I tried online checkin with the app. That took much longer so i decided to go in and checkin using the agent inside. Online checkin should be faster otherwise there is no incentive to use it.

The employees at the U-Haul location we're very personable, courteous and helpful. I would definitely go back to that location. The only reason for the 4-star is because the truck that I had ran a bit rough. It was revving high the whole time that I had it. I didn't bother to exchange it because I only used it for a short time. I did let them know at the store though.

The truck had mechanical issues. It pulled badly to the right and the wipers were shot.

Employee was very rude. When I told the manager about how rude the employee was he seemed To not be concerned. Apparently customer service is not their strong suit. I will choose a different location next time I need to rent a truck!

Up charges on my quote. I put the same amount of gas that was given to me and they said I was a hair under a half a tank. I disagree with this and have my daughter as a witness. I will pay this but will never use U-Haul again. I will use Penske moving forward. The next thing I do is go on my Twitter and Facebook account to let the world know to beware of these tactics.

The guy who assisted me was awesome. I wish I remembered his name. I did all the online paperwork with a picture of my license, however, it still took a little longer than I expected it should with several of the forms needing to be reviewed again when I got to the store. All in all, for 20 bucks to rent a trailer for a few hours, I can assure you I'll never buy one (thought about it), just continue to rent from you guys.

2 hours after I returned the cargo van , I was called and asked " when would I be returning the cargo van" When I returned the 26 ft truck I wad told I changed the mileage and the fuel level. It was so bizarre, I really don't know what to say.

For every rental should NEVER be assumed to add charges for blankets or dollies as when we rent (being a moving company) customer may have all these items. Should be items or questions asked at the time of rental, not to find out when paying and not having been provided with any of the items charged for. Also when returned on-time customer should not be charged for additional day. Not doing a full walk through of the truck to verify mileage and gas as well, instead of the customer having to go back inside the office as the mark ups on truck sheet were not accurate and getting incorrectly charged on this as well.

The gas tank had less than a quarter when I got in the truck they had me sign that I had a half of tank before I got to the truck fortunately I've learned to use my cell phone to take pictures of everything when I rent from U-Haul seems to be the modus operandi every time. The maintenance man was very friendly and told the girl in the office that the tank amount was wrong truck had lots of miles on it kind of bounced around the road a little bit in the front end. She adjusted it but it seems like that happens every time so I thank God for cell phones that I can take pictures of everything
