Reserved a 10 fit truck over the phone. Went to pick up and they said they had no 10 ft trucks, that my reservation was for a cargo van. What??? Manager ther is rude, unhelpful and unaccomodationg. Today I just found out my 26 ft truck that was suppose to be picked up at this location, that I reserved over a month in advance has to be picked up on adamo dr.. what?!!!! I have had 2 horrible experiences with u-Hal in 30 days. And another one a few years ago. This sucks. I’m so sad ??

The U-Haul technician incorrectly wired our hitch attachment. We elected to do it here because we thought they’d know how to do it easily as this is their speacility...big mistake. When we came to pick up the cargo trailer we couldn’t attach it. This resulted in hours of waiting after which they said this will be fixed by the next day. The manager on duty wasn’t too helpful and kept saying he’s “busy with other customers” while we kept waiting on something that should’ve been taken care of weeks ago. I’m addition, you could NEVER reach them by phone, calls get rerouted to another location and the people who pick up are polite but not helpful with any resolution of problems. TERIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The manager Travis Rusnell is phenomenal. Very helpful even goes way beyond in customer service. The assistant manager Adam Philloe is no different they are 5 stars across the board

Better customer service. When returning our Uhaul we were scolded for not "following the signs" for return of our truck, however, we were not told any information on how to return the truck upon pick up. When approaching the building we were told where to go, after we went to the wrong area, however, while my husband rerouted I went inside to get checked out and the representative at the desk looked at me like I was an idiot and told me there are signs outside, they will help you out there. I said oh, ok, sorry no one mentioned this to us when we rented earlier. As I turned to walk out, again he said in a very sarcastic tone, ".... there are signs everywhere." I could do without the sarcasm and rudeness. Customers are paying YOU for a service. We don't need to be belittled. We don't rent trucks everyday and I was completely turned off the way I was treated. I am a 33 year old business owner of three businesses, I would NEVER speak to a customer this way, and if any of my employees did, I would be appalled. I will not use this location again.

The customer service at this location is poor. I have been renting and buying boxes from this location now for over a year. They take the order just fine, charge just fine and then leave me to collect all the boxes, tape and other moving items from around the store. They never offer to assist with caring the items even to the door.

When picking up the vehicle I was instructed to go to the Returns area when returning the truck, and that someone would be there to help me. Simple enough. Upon return I went there and parked the vehicle in the spot instructed to, and as per the MULTIPLE LARGE signs instructing me to 'stay in the vehicle and await an attendant' momentarily - no one attended to me for full out ten minutes. Only when I went into the sales office did someone step up to process my return. If such signs are posted and this is a procedure that you want followed, there must be practices in place to ensure that you can keep up your end of the customer service relationship. Don't ask for something to be done for no reason / if you can't support that request.

I believe his name was Tyler.. I think. I remember his last name being weird because he said he’s Italian. But he took care of us on Sunday and was amazing. We had such a long stresssful week of moving and he made us laugh the entire time while being in there. He was such a great help and has great customer service skills.

We were told to drop the keys in the drop box if we would be returning after store hours, which we did before 4:00am on 5/13/18. Because the equipment we rented was not checked in until 9:37am, and our contract listed 9:18am as out time, we were charged for an additional day. A credit for $45 is being processed to correct the overcharge. This is just another consequence of this location being understaffed. Please also see previous review for this contract number.

We were late returning the truck. My husband called as soon as we knew we would not be able to return it on time, and got the contract extended. A couple hours later I received a call from the manager, Travis Rusnell. There was no reason for his call except to chew me out, and let me know how much anxiety I had caused him, and that I needed to reserve all future trucks for a day longer than I expected that I will need them. Unfortunately we will need to rent for a while longer until we can purchase our own truck for our new business. I am removing my phone number from my account with U-haul. Mr. Rusnell has abused the privilege of having it. When we returned the truck my husband asked the U-haul employee why her manager was so heavy handed with me. Her reason was they are understaffed. I have heard this too from other employees at that U-Haul, Town 'N Country on Hillsborough Ave, Tampa.

I will not recommend the location to my friends except of convenience. The person at drop off was very rude and he flatly refused to help me remove the harness and quoted that its not in the policy. When I asked about the policy he said he didnt have time to pull the policy and he was very rude. I have to remove the car harness and get the car down the troley myself. Please avoid the location if you can.

I picked up my truck after hours and the dolly I had reserved was not in the truck. I called the customer service number and they said it would be removed from my bill, it wasn’t. When I checked out I marked my bill as incorrect and it wasn’t fixed. When I got the receipt the next day in my email I responded back saying that the dolly was still not removed and have heard nothing back. I don’t think I will rent from Uhaul again.
