Employees were great and very helpful. When I got home and opens the trailer it had not been cleaned. There was garbage, cement or stone dust. I had to clean the trailer.

They did not provide the correct items I purchased. Antonio ( a so called manager ) lol didn’t do anything or even apologize: literally couldn’t move my furniture.. his boss Scott fall did the exact same thing. DO NOT COME HERE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SORRY PEOPLE!!

Checked me in and got payment. Told me to drive to trailer location on site and they would come out and hook up; no one showed for 15 minutes; went back inside to check and serving other customers behind me;send me back out and took another 15 minutes;30 minutes to get hook up after I paid! Almost same when I returned trailer....disrespectful

I can't recommend any improve for the next customer because I feel everything was perfect from check in to check out. I also loved the GM's attitude and all the other workers behind the desk. I may rent a truck next time. They look pretty nice and I could move some things around with it!

I reserved my rental for Pelham and was sent to Bessemer. That was an awful experience and the trailer I had to hook up myself did not have working lights nor was there a cap on the brake fluid. The people were nice but did not help at all to hook the trailer up. We had to go back in and get them to see it was defective. They did help get a new trailer reserved though and in the end the Vestavia store was a well oiled machine. Well done Vestavia even if you were not my first choice I would do business with you again and again!

The location was fine . The problem was that uhaul changed the location of my order with out me knowing . I went to the wrong address. The online check in was ridiculous . Wouldn’t work so I had to go inside and do a regular check in . The whole process took one hour of my moving time !

The assistant manager that we spoke to was a very helpful and polite. The first employee that we interacted with though was very brusque and dismissive very close to the edge of rude. There was a discrepancy with the mileage and when I tried to talk to him about it he just said that I could go on home and that he would have his manager called me sometime the next dayand that I didn't want to go in to see the assistant manager because they were busy. Fortunately I had some time so I chose to stay and wait for the assistant manager. He was very helpful we worked out the discrepancy. But what really upset me was when I was inside waiting for the assistant manager I saw the other gentleman have an interaction with a couple. He treated them in a very different manner than the way he had treated my mother and I. He was polite, he was helpful, he was friendly whereas to me and my mom he had been very rude and dismissive. I don't know if it was because he was in front of his assistant manager, or if it was because that couple had a gentleman in it whereas I did not have a male with me. I wish I knew the first man's name so that I could tell people to avoid him, but he was not wearing a name tag. The most I could do would be to give a physical description.

Have a assistant manager not blame a cracked windshield on me when he knew he was giving me a truck that was damaged. I should have checked the vehicle but I was already late because of the truck that I initially rented on Lorna Road in Hoover was not available when I got there at 9am, it was 9:45 before they told me that they did not have a truck that I would have to go to Vestavia. I drove there and they said it would be 1pm or later before they would have a truck. I was already late in picking up furniture that I drove to Hoover from Troy to pick up so they then said they had a truck but nothing was mentioned about the cracked window. The assistant manager moved the truck to the front of the store and NO ONE can convince me that he didn't know. When I turned the truck in they said I was responsible for the crack which is BS. I called the Vestavia U Haul and his statement was well you bought insurance so that can pay for it. I have had good luck with U Haul in the past but this entire rental was a nightmare. I would never recommend the Lorna Road in Hoover or the Vestavia location.

Only had one employee working which caused massive delays in pickups. I waited 50 minutes to get my truck, which caused my hired movers time which I had to pay extra for. I ended up not even using the truck to move since it took so long to pick-up and used my movers' truck instead. This was also supposed to be a mobile pick-up but was not ready. The dolly was also not available upon pick-up. Absolutely horrible. I will never use uHaul again.

Whoever took return of the truck and closed me out was extremely irritable. Sad for him considering it was 7 AM. Didn't catch his name as he was not in the mood to exchange pleasantries. I was nothing but considerate but he was agitated from the moment he asked if i as returning a truck. I will not be back to this location simply because of him.

The customer service guy was there by himself and it was a line out the door. I understand being stressed and by yourself but to treat people like they are nothing is not acceptable.
