I realize practicalities regarding staffing and profits but more people are needed at this location. The wait was and is too long for rental equipment. There were only two people working.

The overall experience with U-Haul was beyond unacceptable. I honestly can not comprehend how your company has even stayed open with the amount of confusion and wild goose chases I endured trying to rent the equipment that I needed. I honestly will never rent from U-Haul again. I would rather spend the extra money on another company than endure the amount of stress, loss of time and fuel costs to accomplish something that was absolutely NOT acceptable. Due to the inability of your company to honor and complete a rental reservation made 2 weeks prior has put me in a legal upheavel and that is absolutely without question unacceptable!

My original pickup location was changed to South Monroe Barber Shop in Tallahassee for Sunday morning, Oct 7th. When we arrived there the location was closed. I called U-Haul and they were able to find the equipment I needed at Florida State University location. It took us an extra hour of time with this change. When I was contacted on Saturday, Oct 6th about the location change I asked if the location would be opened and I was told yes. You should verify that locations will be open for pickup.

First of all the customer center directed me to this location which was not my choice of location. #2- It took more than 40 minutes for me to pick up the truck. #3- Although I have received several e-mails from U-Haul since my reservation; I never received my receipt by e-mail as they told me they would so I haven't been able to see the details of what I have paid for. #4- I left the stand for my cell phone in the truck and by the time I realized it I was far from the location but I called and instead of the location I got the call center. So far I have called several times but each time I get the call center and not the actual location so I can talk to someone local about it. Call center suggested to relay messages for the store manger so I did but no one has ever called me back. This is terrible customer service and bad communication!! I give this location one star rating and I hope U-Hall can find a solution for the communication issue between customers and local stores.

Originally I had an appointment for 7am on September 29, 2018 until 7am September 30. However I could not rent a trailer because of wiring so, the staff member transferred my appointment onto a truck and stated to me that I had the same schedule 7 am until 7am. But when I returned later that day staff tried to charge me for 2 days saying that I was due back by 1:45pm that very same day. I disputed this and showed my original 24 hour contract. I thought that the issue was resolved until my wife's credit card was charged twice

My concerns have to do with the U-Haul staff I spoke to at HQ who told me that because I was unable to return the truck by 10:00 am due to medical reasons, there would be no late fees assessed. I was, however, assessed late fees

Stop over pricing for the mileage in town. I went 0.62 over the mile in town and some young inexperienced employee charged me $79.00 additional to what I already had paid. In the near future please have your employees explain the fees up front so the customer will know what to expect because had I known it was going to be that expensive I would have never rented the U-Haul.

I was charged for a dolly that I did not use, I rented a truck and returned it with the dolly still attached to the wall and received an additional charge to what I had already paid for said, never-moved dolly. I called the company the next day and was told that the general manager for the location was "busy" but she would get back to me within 72 hours. That has not happened. I will be actively telling people not to rent from this location.
