The previous customer has spilled a soda or some sticky drink on the floor and it was not cleaned up before I rented it so I vacuumed and scrubbed the floor myself. Also the inside windshield was so smudged and smeared it made it difficult to drive into the sun. I had to stop and clean it. Also, I choose a specific drop off location when I rented the truck because it was near my home. I was redirected to another one a 3-hour round trip away. I called and asked for a different one. I was not allowed to drop it off at either of the 2 locations nearest me and had to drive 40 miles to drop it off. Consequently, it put me over my mileage allotment by 20 miles so I was charged for that. Not good customer service. Bad service, bad experience due to additional cost that was not my fault but that of U-Hauls. This is the 2nd time a rental automatically directed me to drop it off hours form y home. Something needs to be done about the system. I can understand your wanting the equipment to be dropped off at a place where you might need that specific truck or trailer, but it should not be the customer's responsibility to get it there, especially at OUR cost.

The process to rent the u haul takes much too long. I filled out a ton of stuff on the internet including pics of drivers license to shorten the check in time and then had to do it all over again when I got to the store.

I had a reservation for a truck for a week. The day I show up to get it I arrived at 7:45am. As soon as they open. I had to sit there until 10:30am before I received my rental, because they said their system was down. I used the truck for a total of like 2 hours so they took longer to process my rental then it took me to use it. Why am I still having to pay $50 for this kind of service. They told me they would talk to their boss about so.e kind of refund, but I will never get that phone call, unless they can do right, I will not be referring anyone here.

Do not lie and tell people there is gas in u-haul, when in fact it was on empty. I tried taking pictures and app would not let me. I drove the exact miles 2x to storage and took it back to Hornsby garage. And it was not 88 miles.. I will be driving next month across country and will never use u-haul or recommend them. Clearly mark parking areas, and maybe have an indicator showing what spaces are available. I barely missed a tow along when I was parking because I couldn't see it was there.
