When I originally went in to make the reservation the gentleman failed to mention that since I had an out of state drivers license, I would need another form of ID in order to fulfill my reservation at pick-up. This would have been a very useful piece of information to know considering I did not have another physical piece of evidence on me when I went to pick up my vehicle. Fortunately for myself I had recently gone on a international trip and had a picture of my passport on my phone. However, if I (or anyone for that matter) had not, I would not have been able to confirm my reservation. The associate was not very helpful in solving the problem that had arisen from their own fault and simply did not care that I would potentially have to go all the way back to my place of living and all the way back in the pouring rain and cold.

If there's a next time... The gas milage on the returned rental truck was marked incorrectly. And i was charged for it.

The staff in the morning was really nice, however the van was parked in a near impossible place to pull out of. There were dollys and hand carts way outside of the yellow line. In addition, upon return, I received no help and saw 5 employees walk by.

Even though I registered and checjed in through the website, it took another 15 mins to register again in the location. The truck that was confirmed through the website was not available so they had to give me a different one. I had to provide the same information 2 times (in the web and in the site). This is not efficient at all

When I returned my equipment, it was not logged back in. Consequently, I was charged for an extra day which was immediately fixed when I called about it. However, I have used U-Haul only twice (previous time was different location) and both times had issues with equipment returns not being processed properly. This suggests a problem with U-Haul’s equipment return process in general.

I was pleasantly surprised by the great service I received at uhaul yesterday. Surprised because of all the negative reviews I read before making my rental reservation. From the service desk to returning the cargo van, customer service was great! Kudos to three employees yesterday.

I went to this branch to pick up my UPod. When I arrived at the agreed time, I was first told I would not be able to pick up my pod at all, then that it was not ready yet. Luckily, the pod had actually been loaded onto a trailer, and that trailer could eventually be hitched to a truck. By the time all of this had played out, about an hour had passed and I was running late for an appointment with a moving helper. In the rush, I forgot to check the mileage listed on the receipt. Unfortunately, that mileage was totally off; I drove the truck from your branch to my new address, 850 Quincy St NW; that's about 5 miles, so about 10 miles total. I was charged for 70 miles. I contacted the store manager and have not received a response a few days later. Of course, I should have checked that when I was given the truck, and didn't which is my fault. Nevertheless, I hope you will understand that I am fairly unhappy with this UHaul experience.

The service was extremely slow. I had a reservation for a 10 foot truck from 2:45 to 6:45 for an in-city move and arrived at the UHaul location at 2:45 to pick it up. They claimed that my reservation was a one way reservation, that I had changed it from a round trip to a one-way (even though I had not changed it), the truck I was supposed to rent was not there, and I did not leave with a truck until 3:30, 45 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. Although, I still had to return the truck by 6:45 due to this location closing at 7pm. Additionally, there was ample parking in the back of the building and it looked like they were letting people park on the side of the building, but when I asked if I could leave my car there while I rent the truck they told me no and that I had to find street parking during a National baseball home game. When I returned the truck the service was just as slow as when I came to pick it up. I would never rent from this UHaul location again and honestly may not rent from UHaul again in general because of the disorganized and extremely slow service I encountered for this reservation.

Customer service when picking up the can I rented was so good and efficient I kept talking about it all day. It wasn't just good, it was exemplary. It was as if someone from corporate was doing a site visit and everyone was tripping over themselves trying to be friendly and helpful. I am not exaggerating and I have no personal connection to this store. The morning crew yesterday really should be commended.
