Picked up truck got it to location and back wouldn't open, called and got told we had to call roadside. Finally got to switch out truck since it took an hour to get ahold of roadside and it would take them another 90 minutes to get there. Original truck was 20 ft, New truck was 15 ft. When returning truck, was over charged and girl in office was very rude and unprofessional, making comments to us and other customers while we were being helped by another employee. She was very unprofessional in a management position and I was overcharged and when we questioned it she got extremely rude and would not even look at the overcharge. Due to this incident I will not use uhaul again.

The lady that I dealt with was great and provided excellent customer service but there is such a disconnect throughout the entire business. I wanted to initially pickup a truck in Gibsonburg, OH. Online, it allowed me to reserve a truck. No sooner than I made the reservation, a lady from UHaul inside support called me to explain that there were no trucks available there. After searching, she was able to find one 23 miles from me which was a tad inconvenient but she made up for it with a promotional rate. She also provided outstanding customer service and really worked hard to find what I needed. She said she would be in contact the next day to confirm a 15 ft truck but she would also look to see if any had freed up closer to me. The following day, another lady called me, also providing me with outstanding service but she seemed to be completely out of the loop with what was going on with my reservation. After explaining it, she confirmed that there was a 15 ft truck available but stated she couldn't give me the promotional rate the previous lady could, however, she said she would give me some miles to make up for it and my total would be around $70, which was satisfactory to me. When I went to pickup the truck, I didn't realize that you absolutely needed to be at UHaul to pick up the truck at the time stated. I had already paid for the truck and on our way, a sales representative called and stated that my reservation was for 7:30 AM and I only had half an hour to collect the truck. If I paid for it, what difference would it make what time I pick it up? I made a reservation and paid for it- it wasn't even an hour later and I'm already chancing losing my reservation and money - ridiculous. Once I arrived, as stated previously, the woman that was helping me was great, however, she couldn't honor my deal unless I drove to the downtown location to pick up a 15 ft. truck. I did not have time to do that so I ate the cost and took the 15 ft truck they had. All in all, the only thing that saved this survey from completely being terrible were there wonderful women that tried their hardest to reserve a truck for me. Please get it together for a seamless experience beginning at your website and ending with your store locations.

They charged my card for another day because they never checked in my vehicle. The guy who was supposed to check my truck in was too busy talking to a customers that even before I walked up to the counter to hand in my keys I was waiting a good 10 minutes in line. The staff is also very unprofessional as well. I will never go to the location again!!

Vehicle was dirty and the transmission sounded like it was going to blow up on the 20' I rented. Also the oil light was on the whole time and when I told the attendant they said don't worry about it.

Computers were down for 30 minutes. Vehicle appeared clean but 20 minutes down the road my follow vehicle noticed a slice in the rear tire. When I called to use the insurance, it wouldn't work because the woman who made my contract imputed my address, phone number, and did not include my email on the contract, even though it showed correct on the pin pad at check out. So I had to jump through hoops and wait 3 hours to finally have the tire changed.

Truck was causing me problems was hesitating and when it was hesitating it mad a burning smell. I tried calling Thursday night no one answered. I tried to call and tell them I don't feel safe driving the truck back at night when it's acting up. And me and my daughter not have a ride home. So as soon as I woke up I brought the truck back on the way back the GM of pick up and drop off location called me. I told her situation and that Id was going to take it slow because it was training and snowing out and I didn't trust the truck. I said in about an hour at approximately 11:30 so that would be 12:30. I got there around 12:15. Explained to worker outside situation she said she would be right back she was going to test drive truck. Just before that she said did you go on away with it I said yea that was easier way to get from storage to apartment and to drop off my helpers. She said did you go over 55 I said speed limit is 65 she said that is why. Was back in 5 minutes told GM nothing is wrong with truck I said well she just told me about speed thing no one mentioned that to me. GM argued with me saying she gave me my contract and she never did. She was very rude said she remembered my face knew she highlighted important info knew I signed I remember signing but dont remember getting a copy.this is the 3rd or 4th time I've gotten a truck from this location first truck problem first employee problem. I need another truck beginning of February If I get on it will be from a different location the Detroit ave in Toledo Ohio has become trashy.
