The new check mobile check-in system is horrible. It could be a great thing but there needs to be better instructions on how to prepare for the mobile check-in. Maybe even have a computer at uhaul location in case someone’s phone or camera is not working. The one sales clerk was overwhelmed with customers, but she handled it as smooth as possible. I was not the best customer because I had so much trouble with the app. Once she saw my fusstration, she became frustrated with the system. As I was about to leave and cancel my uhaul rental, she did some remarkable service recover. She took the heat from me and made me a happy customer.

I rented an auto transport to tow a 1936 Studebaker. This transport has hydraulic surge brakes installed and I highly recommend this trailer to transport your vehicle. My Studebaker weighs 3100 pounds and it handled like a dream going up and down the mountains I had to go through. Great rental at a great price. I have always had good experience with Uhaul equipment.

The straps on the auto transport were not usable so the U-Haul representative offered to change them and she was extremely helpful but she had to help other customers so I crawled under the transport and changed the straps personally. The U-Haul employee was nice and accommodating but she did not have any help to cover the volume of clients at the store. I got there at 12:00 and did not get to leave until past 1:30.

I had a 6x12 Trailor scheduled but after standing for an hour waiting to be checked in I was told they did not have any. The Manager told me to read her name tag then ask if it said Jesus. because she could not preform miricles and I was done. then she repeatedly called for the next person in line until I left the location. I then called uhaul at the corp. number and was able to book a truck for the next day. everyone on the phone and when I came in the next day were very nice and the rental had not issues. The manager Allison or allyisha should never have been rude to a customer especially when Uhaul was unable to deliver as they said they could. I have used Uhaul 5 times in the last year and a half moving kids to and from college. I will continue to do so but will find a new location to use going forward. As a Real Estate Broaker I have refered many of my clients to this locatoin for their moving needs. I hope that none of my clients ever have to be treated as I was on Saturday. the staff on sunday were very helpful and should be commended.

Although my information was already in system from previous visit, the lady who handled my rental on the day of seemed lost. She had to re-enter my information twice, seemed to be frustrated until the manager got there to answer questions. I later learned that there was a mutual connection between her and my friend who was there with me. When I visted previously, my experience was great. The manager and another employee were relaxed and answered questions with ease/confidence.

This was the worst moving experience ever. First trucked I received liftgate did not work. Second truck had a transmission issue which I found out after making it to the destination to move equipment. Transmission acted up several times while using the truck(ex. constantly jerking when shifting up or down with speed). After unloading the truck to leave the storage location the truck got stuck on pavement and gravel where there was no rain, mud, sand, or anything to cause it to get stuck, called U-Haul customer service at 4:31pm to get roadside assistance and OMG did it get worse, I spoke to 7 different agents on 7 different calls to no avail. After finally snapping out because the last two of the seven customer service agents tried to blame me for the truck, charge me for it, and get loud with me they sent someone to assist me which was after 7pm. It was such a horrible experience I decided to take pictures of everything(ex. interior, exterior, gas hand, etc) for my own benefit, good I did because after returning the truck to the station and putting the truck back on 1/4 of gasoline, Alisha Smith the manager, charged me $12.+ by saying I did not put gas back in the truck, over charged for the rental( $29.99 day, $0.69 gas,) I only used 23.7 miles was charged for 60 miles, and would not refund what was owed to me. I showed her pictures I took before putting gas in the truck while at the gas station and she argued and said that’s what I brought it back on. This was the worst service ever and I will be heard. Customer service is the key to a successful business regardless of the price or equipment. I would rather pay more for great service than free for horrible service. The equipment’s exterior is what being sold because the service is RIDICULOUS.

Please ensure the equipment ordered online is available. Please do not call and advise that reservations do not to a damn thing. I reserved a 20 ft truck online just to be called the day before and advised not only would i not get my 20 ft truck at 8am, but I had to pick up a smaller truck at 3 in the afternoon. Mind you it is June in Mississippi! Ridiculous!!! I do have to say when I got to the East main location my opinion improved tremendously. I’d suggest to go directly to the store and make reservations rather than going online.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this location with one of the employees being incredibly rude the whole time. Not only did they not contact me and say that my pick up location was in Tupelo until after I had driven somewhere else but once I got there and conveyed to the employee I was very much in a hurry because I had to drive 45 minutes back to that location and had to be in Oxford to meet a locksmith at a certain time, she not only got an attitude but also decided instead of finishing helping me she would go finish helping a trainee that was doing something else. Will never use this location again and would never recommend it.

Terms of the rental were not discussed (example- the paper I was told to sign stated there was a leak in the top of the truck and I was assuming any water damage should it occur), I rented a furniture dolly and the lady stepped on it with her foot and said this is yours, I wanted to rent a standup dolly but none were a valuable so I asked about the ones inside and was told, those are only for sale (good customer service does what it takes to make the customer happy), the dolly rentals were per day which I didn't notice until I got home and reviewed the paperwork, and I was told the furniture pads needed to be folded and at the rear of the truck. So basically I paid over $300 to rent a truck that I had to load, clean, and fill up with gas. Just didn't sit well with me. I will say though it wasn't all Miss Pounds fault. She was the only employee I saw both days and had to deal with me and other customers. Her computer seemed very outdated and not user friendly. She was frustrated and rightly so. If i were in charge, and i am not, i would video what an employee should do and provide better training. I would also rent trucks with a full tank of gas and tell customers either they can return it full or we will at a certain charge. Last, I would at the least have 2 employees inside the store helping customers. Thanks for allowing me to give feedback. I'm not upset, it could have just been a lot better experience.

I made the reservation for a pick up at another location closer to my house. I arrived on time for the pick up and there was no UHaul. I had to still go across town to pick up the UHaul. Even after explaining the situation, no staff member apologized for the mistake.

Online rented 26 ft. Get to location had to wait. Guy said he had to check in. He tells me he has no time to look at 26 ft so we had to get 21. Did not manage to get everything so now I will have to make a second trip. Had I had the 26 ft it would have been plenty.

Reservation for the type of trailer was changed to another location, far out of the way and time changed 4 hours later. NOT COOL. CREDIT WAS NOT GIVEN THEN OR EVEN NOW ON MY BILL FOR SIZE OF TRAILER THAT WE HAD TO GET BASED ON AVAILABILITY.

I called ahead to make sure the equipment was available. When I got there the sales woman tried to tell me it wasnt, even though it was. She was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her because she had to do her job. I would not return to this location.

I was suppose to return the trailer by 6:45p I called to let them know I might not make it before they closed, they transferred me to customer service, they told me what to do after hours and they would not charge me for another day. The next day they did charge me I called the GM and she said that would not refund me. BAD business to say something one day and then charge me!!
