The sign on the door said to drop off the keys and keep the vehicle locked, but I only had a trailer so I had no keys to drop off and nothing to lock. I had no clue what to do, so I just dropped the trailer off and took photos to prove that I dropped it off.

Clean the inside of the rental more often would be a huge help. I had to sweep a lot of dirt out of the truck before loading in my furniture.

The morning I went to pick up the 10' truck that I reserved ahead, I was told that the truck is not available. They gave me a 9' van instead. There was no communication or notification at all. This has brought me so much trouble. My furnitures couldn't fit in all at once as planned, so I had to book and pay extra time for the movers and Elevator time for both condo buildings as well. When I called customer service they told me there's nothing they can do to help which is very frustrating. I won't trust Uhaul again definitely wouldn't recommend.

U-Haul should drop Aucomm as a supplier. The truck was filthy and had a used mask and a bunch of papers left behind, it was clearly not cleaned before I got the truck. The representative at Aucomm was too lazy to do an inspection of the truck when he gave me the keys. When I got the bill, I found out that Aucomm charged me $50 to clean the mess that was already in the truck when I got it. These are horrible business people and tarnish the reputation of U-Haul. I'm still waiting on U-Haul to make this right by refunding me the cleaning fee.

The main attendant is rude and unprofessional. He gives wrong information about rental process and is not trust worthy. The truck I rented needs a serious attention to the steering system. The vehicle pulls to the left, when driving, and needs a lot of experience to keep it straight on the road. I have rented uhaul trucks in Ohio, Quebec and Ontario and 100 Steeles Avenue location is the only place I had such a bitter experience. I love uhaul, but would never ever rent and pick up any truck from this location even if that is the only location they are available.

the ability to register by cell phone and drive away is FLAWED and never works - this is the 4th time I rented and it is the 4th time I needed to go to the front desk of the rental shop to get the keys

Most unprofessional U-Haul rent location I have ever seen in my life. I booked the 9ft cargo van but after I receive I found that van doesn't have tire pressure and it took another 45 minutes to fix that. The van was also very dirty, never cleaned or sanitized. In passenger side door I found food packet left. In this covid situation this is most expected. They charged my for Gas which is also extra even after I fill up the gas with required level. I have total horrible experience and will not recommend to any one.

I got into the truck to find donut wrappers and coffee cup lids on the floor. I went on my way, used the van to move a few boxes and returned it in same condition I found it in. The person working that day charged my account a $25 cleaning fee because I left a "paper on the floor" and the back door was "dirty". Absolutely terrible service, the van itself was fine and I got the job done but I felt like I was treated like garbage.

The day I picked up I found that the uhaul employee's were not personable at all. Other than that the truck was not clean. Knowing we are calling Uhaul that essential they could at least clean the trucks from the previous customers.....

Unfortunately the owners are very rude and irresponsible. I needed a truck for a day, I paid the full day rate ( for 24 hours), but the owners kept saying how I am only allowed to keep the truck for 7 hours and if I return it after 11:00pm on the same day, I'd be charged a penalty fee. Also when I received the truck it was really dirty and smelly, the owners don't care about the sanitation of the cars which is critical these days for Covid-19. I cleaned the trunk and sanitized the steering wheel before returning the truck. The store location even has no sanitizers in the store for customers, and the owner don't care about the social distancing rules and limits.

I was charged an extra 32$ and I do not know why, I dropped off the uhaul Saturday. I did leave a lock on teh back accidentally but I took that off Sunday morning. My total experience with uhaul this move was horrendous

Aucomm Car Rental were so rude. You should not let those people represent uhaul. Very poor customer service, no cooperation at all, will not recommend to go there ever. Horrible experience. He told me the fuel is full and i should fill it full. it was 3/4 , i told him so, he said fill it to 3/4, so i did fill it more than 3/4. in the end they charged me about 9$ for fuel. i called later, he did not take any responsibility and said i should call uhaul , I did and they said i shall email the picture i took for the fuel, I did send the picture to the given address, I still did not get any answer..

DO NOT USE U-HAUL. This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever been a part of. There were a number of different things that went wrong 1. the day before, I was informed that they changed my reservation 2. I had to return my truck to the same location 3. They charged me for returning it a day late, even though I did not and 4. they charged me an extra fuel charg, again even though, I returned it at the same fuel level. TERRIBLE customer service

Rude and very unprofessioal. The reps., told me tgatbit was my job to inspect the cargo trailer light and frame. I drove off and made it to the Wendy's near keele and 407 and the cargo trailer fell off and it my rear bumper. P.s. I had my wife and 4 small children in the car. I'm pissed off and contimating suing uhaul fir the reps., negligence.

The location charges hidden charges that are not disclosed to customers. For example they charge $20 for returning the vehicle after hours. I drove the truck for 5 miles, added gas to the tank and the location charged me $50 for refueling charge. I complained about my bill and have not heard back from anyone. This place is fraudulent and would not recommend this to anyone.

This was by far my smoothest rental experience. We were in and out in 5 min. The vehicle was in very good condition and we paid exactly what we were told we would. No hidden charges

Make sure the vehicle is clean. There was a used mask and other garbage in the front when I went to go drive it. I already sent a picture when uhual texted me to confirm the vehicle I was getting

Everything was great except for the ease of picking up the truck. It was not complicated but I just spent too much time to find what to do. Also, when dropping it, I was on the phone for more than 20 minutes because the interior room light in the cabin did not turn off. It could certainly be shorter to get to someone that tells me what to do or just leave it as is. The good part was the car. It was in a good shape and very clean. The help line was relatively quick to get to someone but one of the operator just kept me waiting too long. Location was great and overall a good experience.

The storage area of the van needs a little more attention it is not been cleaned properly. Normally I would clean it, yesterday I could not because of how dirty it was. ( there was toilet paper and oil spill). just a little attention is needed. i have a picture if needed.

i reserved 10 foot truck and when i was at the location i had to rent 9` semi dirty truck, needless to say they dont have any covid related concerns. the person who give the keys, he is very rue and unprofessional, you have to understand that people need these trucks in strict timeframe, overall its a very bad experience and i dont recommend anyone to use uhaul, the customer experience shouldnt like this.

At reservation, the website indicated the ability to pick up truck before opening hour, they didn't set it up. I ended up wasting hour and half waiting for the store to open, and the guy in the store just said they got alot of key stolen, so they didn't do pickup outside business hour. I don't know why he wouldn't just tell me that when I try to confirm that the day before. At return, the online return site also glitch out, and went directly to last page, which instruct me to drop off the key. I needed up needing to call into customer service after I notice the return never closed. U-haul really needs to fix their website, and Aucomm needs to change their pick up option, if they aren't going to have 24/7 pick up service. Other then I wasted alot of time that day, the customer service reps are polite and helpful, the guy in the store was apologetic, and truck is decently clean and pretty good condition, at the end they over charged a few km more, but whatever.

I left the truck with 1/4 tank of gas, more then I got in it. But because my trip was like 10 km more then I booked, I got charged $3.75 more. This was not taken into consideration. I beleive that is bad customer service, and left the company in a better position.

The cargo vans should actually be inspected to make sure that they are clean before the next person uses them. Also, when the location hours say 9-4 then someone should be there until that time. Not leave and close the store for 2 pm. I was also charged for gas when I have pictures that show the tank was full. This location is not very good and I will try my hardest not to have to use it again.

There was a foul smell coming from in the truck. They had the door opened venting out the smell but didn't notice when I pick up the truck but an hour and a half travelling to my destination I in counter the smell and reported to U-haul.

The trailer was in respectable condition. That said, while the electrical system worked the wiring harness terminals were well worn, and the ground had exposed wires. Suggest the harness be replaced.

Reservation system needs serious upgrading. The day before our move we got a notification that what we had reserved 6 weeks prior was no longer available (what's the point of a reservation then?) so we had to go to a location much further away and pick up at a much later time which had serious effects on our moving plans. I will not be using uhaul again, it is way too unreliable.

The attendant did not do a vehicle walk-through with me. The fuel guage was marked as fuel on the check-out receipt even though it wasn't. I had the gas tank back to nearly full on return and they still charged a fuel surcharge.

When I dropped off the vehicle after hours, it indicated that I had no reservation or rental under my name. I had to stand in the cold for 30 mins trying to figure out why there was no reservation under my name despite paying. There was a glitch in the system or someone didn't properly book my truck. Also, charging a flat rate for a trip is clearly scam. Don't plan on using uhaul in the future ever. False advertised price. This is not the uhaul I used to know
