I used 18.56 l of gasoline to go 25 miles I don't think that the fuel tank was completely full, it did say full on the gas gauge but it should not have taken that much to fill in up after I was finished.Richard D.

The 24/7 pickup option through the app on my phone was a nightmare. And it took 15 minutes for approval once it got sorted out. Also, there was maintenance issues with the truck such as the right indicator not working properly and the fuel gauge wasn't reading properly.Tanner H.

Truck was not at the location ( Address list on invoice), truck was not wiped down or sanitized (Covid 19). Have to all customer service put on hold with out being told wait 5 or more mins then get someone else spend from 845 to after 11 to finally have my info released and someone find the the location of the truck that was a block away from the address provided by U-Haul.Chara O.

The whole process was exceptionally stressful, I have a cell with no data, so the whole electronic check in thing made me angry. The vehicle was NOT available in my preferred location so I had to drive 60 km to pick up and drop off. I only needed it for one load, an hour max, but it turned into a much longer event. Then I could not get in touch with anyone to let them know it had been returned. Dump that electronic check in mess.Daryln C.

Get your act together. A couple of day before the pick up of the moving van. I was contacted by your office in Winnipeg and was told my pickup location was changed. This made it very inconvenient due to the distance i would have to travel to pick it up. The next day I received another phone from the office in Winnipeg. This time saying the 20' van was no longer available and U haul would give us a 26' van. The pick up location changed again, and had to travel even further to pick it up. The day before I was to pick the 26' van up, I received a call from the local dealer in Thunder Bay and reserved the van. A few minutes after that, I received an other call from another dealership in Thunder Bay, saying they had my 20' van available. That day I also received an email saying my contract has been cancelled. I inquired with the dealership in Thunder Bay, Blackfoot Baits, and luckily they keep our reservation. On the local level the customer service was excellent.Joseph H.

U-Haul was great. I rented the 26 foot truck and it was great. The only thing I wish was different was I had to keep the steering wheel tilled to the left to keep it driving straight. It needs to be adjusted other than the rental was fantastic.Ryan B.

Ditch or upgrade the app/contactless experience. It was a disfunctional shit show that almost caused me to throw both my wife and my cell phone into lake superior. It tells you to login to a service that you don't have an account for, and doesn't provide an opportunity to create said account. I got locked into a loop with my location settings and ended up having to reinstall Google chrome in order to have the settings work properly. Waited 20 mins on hold while all this was happening only to be cut off without talking to someone. I was absolutely infuriated at this point. All in all I arrived for my 8 am rental at 725am and didn't drive away until 830am. More than a wasted hour when I had 6 people waiting to help move at a scheduled time, left a very bad taste in my mouth. Also I was told by a police officer that there was a reverse indicator light out on the truck. Everything except for the contactless portion of this rental was more or less good.Jayke W.

Get rid of the lady that works there or send her for training on how to deal with people properly she needs it shouldn't be dealing with the public she has an attitude makes me want to record interactions because she lies straight out my experience was not good equipment was rusty truck almost out of oil trailer came off the truck then she charged for three days only used 2 days on truck and 1 day for trailer she charged me for 3 days on both I told her I was told I would have an extension on my return but she just says nope and proceeded to charge me big was not impressed she probably takes advantage of a lot of people that just pay because they have to not cool how many people just accept it i asked her as a courtesy if I could pick up trailer on my way through t bay as it would be quite late so I didn't have to come in from red Rock in the morning she said no problem then charge me another day not cool then she lied and said she never said that but she did and she knew what I meant she still charged me she was angry because I went to nipigon u haul were the guy put some oil in the truck it barely showed on the dip stick iwas charged another day on both because I was 2 hrs late but I lost 2 to 3 hrs when the trailer came of the truck I said I was told I had extended return time she said nope like she enjoyed that the trailer should only be one day rental on trailer that's all I asked for i shouldn't have been charged for 2 day let alone 3 days i had to pay $ 665.65 for 2 days on truck and one day on trailer it was way more than I was quoted on the phone I was very clear when I asked if there were any other hidden charges for anything at all I was told no but was charged more really not fair I can't afford all thatRichard B.

The self check in using a phone was difficult. Had I been prepared in knowing that I had to list two secondary Id's (passport, phone numbers etc) it would have made it a bit easier. But it wasted so much time as I didn't have the right info on me. And didn't realize someone was calling contacts- as the ones I listed weren't home. Luckily the lady at the shop was working and was able to assist us. We spent over 30 mins waiting to just get the U-Haul. Thumbs down for that as we were in a rush. I was also told when I booked this truck that we could pick it up at 8 am. And then was told the day before not until 9 am. Only an hour but it made a big impact on our day- tied up with the wait to even get the truck once we got on scene at 9 am. Overall take away the self check in with a phone. It's awful. Let's deal with real ppl.Daniel B.
