The pick up process was tedious and lengthy. Additionally the extra items we ordered; appliance dolly, moving blankets and additional dolly were NOT in the truck. When we inquired about them at the location, we were told to tell the person when we returned the truck that we didn't receive those items to get a refund. So we didn't have the tools we needed to move and had to get them elsewhere. Which was annoying and disappointing but thanks for the refund.

Jose OThe pick-up location was changed at the last minute to the Seaward Ave location, which is a gas station. No uhual employees. I ordered a dolly and some blankets and none were available at the location even though I ordered in advance. I called Uhual and the first representative was super nice and he wanted to make sure I get help so he transferred me to the traffic manager (i think that's what he called his title, but he was in charge of the operations - his number is 818-988-7008). When I spoke to him, he gave me a ridiculous excuse that dollys and blankets are first come first serve basis even if you order them in advance, which is not true. I went to my original location to get blankets and dolly and I told them what happened and they said the manager was lying to me. You really need to talk to your manager because he acted like he didn't care. Also, the price was higher than I was originally quoted. All the emails Uhaul sent included the reservation information but not the quoted amount so i was not able to dispute it. This practice is not ethical. If I had known, I would have screenshot the quote. I would like to be reimbursed the difference.
Ramon MThe ladies working there are not helpful at all. The hand truck I had reserved was not there. The final cost was way over what I was quoted on line. Would not ever go there ever again.
