The owner was not personable. He called repeatedly the day before (we answered every time) to verify our rental. On his final call he asked what time we would be picking up the truck. We replied "8am" and he said the he doesn't usually get in til about a quarter after so "don't freak out" if he isn't there at eight. Even though the establishment OPENS at eight. He didn't get there until 8:45! No apology or anything. Overall it just was not a pleasant experience.

For U-Haul Corporate-- I made my reservation at the Rutledge store in Snowflake,Az for a 26 foot truck and a car dolly. You changed my reservation to Showlow AZ over 20 miles away and changed the size of the truck to 20 feet and did not let me know till I showed up at the Rutledge store.I left there and stopped by the Taylor AZ store ( muffler master) and they had a 20 foot truck and a car dolly. Kris was good enough to move my reservation to his store. This was 17 miles closer than Showlow. I am not very pleased with your corporate service and communication. I rent from U-Haul at least once a year without questions. I will look at other truck rental companies in the future for better customer service.

They were small as is fitting in a small town, but their service and friendliness was top-notch. Assistance and care throughout the whole rental experience was exactly what you expect as a customer of Uhaul. Or of anyone else for that matter. They were great.

This was a fantastic experience. Your telephone reps were extremely accommodating. I changed my reservation a couple of times and they were so helpful. The location in Taylor is excellent! Chris Neff called me on the phone to confirm the reservation and ask if there was anything else I needed. Mr. Neff provided us with excellent customer service. This is the second time I have dealt with the Uhaul in Taylor AZ. Both experiences have been good. His office is clean, he shows options for buying boxes and packing supplies. The office in Leavenworth was closed when we dropped off, however I called the number to notify we had dropped off and a rather polite man with a British accent assisted us. He was very nice. Uhaul will be our first choice if we ever need to move again. Everyone we dealt with was polite, helpful, communicated clearly and really made this experience good.

November 7, 2016 To: Complaint department From: Brittany Echols 928-951-3628 Master order number: 20138483 On Sunday, August 21, 2016 I placed an order with U-haul requesting four u-boxes thinking that this will be a less stressful way to move from Arizona to Oregon especially with just having a baby cesarian one month before moving. Not only was it the worst experience I have ever had with this company, ( and we've used U-haul a lot) it took time away from my kids to be on the phone trying to sort this mess out. The first headache began when we found out that the only location we could pick them up at did not offer delivery of the U-boxes. And to add to that they only had on double trailer to transport the boxes from their location to our house which was over thirty minutes per one way. When my husband got to the location to have the boxes loaded he had to coach the worker on how to use a forklift because they were unfamiliar with how to use it. After my husband was at the location for over an hour he was finally on his way home to load the two boxes. He loaded them up and then had to take them back that night to get our last two boxes. Not only did the employees of U-haul have a hard time loading the boxes they had a very hard time unloading them as well. Once my husband had made several trips back and forth back and forth we decided we needed another box to fit the rest of our belongings in bringing the U-box total to five. On September 7, 2016 all five boxes were returned to the White Mountain Lakeside U-haul location with the departure date of September 10, 2016 guaranteed arrival on September 18, 2016 and delivery on September 19, 2016 at our house in Oregon. But when we dropped off the fifth box the U-haul employee did not input the data into the computer stating that all of our boxes were there and ready for pick up. On September 9, 2016 I received an email stating that changes were made to our U-box reservation and the amount it was going to cost us to get our boxes to our house on time went from $3230 to $7267. I called that location and they tried telling me that because I added a fifth box, and because they forgot to document that all the boxes were there and that there wasn't enough room on the truck to send all of them as per the scheduled date. And if I want to keep that date then I would have to pay the expedited fee of $7267. I filed a complaint and said because they are the ones who forgot about our boxes should not be that we pay to have our items delivered on the day we originally had scheduled. Especially since we had already had movers scheduled and other services scheduled for our home in Oregon all around the September 19, 2016 delivery. On September 9, 2016 I received another email stating that our boxes had been shipped out and they would arrive in Oregon on September 18, 2016. I called to double check that they were shipped.
