The Warwick location is very strict. All about the money. We were loading the truck to leave for Florida in the morning. It got late and we were told we had to leave because we didn’t have 24 hour access. I said I would pay the $10 to be able to finish loading the truck. They said it wouldn’t go into effect until the next day. I talon rhem what part of we are leaving for Florida in the morning didn’t they understand. They simply said we had to leave. So now I still have things there I need to find away to get. U-Haul of Warwick sucks.

I placed my order 3 weeks in advance of when I needed the truck. 4 days prior to the day I was to move they called to tell me I no longer had a truck. They were very rude, offered no other solutions, or to honor the original rental. We booked a truck elsewhere. 1 day before our move, uhaul corporate I believe called and said the store would honor the original order. When I picked up the truck, they stated I had to sweep and clean it after use. However, the truck was dirty and unswept with debree at time of pick up. I will not be using this location again and will tell others not to use them either.

The mileage discrepancy from the vehicle remained on the system. Fortunately my trip was within the allotted mileage; otherwise the initial error could have led to additional mileage charges.

She was running the entire U-Haul facility by herself, including answering the phone and assisting extremely needy customers in person, and she handled it all calmly and courteously. Everything was perfect. I was able to reserve the moving truck online and the store employees were extremely polite and had everything ready for me when I arrived. When I returned the truck and the equipment, I was received by a huge smile and the staff made sure they checked me out quickly. Please don't change anything, the service and equipment was perfect. I had 2 issues with my rental experience at this location. 1. While picked the trailer up the sales rep asked me to turn on the hazard lights to makes sure the lights worked. They did and he said we were all set. I proceeded to ask him to check all the other lights. Because the last time I rented a UHual trailer they didn’t check all the lights and the trailer had short, burning out my brake and parking lights without me knowing. I drove from RI to NC with no lights. The salesman proceeded to check the other lights learning that the parking lights did not work. Checking them he said that it was my plug that was bad. I told him that I would fix that before I got on the road. He then told me that he could not let me take the trailer without all the lights working. The very lights he was not going to check until I had asked him to, had I not asked him I would have left there without the parking lights working! Then he sells me a $12.99 adaptor for my electric brake plug. Worst part, when I got to my father’s shop I testing my other plug and the lights worked. 2. When scheduling the dropoff I asked if I could drop it at the 1911 Guess Rd, Durham, NC location. The salesman at the Oakland Beach Avenue location told me I could not drop it off at the 1922 Guess Rd. location. Instead he listed off available location for me to choose from. I choose the 3310 N. Roxboro St, Durham, NC Location. When I arrived at the 3310 N. Roxboro St location they told me that they could not take the auto carrier because they did not have room for it. They called the area representative from UHaul, who was very helpful, and he and I agreed that I could drop it off at the 1922 Guess Rd. location (The very location I wanted to go to in the first place. I also told him that the dealer I picked it up from said I could not drop it there, he said that did not makes sense. That’s 3 hours of my life I will never get back. I gave UHaul $533.88 for this kind of service. I think they need to learn a little more about customer service.

I followed every direction given and no longer needed to use the truck. I returned the vehicle after the first day of use. ( I had rented it for two days) I returned the truck 53 minutes later than when I picked it up the day prior. I got charged for an additional day. The employee was snide and rude when I asked about the additional charge. He said if I was there 23 minutes earlier I wouldn’t of had to pay. I asked for the manager, he said there wasn’t one. I asked for his boss he said he’s not working today. I again asked about the charge and he said sorry can’t do it. I will never use Uhual again and I will certainly tell everyone I know about this type of grimy antics. It is not right of fair to charge for a day not used. I will be following up with the BBB as well as anyone in corporate that will listen. I am floored and disappointed.

My experiences there are always excellent. The manager shu Feng is very accommodating and friendly. Another tribute to Uhaul phenomenal selection of employees is Manny. He Is always friendly and helpful. This particular U-Haul location is always stocked with the utmost professional members of the U-Haul team.

Car had bad fuel pump and broke down. I explained to owner and he said he would “take care of it”. I had the mechanics wife return the furniture a they still charged me for two days. I rent her literally like once a month on average because I live close by. I wish I had more options.

I was told that the truck I rented had a full tank of gas when I left the facility and I was to return it with a full tank. I used the truck for a total of 5 miles. when I went to refill the gas tank it took over two gallons of gas and only because I stopped pumping. Very poor gas miliage or ?.

Be nicer! I showed up early to rent my trailer - I was in a hurry because I wanted to get to work on time. The lights were on and the door was open, so I went in. I was told they were closed and to come back. I asked what time it was - 6:56. He grumpily told me they weren't open for four minutes and I would have to come back. It was 35 degrees outside! And yes, he was correct and I was early and so I went and waited outside without complaint. But why not say, "Technically we're not open and my computer is still starting up, but you are welcome to stay inside until it's ready." A little courtesy (and warmth!) goes a long way.

Gas tank was not full when I took the truck. I took a picture and showed the associate when I returned. He refused to offer a $5 credit that I asked for. I drove 14 miles and put 3 gallons of gas in a small 10' truck.
