days to deal with the pending storm. The staff at the store got me into the truck in minutes.
