the guy that was suppose to take the trailer off my car was very rude.. I waited 20 minutes for him to come outside only to see that he had NO clue how to unhook the trailer from my car, I had to do it..He almost jackknifed my car just trying to back it up..I hope no one goes there to get a trailer because they don't know how to hook it to the car, which could be very dangerous if you are traveling long distance like I was!!!

I was delayed loading an hour and a half because some furniture pads were dirty, moldy, wet and smelly. I had to wait almost an hour for replacements to be brought from another location. The turn-in site called me the next day and told me I could return the truck the following day. When I did they charged me for 2 additional days. I feel I am owed a $80 refund!

The entire process was terrible. I called uhaul which quoted me 112 dollars. The representative then gave me the wrong truck. Following calling back, it was then quoted at 170 dollars. Then two days before my date to move they called back and switched pick up locations, which forced me to rent a larger truck which cost 215 dollars. All in all, terrible experience. Will not use uhaul again.

Let me start by saying this will not be a good review. Overall I am disappointed in Uhaul. I reserved a 20' truck on 7/9 for use on 7/15. I chose a pick up spot about 5 miles from my old house. My drop off was 3 miles from my new house. Total driving should have been about 26 miles. Less than 24 hours from my pick up time, I received a call from "Larry" telling me my 20' truck was ready in Troy, Missouri. Troy, MO was an additional 60 miles round trip on what should have been a short trip. I called 1-800UHaul, and despite speaking to several people that tried to help, there was nothing they could do. No other trucks were available. So I woke up extra early, drove to Troy and picked up my truck. After getting the truck to my old house, I opened the door to find the truck full of alfalfa straw! Someone had used this truck to haul hay. I spent the next 20 minutes sweeping out before I could load. When we finally were able to begin loading, we noticed we were short on furniture blankets. Should have had 12, we had 6. We specifically asked the lady at the pick up point if there were 12 in a bag and she said yes. So, to sum it up, I had to drive an additional 60 miles to pick up on what should have been an in town move, was shorted half my furniture blankets, and picked up a filthy truck I had to sweep out. I laughed when I was sweeping to see a warning sticker about charges incurred for bringing back a dirty truck. Uhaul fail.

Lady that checked us in appeared drunk and was NOT friendly on the phone when we called to ask if that was the correct location. Instead of being helpful, she told us to check our receipt. All we needed was for her to double check so we didn't take it to the wrong location. Very rude.

service provider was fairly new and didn't seem to know the process. When I asked how many blankets are in each bag (I had rented 12) I was told just take what you need so I grabbed 1 bag thinking they rent in 12 so there should be 12 but there were 6. Also the second furniture dollie I had rented was not there.

Turned truck in 2 days early and with a eighth tank of fuel extra and they still charged me for 15 miles over with no refund. Was told on phone during reservation that they would refund any unused days. Not good business.

Have someone that knows what they're doing when checking out a customer. The cashier at the gas station took 35 minutes to figure out how to rent the truck to me.

We were given a truck with no Uhaul markings, sporadic air conditioning and dangerous suspension which was a death trap at speeds over 35-40mph. It didn't want to start on multiple occasions and the people helping us move we're making bets about where and how long into the trip the truck would break down. There were several other trucks (very nice) sitting on the lot, they couldn't find keys to one, but we were given the nastiest truck on the lot and had to move to our new subdivision looking like the Clampetts. The same trucks were still sitting in the exact same spots when we returned the nightmare we were assigned. The employee who checked us back in was rude and refused to be helpful. A homeless man had been living in the back of the truck we rented when the previous customer picked it up.

Attendant was nice but this was the first time in all the years of using U-haul that I had to unhook and drop the trailer I rented. Perhaps this is a new policy but the pickup location took care of everything.

Polite but service wise and knowledge was lacking had to redo everything couple of times and just pointed where dolly was and handed me keys and sent me on my way. Did not go to truck with me, had no idea that there were no blankets with truck til I left.

Our 26' trucks transmission went out and we lost almost a whole day of moving. U haul could not provide another 26' truck and we couldn't get a truck till the next morning. We had to waste time between u haul corporate and the Troy location to try and rectify the situation and apparently the two didn't speak to each other. Extremely frustrating. I will never use U haul again and will suggest my friends and family not use them either. Horrible experience.

I rented two uhauls. The first one was clean and no issues. The second uhaul needed swept out before it could be used. It contained broken glass and other dirt and trash that I had to clean out. The paper work process was very long because there was only one employee and they also had to work the gas station side of the business. We had to keep interrupting the process so she could help other customers check out.

This location is a gas station. Lady who assisted to drop off the dolly did not helped with parking and disconnecting the dolly. Most likly because she could not leave the store as there were shoppers inside. It was a little hard to back up without watcher since the dolly is small and hard to see in the mirrors.

I specifically asked the guy behind the counter what the latest time I could return my trailer and he said 3pm. I was unable to make it back by three, but was home by 4. Next morning be charged me for a full day and told me I could have returned it anytime that afternoon. Wtf.

Well the after noon women working the counter was rude an not vary nice I prepaid $100.00 for gas an she never give me the right record at the end I only pumped 30 something in gas in the truck an when I whent back in I had to ask for my record an she give me the wrong ticket an she also took for ever to wait on me she waited on 6 other people be for me when I was at the counter first
