Uhaul needs to do away with the gas credit.They rented me a truck with no gas & want you to spend more in putting gas in the truck than they will credit you.Uhaul need to spend the money they charged the last customer & go to the gas station their self.

Inside of cargo van was dirty, had four dirty musty blankets and a screw driver in it, and the windshield had bird droppings on it. It hadn't been cleaned.

Overall-EXCELLENT. When I arrived for my reserved vehicle, there was only 1 person at the counter and 4 people waiting. By the time I had been waiting 15 minutes, 3 additional clerks arrived and then things moved forward. Even though it may be slow sometimes, it would be best to have 2 people in the store, at the desk at all times, especially since you have other services besides truck rental. (FYI-There were 3 employees in the garage handling the intake and outgoing of rental vehicles as well.) Thank you to all who made my experience excellent

I had a couple mix ups with the order I made online, and they were able to straighten everything out for me in the store and were happy to do so. This was my first time ever renting a moving vehicle from anyone and U-Haul has made this the absolute worst experience ever. The original truck I was given was a "dump truck" as the associate stated, so it had to be changed out. So I was charged for 2 trucks that day. I called the following day to extend my rental and was unable to get through to anyone. I called back the day after that and was FINALLY able to speak with someone, who informed me that I wouldn't receive that refund for the first truck until the following Wednesday (an entire week later). He was however able to assist with extending my rental period. A representative from the local store called later that afternoon with a nasty attitude saying the store "hadn't heard" from since my rental date and was wondering when I would be returning the vehicle, but no one from the store had called me prior to that and I had already spoken with someone do she could have honestly kept her phone call as well as her nasty attitude to herself. Friday during the day I get a random charge for $98, while I still have two $75 charges pending. There was no phone call, no email nothing to verify or authorize this charge. I then have to call back to customer service to figure out what the charge was. A young lady answered the phone asked me to hold, and somehow I get transferred to someone else. The lat rep does assist me the best he could, He reached out to someone at the store and they still haven't called me back. Sunday I received yet ANOTHER charge on my card. I did receive an invoice this time. I thought I was finally done with U-Haul, guess who thought wrong? I was then refunded back both $75 charges, then charged $199. While still having two charges pending for $98 and $24 dollars pending. I had to call U-Haul again this morning, wait for 20 minutes to speak with someone. Thankfully I finally spoke with someone who could actually explain something to me properly. Aside from the woman I spoke with this morning the last 7 days have been a nightmare. I hope this company finds a way to improve customer service, I've never seen a company with such poor customer service.

The pickup was a pretty good process. Long line, and a bit confusing on where I'd actually meet someone with the vehicle, but once I did, the process went fine - vehicle was clean and staff were very helpful. The dropoff staff was rude and unaccommodating. I stood and waited while he checked my vehicle, but was distracted three times by trying to tell another staffer to go handle another vehicle. Instead of a 2-min dropoff, I was there for closer to ten just waiting for him to focus.

Walked in and the two female emplouees spent about 4 minutes finishing a personal conversation while I stood directly in front of them. My contract had things on it I assume we’re automatically added on to it that I did not want or need. On drop off, while in the warehouse, I was honked at by a female employee with pink hair talking on the phone while driving a fork lift, I’m sure that’s up to code. You should send your staff across the street to public storage for training, thank god you were out of storeage units so I don’t have to deal with your staff on a regular basis. Unfortunately, I’ll have to be back at your poorly run, mismanaged store in 2 months to rent another truck. The only reason why you even get business is because you have a monopoly on the service, you would die as a business with real competition.

We had a reservation for 7:00am, and arrived around 7:20am. We didn't leave until well after 8:30am because the first vehicle was full of furniture. The second vehicle had no gas. Finally the third vehicle was able to be used. It was a very long and frustrating experience for us - we are long-term truck rental and storage unit clients.

This U-haul experience was a NIGHTMARE. I am not blaming it on this particular location, considering that they were friendly and accommodating when I arrived, and the employees do not manage the scheduling. However, I originally made my reservation at the K street location and after my reservation was confirmed, I received FOUR different notifications regarding changes to both my truck rental and changes to the location. I will certainly think twice before considering using U-haul again.
