They didn’t even walk us to our truck. We spent 10 minutes outside walking around their entire lot trying to figure out which truck was ours. They didn’t show us where the key drop box was for when we return. When we asked them they just said “bring it to the office”, even though they would be closed. The drop box ended up being at the back of the building. Uhaul had to cancel our original reservation which was 4Km from our moving location and they matched us with a truck 14 Km from our moving location. This is ridiculous. It came out to almost 22 Km that we did not intend to drive/use plus the additional gas that wa spend driving those 14km back and forth when taking the truck and dropping it off. Overall a horrible experience. Will look into another company in the future.

They weren’t really accurate on the amount of gas that was in the vehicle. I was on the road before I realized. Too late to return, didn’t seem worth it

Signed a contract indicating 3/8 of a tank of fuel. Van had slightly more than half. Returned van with 3/8 but the contract emailed to me the next day indicated the van started with 5/8 of a tank. Turned out I had signed somebody else's contract for an entirely different vehicle. I'm assuming somebody signed mine. Nobody at this location would remove the $23 fuel charge even though the contract I signed was honoured (returned it with 3/8 of a tank). I'm not a person who requires a sparkling customer service experience but this location's service people bordered on rude, both at the initial pick up and as I was trying to resolve the fuel issue the next day. I shudder to think what the legal ramifications were of driving around a vehicle I hadn't signed for. Lesson learned...check the contract. Left turn signal didn't work all day and I was so irritated by the fuel issue that I neglected to inform them of this when I returned the vehicle which is only going to be an irritant for the next customer. Sorry. Suspension had almost had it...but what do I care, right? it was just a one day rental. I rented a U box from Kamloops, BC earlier in February to be delivered to another location in the GTA and that went swimmingly well. Belongings arrived with no issues and staff at the Warden Avenue location were polite and helpful, if crazy busy.

Proper maintenance of the vehicle, the change oil light was lit when i used the vehicle, it’s very concerning that the vehicle might break down while am using it. Besides that the experience was good.

The problem that I had with the car was the high amount of snow on the front window. I needed to clean it with my hands as I did not have access to the back to grab the spade due to the snow. Other things were good

If trucks had snow brushes that would be a huge help in the winter in Toronto, Canada. Thankfully the uhaul office staff was there and lent me a small one because the truck was buried in lotsss of snow and ice when I picked it up but he was leaving shortly after so if he wasn't there I'm not sure how I would've driven it safely with all that snow and ice.



Simply clean the interior of the car from Timmy empty cups, half empty water bottle, fill the windshield washer liquid, and wipe the cargo area But who cares, there is a big demand

Get friendlier desk staff. Make them clean the truck after each use, especially the cargo area. And absolutely enforce a truck usability inspection after each use. The cargo door on our truck was almost impossible to close even with the weight of two adults pushing it down..

Trust was very dirty. Multiple furniture prices and mattress need to be cleaned due to the dirty truck. Also no windshield washer in the truck.

Let people know that the trucks they are renting are not in Klm and are in Mph. It was very hard to read the speedometer and see with sticker over the 60mph mark saying don’t speed.

Not very polite I get that I'm renting a moving truck but a simple thank you would be nice. The owner refused to exchange the truck after the first day due to size issues without paying for the truck all over again the parking lot was full with trucks I'm not sure why this is such an issue.

The guys went to get a coffee during my pick up time. So I got delayed in terms of picking up. The price that they mentioned was over 100$ while online gross estimate was no more than 45$ Also in Canada we drive in km and price is 0.49cents per km yet on the bill they charge the difference in miles for the same km so those chinese employee scam customers for miles use and 1.6 km=1 mile so my driving cost 93 km which they put on miles and got a difference in their pockets. I definitely wont recommend to use that location

Circle entry off Steele’s Ave is too tight for a 20 Ft truck. I had to back up with cars behind me



Both the driver's door and the passenger's door would sometimes not close properly. Overall, good experience.

The window washer fluid was not filled, and the floor of the van was disgusting. Other than that everything else worked just fine.



I returned the truck at 1pm and the office was closed. The sign says open but no one was inside. The truck cabin was very dirty.

ON the website wan't mentioned that there is deposit needed upon arrival before we get the truck. deposit also should be paid by credit card only, that make it absolutely inconvenient. Also I wan't informed that location we need to pick up truck and I had to call and find out by myself. customer service is very poor.

There was a problem with the online order: I reserved to pick up the truck at a different location, but during confirmation, I was not told that the location had changed to this location which made the pickup troublesome as I had to navigate through the city to the correct site. However, I don't know if this was an error on this location, or on the online system in general.

Booking the uhaul online was not a great experience. The vehicle we booked, location and price all contradicted themselves when checking in online. It took three further calls to rectify the issues. The truck was not clean but tolerable however the oil level was below minimum and I had to ask to have it topped up. Overall uhaul served it's purpose but if I were a location manager I would realize that there is much competition out there and would attempt to have my vehicles in better shape. We are moving our second apartment in January and I suspect we will look at the competitors before deciding. Sincerely
