This particular location the service was great all the associates we're great no problem whatsoever and no hassle like the other locations that I went to they were giving me hassle but I would recommend it to come back to this location or to a friend and great customer service everybody there was great they greeted me at the door and the other customers

My reservation was confirmed and a pick-up time was established the day before. When I arrived, the equipment was not ready for pick-up as expected. I had to wait over an hour for the equipment to be ready. There was no explanation or assistance from the Uhaul employee on how to attach the tie down straps on the vehicle trailer. They just handed the keys and left. In all, I was at the Uhaul facility for 1.5 hours before having the vehicle loaded and ready to leave the lot. Poor customer service.

We rent 2 trucks from this location every year, close to 20 years. I would think most people would agree that your trucks would be clean & in good working condition. Not this time, disappointing to find the cab with trash & seat belts buried under the seat. I also think it would be quicker for everyone if the gas tank is returned full.

This truck was dirty inside the cab, water bottle left under seat, interior doors not wiped down. Wipers worked fluid did not. I think trucks should be returned with a full tank of gas, instead of trying to determine what is 3/8th of a tank. We have rented from this location for over 15 years for our churches Christmas project I'm disappointed that we received a truck in such poor condition.

I was over charged miles!!!! After reviewing the bill and the mileage charge said 74.8miles, I knew this was not possible because the longest round trip I've driven was 40 miles and I drove back up to the store after dropping the truck off. And of course, it was nothing they could do even after I calculated my exact routes at desk in the store. He mentioned try to catch this up front and it would easier to address. So it's my fault that I only took pictures of all the damage found on the exterior, and didn't reset the trip reading or took a picture of the actual odometer/mileage reading. I'm 1.9 miles (my location) from this U-haul location. 40 mile round trip to drop off furniture, 1.8 miles from storage place (my location) and then to Salvation Army to donate stuff in Southfield on Greenfield rd is 4.9 miles. From the Salvation Army, to the self-serving car wash on Crooks Rd in Royal Oak is 4.8 miles. From car wash back to this U-haul location is 4 miles. This give me 55.5 miles!!! Because this truck sat most of the day, IT WAS NOT DRIVEN!! Even if I rounded this up 60.5, I'm completely under the 74.8 miles billed!!!! Lesson learned! I will never return to this location and this will never happen again Because pictures of the correct/actual mileage will be obtained, and the trip reset will be performed before I start the vehicle up. I will be sure not to recommend this U-haul location to anyone!! This is complete nonsense being over charged and I know I did not drive almost 80 miles in one day!!!

Attendant failed to tighten trailer to ball hitch and consequently trailer came off ball hitch when loading car. Fortunately, cool thinking prevailed and we were able to secure back on hitch properly before hitting the road. Good thing it happened when loading and not when going over a bump on the road when under way

Considering you don't provide, or rent out straps to hold furniture pieces in place, you're employees could be a little bit more helpful in directing the customer to the most useful ones to purchase. I also don't understand the constraints put on a customer to return the vehicle since you are renting it for the day, you should have the entire day. The extra mileage charge on top of being required to stop and refill the gas tank doesn't make much since either, especially when you receive the vehicle with less than a 3/4 of a tank, and return it with a full tank.

The moving blankets that I had paid for were not in the truck and had to proceed with my move without them. I made a reservation so that the truck would be ready because of my tight schedule and was unable to stop my movers to go back and pick them up.

Mobile check-out did not work. Did not receive appliance dolly I ordered. Truck was beat up. Refund for dolly not present at check-in. Was promised $15 refund by staff on duty for inconvenience that was not received.
