Driver's side visor anchor was ripped out of head-liner leaving the visor to wave back and forth. It was a serious distraction and a safety concern. I used packing tape to secure it.

This is a reply to an initial purchase and installation of a trailer hitch on my Audi A4. Reservation: 24849334 to be Installed on:8/16/2018 at U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE OF SOUTH END 1415 S DETROIT TOLEDO, OH 43614 (419) 382-5155 I made a reservation on line days before and dropped off the car on the 8/15. Due to miscommunication between the hitch suppler and your store, the wrong hitch was sent. The store reschedule the installation for 8/17 but the hitch did not arrive due to backorder or something like that. No one contacted me in time to make other arrangements. I was under a tight schedule by then and had no choice but to order your van. The cost of the trailer was $60 and the van ended costing me $224. I decided to cancel my hitch installation due to lack of follow up. I called several times to get my money refunded but no call back. I am still waiting... I guess U Haul doesn't care about customer service....

I was told a different price on the phone than what I was charged (30 dollars more!) I needed a hook up to tow a pop up, which I explained to them. I got a truck that had the wrong connection. I was told that I would be contacted with in the hour for my conformation. I had to call to find out that it had been schedualled over 20 minutes prior. I ended up needing to drive 45 minutes away to get a truck that I had to then drive illegally and that I was charged more than what I was initially told. I will NEVER go through this business again. 300 bucks for 4 hours of driving, what a waste.

The computers were down when I arrived for pick up and the lone guy in the store was amazing in a very challenging situation. He is a great staff member! Wish I could remember his name. His manager was nowhere to be seen and he did a great job! You need a paper backup for reservations in case the computers go down. I got my truck thankfully and the equipment was in outstanding condition. Good experience!

I had called, different location, regarding pick-up time and was told the truck was not available at that location. They were going to get back to me regarding where to pick up the truck when they found one available but the time would still be 9:00. I had to call back, just before 9:00 because they did not. Again, it was not this location.

I reserved a 26 foot truck two weeks ago that was co confirmed and ready to go. But when I got there to get my truck today up you guys didnt even have my truck for me. And now you trying to charge me extra. Hell no. How you about to charge me extra! When you didn't have my truck that I RESERVED.

I arranged for a trailer rental online along with directions to the pick up location and a preset time. I arrived at the address agreed through the online process and the location was closed for remodeling and the trailer I had rented was NOT at the location. Fortunately, the person doing the remodeling called the corporate office and located the location the trailer was sitting. Half an hour away. I made the trip. Picked up the trailer approximately an hour later than scheduled. Returned the trailer at the same time the following day and was billed for returning the trailer late by the corporate timer. The group at the location fixed the bill and ultimatley I was not charged the late fee, just irritated as the whole “problem” should never have taken place.

I was given a drop off of a different address but was passing this location and pulled in to se if I could drop off. Before going in I called and after being on hold for 10 mins. Someone answered and told me I needed to speak with scheduling. I spoke to a wonderful and very helpful women in the scheduling and was told she would send this location the info needed so that I could return truck. When entering this facility, no one was at the registers and I waited did approximately 5-7 mins before someone came out of a back room. I explained that someone had sent him info so that I could return the truck at this location. He immediately with an attitude said he has nothing sent to him. I explained that I was just in the phone with someone and they said they had. He again with attitude said he had nothing. I asked regardless of him receiving info or not would he be able to except the truck. With attitude he said he didn’t say he would take the truck and then said oh I just got the info. It’s not complete so who ever sent it is lazy. He then took the keys and headed out the door, looking back told me next time to park the truck under the overhang, it would have been helpful. I believe this young man needs some work in customer service and also an attitude adjustment on working with fellow workers. This young man does not change my feelings about using UHaul just this particular location.
