New staff person - not properly trained on U-Haul rental procedures. Phone calls back and forth with the manager on how to proceed. Only one staff person in the store/gas station/Mr.Sub/U-Haul rental desk. No paperwork. Spent over an hour just picking up the truck. I had reserved a 15’ truck. They had a 10’ and a 20’ on the lot. We were forced to take the 20’. Same when we returned the truck. Waited over an hour while the clerk took care of other customers. We had to pay over $300.00 for a move within the town of Ingersoll. Truck was from the USA and only displayed miles, not kilometres. We drove 17 miles in that truck from pick up to return. Never doing business with this store again.

Keaghan CThis rating isnt based on the service at Pioneer. Its based on the poor service by Uhaul. I rented a 10ft truck because we didnt have very much to pick up and a 10ft truck is more manageable to drive. We were forced to take a 15ft truck because the 10ft truck wasnt available, even though we reserved it. We also reserved a furniture dolly but when we arrived, there were none available. We were forced to drive to the Clarke Rd London location and pick up a furniture dolly. This ate into our mileage as well as the gas we were forced to pay for this detour. The dolly was also 14$ rather than 7$ because I didnt want to drive BACK to Clarke Rd location to drop off the dolly, since my dropoff location for the truck was back at Pioneer in Thamesford
