My problem with u-haul was not with the tupelo location it was corporate and the call center all my complaints have been recorded on my rental agreement tupelo location went above and beyond to help me but your higher up people are useless and would not listen and then there was fees added on I swept guess I was suppose to get toothbrush and scrub the back of it here is the truth now u-haul what are u gonna do to fix it

We are wanting to find another company to rent from in the future, but unfortunately you all are kind of like walmart and have the cheapest prices, so we may have to just deal with poor communication and below avg. customer service so we can enjoy the cheaper rates :(

I dropped the trailer off after hours on Monday night, 9/18/17. I received a contract receipt stating that the trailer was returned 9/20/17 at 9:57am. This would date and time would still have meet my contracted return date of 9/20/17, however I was charged an additional day ($20), Coverage (? - $8), and Tax ($2.03) This was charged to my credit card. $30.03: Why, it was returned over a day early?

The truck had tape on the side mirror, several scratches, dents, dirty windows, and and bug residue. We could not see out of the window and it kept moving. We had to drive 600 miles like that. However we were grateful that they had one available when we needed it.

I got to the place that morning to get truck and ask the guy for a big truck to rent and he said that he didn't have anything and i look outside and seeing four big truck on the lot to be rental my mother in law and wife was piss off about this deal and my mother in law had to make 3 more special trip back out town to get rest of stuff to finish moving

I reserved a 12 foot trailer and the first one leaked so I had to drive 30 miles round trip to get another one. As I was taking the 220 loop around Jackson MS. the trailer came loose and I had an accident that caused a lot of damage to my truck and I'm hurting all over from being tossed all over the road.This happened about 9:30 at night. I'm going to a Doctor now all because your employee didn't hook up the trailer correctly. It has caused me a lot of stress as I re live this nightmare over and over in my sleep.

The reason I wouldn't recommend this location to a friend is as follows; I was asked how many miles round trip and how many hours I was gonna be using truck. I returned the truck over an hour early and with less miles than I guesstimated. I added $25 worth of fuel and got needle back to where it was. Person receiving truck said I was low on fuel and charged me an additional $17.50!!!! Why do they ask for mileage and hours of use??? Won't be using them ever again.

The lady at checkin was kinda ill. Maybe frustrated. They need more than 1 person there to help folks in the morning. Manager doesn't come in til noon, she said. I asked was there a better deal for me and she said, it's already locked in can't change it.

It's kinda ridiculous if I return the UHaul in perfect condition with extra gas than when I left, a day early, and 100 miles under I don't get some sort of refund for the unused time and miles.

The reps at the location were great but when I had to call Uhaul this was a completely different experience. I attempted to call the Tupelo office but was eventually transferred due to them being busy. I was trying to explain I may be a little late and was trying my best to get it all done. I called in at 1100 hours and the truck was due back at 1230. I cannot begin to explain how badly I was treated and transfered 4 didferent times. After the 4th time the lady even threatened me saying that the truck could be reported stolen if I was late. This is a little ridiculous and I have been a police officer for 17 years. With the way I was treated and threatened I will never use Uhaul again and hope to tell others as well. I am not trying to be difficult but it was ridiculous. Again, the Tupelo office was great and even apologized for who takes your calls but today was awful. Thanks, Jason Brockman

They only had one person working at 8:00 on a Saturday morning. Even though I had an appointment, the wait time was very long. The worker was very good he just needed help.

The young man that did the contract was very slow for something already reserved and set up. He knew very little about the process or the trailer I was renting. The site manager was very helpful and stepped in to see the safety chains were missing and walked me through loading my vehicle. If she had not been there when we loading the car we would have made a 1,800 mile haul with no safety chains and not strapped down well to begin with.

If a truck doesn't have the proper equipment the customer needs to be notified and asked if okay before renting uhaul. I wasted $148 and didnt get to move anything. The only good thing about this location was the man trying to help us resolve the issue. Otherwise, absolutely terrible. Would have never accepted the equipment if known it was lacking parts for the main convenience. Wasted money and time.
