Rental equipment (hand truck and furniture dolly) was not in the trailer. We did not discover this unit we opened the trailer on site several miles away. It made the move much more difficult. The U-haul site did reverse the charges for the equipment so they made it right, but the attention to detail was not there.
Workers here were very nice practising social distancing and using masks, they were very fast.
I was originally told to drop off at the Seaward location. The woman was very rude and said she had no room even though I parked next to other trucks and plenty of room. She said I had to drop it off at Thomson and had no info , I was told I would have to look it up. I hope the Seaward location is reprimanded because I have been using the company for 27 years and have never had anyone speak to me that way

After my wife stopped the first time after hauling the trailer, my daughter who was behind her told the left turn signal light was out on the trailer. They didn't have time to stop for repairs. Not good.
There was no parking for customers. We had to park down the street on a very busy street and walk back to the location.
The staff made it easy to rent and take the truck off the lot.
Make sure you can promise that the equipment you want, can be delivered and ready, at that particular site. I was told, that "you might have to go to another location, to pick up the equipment". What?!! That has never happened before. So, it looks like the scheduling department, has to make sure this happens.
Extra cleaning of equipment
Work on website access. Very frustrating.
Reservation was wrong, called to fix it and was told I could have a truck for 24 hours. When I called the day of, the changes had never been made. They then made them for me. When I went in I was told I could only have the truck for 16 hours. The dolly in the truck had a broken wheel. There's a sign on the door that reads, â€œmask required to enterâ€, however the employee who helped me was not wearing one. I think his name was Jose. I can assure you I won't be using U-Haul ever again.

Phone reservation service through corporate is terrible. Corporate made my reservation at the wrong location.
the young kids that are working there are so polite and so capable... they can handle a lot of things going on. I think this is such an underrated business and I love going here. Nice to see our youth actually doing something other than on their phones. :-)

Employees were great to deal with. Had an issue with the lights not working on the trailer and they helped me find the problem. With a $2. fuse I was on my way.

The location forgot to put my dolly in the truck. No big thing. The part of the experience that was bad was the 24/7 app experience. Took 45min to complete because of all the steps I had to do while there, steps that could have been taken care of in advance. Additionally, each time I refreshed it would have to 'start over'. Minor mishap at the location, those things happen. The 24/7 app needs a rework.
