They supposedly found very very small damage the next day after I left the car and told me it would only be a $50 charge. Then I got the bill and they charged me $147 and when I tried to fight it they couldn’t prove that they told me it would only be $50 even though I did not damage the truck. I will not be using uhaul anymore even though I used to use them regularly. I will not recommend them to anyone.

It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers as I am a very patient and understanding person; however, I went to Twiggs five days before our moving date to reserve a truck and was given a rate of $x.xx per mile and was told that I could pick the truck up at 7:30am on Saturday, even though they open at 8:00am. The woman assured me that she would be there at 7:30am. On Saturday, I arrived at Twiggs at 7:30 am and there was no one there....fine. Then a mechanic showed up and I explained why I was there. He was very nice. He eventually called the owner of Twiggs and I figured he would either come right away or call the woman to come right away. Finally, at 8:00am, the owner showed up and was EXTREMELY RUDE to me. I tried to explain to him what the woman had said to me and he kept saying that no one shows up before 8:00am on Saturday. He didn't want to hear what had been told to me and instead of handling the situation with a simple apology and taking care of things for me, he CHOSE to be rude and abrasive. I told him that he was being rude and he continued with his completely unprofessional and rude attitude towards me, a loyal customer for over four years. In the meantime, the woman finally showed up at 8:15am and she, on the other hand, handled the situation beautifully. She apologized for not being there when she said she would be there. Then, regarding the rate I had been given, now I was told that it was $.30 more PER MILE. Mr. "Twiggs" was of NO help and I insisted that they call U HAUL to honor the rate I had been given. The woman made the call and the rate was honored...Again, she was very helpful and I appreciate her professionalism (unlike her boss). I was finally able to leave with the truck at about 8:45am. Before leaving, I went over to the owner and told him that he was rude and that is NOT how you treat a customer. He said sarcastically, "Yeah...the customer's always right." I told him that I will never do business with him again without a sincere apology for the way he behaved. He then gave me the most INSINCERE and LAME fake apology that I have ever heard in my life. I understand that people have bad days and I am very forgiving but unless this owner rethinks how he behaved and does the right thing, I will NEVER patronize his business again, nor will I send anyone his way. It's unfortunate because everyone else I've come into contact there has been extremely nice and professional.

Rent trailers that do not have bald tires. Safety Issue. Trailer would not have passed inspection.

The lady who tended to me was not kind at all. She had a major attitude problem! Extremely rude to me as a costumer! I would recommend this rental place. But the woman behind the counter has got to be fired!!!
