Two issues with Mr Mingo location. First, a little more detail about the virtual pickup. It was not clear where the key box initially is located on the side of the store. Second, a homeless person was living in the back of the truck. I opened the back door to confirm the pickup condition and found trash and an aluminum pan willed with paper ash. the box smelled like smoke.
John CWe picked up the truck and got a call the next morning telling us we basically stole the truck because the location did not dispatch the truck at all because the truck was not ready to be dispatched. Before we left the location we asked multiple times if there was anything we needed to do because usually there is and he said no just return the truck with the same amount of gas it has in it and handed us the keys after checking our reservation off my phone. We did not get anything to do the online check out where you take the photos until the next morning which I’m glad I took photos on my phone before leaving because the truck was damaged and the photos the location had for it did not show any damage. The truck reeked of cigarette smoke and there were ashes all in the drivers floor board with cigarette’s and we had to clean that out, it was also dirty and still had stuff in it from the previous renter. I e used uhaul many times and have always had a wonderful experience but this was definitely not a good one unfortunately.
Jonathan MThe vehicle was about about empty. Before I could even leave the lot, I had to put fuel in it. The credit that I received back does not compensate for current gas prices. I put in $50. Used about 1/8 a tank and got $22 credit. Should have been about $40 based on the gas gauge.
James BFirst of all could not find where I was suppose to drop it off. Had to ask someone. No sign or anything. If my husband would of not been with me I would of not dropped it off at all. Sketchy area.
